There aren't yet many HVAC firms here who are knowledgeable and staffed w trained personnel who can explain heat pumps yet. Heat pumps are an energy efficient and year-round ductless (and gas-free!) way to heat AND cool buildings. Carlson's crew was wonderful. From the first contact w a representative all the way through to the final inspection and invoicing, every member of the Carlson staff was professional, respectful, friendly, and knowledgeable. My questions, and I always have LOTS, were given prompt and thorough responses. They were always ready w helpful suggestions and ideas as the work progressed. I liked the firm I turned to for maintenance of my aging gas furnace and ANCIENT swamp cooler; I love the Carlson crew and I am totally enjoying the quiet and the clean, cool temperatures the new system has brought to my home just in time for a NM summer!

Picked up a scent of gas near my mechanical closet and immediately called a company for check up, Louie at LC Heating & Cooling was at my door the very next day to look at my system, turns out I had a dangerous leak from a component that could not be repaired. With a 4 week old baby in the house going without heat was not option. Louie was thoughtful, considerate and extremely professional, he was able to shuffle his schedule and installed a top of the line Carrier system a day later, just before and expected coldfront was moving in. I strongly recommend this locally owned and operated small business to anyone, Louie is a great guy and look forward to working with LC Heating & Cooling in the future.

Gerald and the staff at MGP Mechanical are top notch. While another company told us our cooling unit could not be repaired and would need to be replaced, Gerald repaired it and saved us a considerable amount of money. We also recently had to relocate our server room. MGP Mechanical handled their portion of the move with ease and on time. It is comforting to deal with honest professionals. I highly recommend MGP Mechanical.

Hired to address 2 minor leaks...1 from toilet that required simple wax ring replacement and 2nd from under kitchen sink that required simple drain pipe and flange replacement...tech was there for barely 2 hours to complete work and then wanted to charge us over $800 for the minor repairs that were done. When we protested, he gave us a 'discount' but bill was still over $700!! That amounts to over $350 per hour for work that was done which, IMHO, is absolutely ridiculous. Worst of all, after charging to replace the wax ring for the toilet, he then tells us that our toilet should be replaced, and offered to come back out to replace it at another time, for a separate charge...but then, said he'd give us a discounted rate for that....what a croc! The whole experience felt like we were dealing with an old-school used car dealer. I think he (his name was Barney) thought that because we were elderly women that he could just tell us anything and we'd believe it and also, that he could change whatever he wanted. Came away feeling very disrespected and taken advantage of and we will never use Wagner again...even though we have other services we need, including having our furnace serviced for the winter. It was a terrible experience.

RMS was recommended by my roofer and I saw that they have wonderful reviews here, so I felt very confident in having chosen the best HVAC company for the job, which was a swamp cooler relocation with new ducting. RMS techs showed up on the pre-arranged date and completed the work on time.
When I went to inspect the swamp cooler, I noticed it was scratched on top and I shared my observation with RMS whereupon Scott came out to repaint the lid of the swamp cooler. I was happy that they followed up and fixed the issue.
When a severe rain storm hit, both ducts that had been installed by RMS started leaking and I had to put buckets under the ducts in both bedrooms. I called RMS and they promised to send someone by to inspect the ducts. Unfortunately, I never saw anybody coming by to reinspect their work. I sealed the ducts myself, but one of them still leaks. I am disappointed with their work; hence only 2 stars.

Extremely unprofessional! My air conditioning went out and I called them twice. They took my information and then said they'd call me. After 24 hours from the second call, I tried calling again and they hung up on me!

After getting several bids on replacing our old propane furnace Custom-Air beat them all easily. Rick and Dave are absolute Pro's with meticulous work and excellent products. They were punctual and it was a pleasure to work with them with their positive attitudes and clearly knowledgeable work. They work extremely well as a team, made sure everything worked correctly, and cleaned up before leaving! Simply the best. Our new Heil Furnace/Ac setup works great right out of the box and is incredibly more efficient. Highly recommended!

Our new system worked flawlessly all summer! First cool fall day today in the East Mountains and switched over to heat which worked perfectly. Thanks Custom-Air for a job well done!

Julian and his team are amazing!!! I got hvac through this company and they have been incredible! Julian is fast responding and helps me with any questions I have. This company is great and very knowledgeable and friendly. I highly recommend!!!!

Would not recommend. Not professional answering the phone. If you just have people waiting on hold you shouldn't have a business. Couldn't even answer my question.
