Affordable (Michael and his apprentice) came and tackled what turned into a plumbing nightmare for us. Our sewer valves were backed up in our new-to-us home with no way to snake the drains, sewage backing into the bathtubs/showers, it was not fun... what should have been a quick snake job turned up to discover we had a years old blockage between our valves and an unserviceable (buried underground) backwater valve that prevented any maintenance on our part, which had been impossible to find in the sewer scope we'd had accomplished before buying our home. They had to dig out our yard and cut out and replace the valves and section of pipe because of the years of backup, all with sewage seeping everywhere. They were professional, and educated me, and kept me in the loop every step of the way on the process, and how the system works so I can maintain from here out. It was a pricey fix, so I much appreciated the military discount and them sticking with the quoted estimates despite the obvious monumental labor involved. SO glad to have gotten this fixed the next day, before the deep freeze hit, I can only imagine how much worse a busted frozen sewer pipe would have been damage wise to our home. They were the only company we called who were able to get us an appointment the next morning, which was great with 3 very young children in the home and me having to tackle the sewage volcano in our front yard in the middle of the night.

Extremely unprofessional! My air conditioning went out and I called them twice. They took my information and then said they'd call me. After 24 hours from the second call, I tried calling again and they hung up on me!

The negative reviews listed here do not in anyway reflect our experience with Pearl. Pearl went out of their way to help us with a furnace issue no one else could solve. After dealing with two reputable companies, we were referred to Pearl by the second company because they specialize in high efficiency furnaces. They were able to solve the problem on their first trip. They were professional, courteous, and downright friendly. Our experience was such that we are now lifelong customers.

Gave us a quote and then lied to try to increase the charge. Guy went on a rant, calling our real estate agent a liar-until the seller’s agent provided documentation to prove Guy was lying. Then he walked out on the job halfway through.
They screwed us over so badly that the seller’s real estate agent went to their office to pick up our refund check even though we had already closed and she had no obligation to us any more whatsoever. She just felt so badly about how terrible Guy was.
Also terrible service and hard to get a hold of throughout the process before they came over, told us they couldn’t do multiple things that future plumbers did no problem, all before they lied to us, etc.
