After my water heater stopped working one morning, I called Premier Plumbing because I remembered using them in the past. The technicians showed up looked at the hot water heater for a few minutes and said I needed a new one. I said ok and prepared for the worst. The technician went out to his truck to draw up a quote. My best guess estimate, after looking at pricing was around $1,100 or so. The technician returned with a quote of $2,250. I respectfully declined and ended up paying $180 for them to simply look at it and give a quote. I proceeded to Lowe’s and found a suitable hot water heater with similar specifications and talked to the Lowe’s installation team and received a unit/installation quote for $1,278 before discount. After discount $1,237. $1,237 compared to $2,250 for essentially the same thing is easy for even a dummy like me to decide. Don’t even call them. Check with Lowe’s or Home Depot first and you will save yourself $180.

The plumber arrived on time and was very personable. We discussed prices and were able to narrow down the job to specifics since I was 100% sure where the clog was. I appreciated that he listened to me and was able to clear the clog quickly and efficiently.

About 3 weeks ago my heat pump went out, and I called A-1 American they never showed and needless to say it was freezing/snowing at the time. I guess they were too busy making commercials and useless magnets for the yellow pages After 48 hours of hearing nothing from A-1 I did an internet search and found Tidewater Plumbing & Heating, the owner Mr. Martin had his son in law Morris over in less than an hour. My heat pump was sparking and the compressor was totally shot. Morris was able to stop the heat pump from sparking and causing a potential fire. I had a gas line, but it was never connected to the home. Mr. Martin advised me on the price, and how long the job would take. When it came time for them to do the job, it was exactly as described. He came with his son-in-law, and son. They were quick and efficient, they did not leave a mess on my property. This is a family business with honest people, Mr. Martin did not add any hidden fees or surprises as many companies do. The unit was of quality and started right up. If i'm going to spend my hard earned money I want quality work/product. I definitely recommend Tidewater Plumbing & Heating they are honest people who do quality work.

Didn't want to write an estimate for a job over 500.00 or so - we wanted to know what and how much - didn't need the work I guess , we will find someone else, more honest company

They came out February 23 to fix a leaky toilet, the plumber disconnected it and left it, saying we need a new toilet. It is now March 8 and we still have no toilet, despite numerous phone calls and promises that they'll be out with a new toilet tomorrow.

Outstanding service, I had a leak in my attic with water coming through my ceilings to the kitchen on the first floor. They found the problem fixed the problem and i'm totally satisfied.

My parents in their 70s with health issues were made to wait several days for service, in humid warm temps, after they paid EXTRA to be able to get their supposed priority/fast service. False advertising here for sure.After the tech quickly assessed the situation, ran to the store & returned & installed the part on their A/C, (less than an hour in home) they were charged nearly $500!!!!! I believe it was 2 hrs @ $240 per hour. Way to rip off people who are on a fixed budget. I have a feeling your 'good service' reviews are for NEW installations. After that you could care less. Stop making false promises and over-charging people with a RIDICULOUS hourly labor rate. And no, your meager refund of $50, or whatever it was, does not help this service experience!! 👎🏻👎🏻

I have to give one stop plumbing 5 stars! Used home warranty and initially got referral to another competitor that took weeks to make initial contact. Ask to be transferred and one stop picked up the job. Tiffany is a service rep and her customer service was the best I have received in years. Carlos and his crew came out to assess old heater determined the issue, and recommended a replacement. There was a two day turnaround on receiving new heater and I was back up in running. I would recommend this company to any of my friend and family. Their staff understands the service industry and gets it right. Hard working Americans!

Tony and Son repaired the leak coming from the toilet using high quality parts that made it work better than it ever has! Tony also installed a new sink very efficiently, even when he had to work around a very tricky vanity configuration. I was very pleased with the quality of the work. I will certainly use Tony and Son again.
