Best Air Conditioning in Albuquerque NM
Pros: B Carlson was timely and got the job done within the stated timeline to get our AC conversion completed with summer looming. I am extremely satisfied with the unit and how it performs as expected
Update 9/27/21: The management at B Carlson reached out to me and made good on their promise to do the job right. They earned my business with their follow up and I wouldn’t hesitate to use them or recommend them again after they took the time to come back out and make an aesthetic repair. Switching to refrigerated with BCarlson was a great decision overall.
Original review June 2021 Cons: When quoted for the job I was told that this company “does the job right”, however when an accidental hole was drilled by the technician in our exterior stucco, we got a tacky patch job with clear silicon that isn’t very appealing on the exterior of your home, and worries me about long term durability. With the very significant expense of the job, I feel attention to detail was a bit lacking - and slapping on some silicone is not best business practice when it comes to one of your biggest investments; your home.

It was easy to schedule an appointment, and Scott was on time and personable when reviewing our new home's heating and cooling systems. He helped us understand how to maximize efficiency and take good care of our A/C and radient heat. He also allowed me to follow him up on the roof so I could establish a baseline of what was normal for our air conditioning units! Good education and maintenance.

Our house is on city sewer but it's a pressurized system and utilizes a grinder pump and float station. The pump itself was replaced when we first moved in summer of 2021 but we've had ongoing issues with the pit flooding and pump not pumping. The first time it happened we called Albuquerque Plumbing Heating & Cooling and Greg came out as our tech. We had the pit pumped out to make it easier to work on and he ended up diagnosing a valve that needed to be replaced. That seemed to resolve our issue for a few months but when we had the issue again very recently it ended up being a hose that needed to be replaced. Hose was replaced and it seemed to resolve the issue again at least for a while. While we've been having intermittent issues with it flooding ABQ Plumbing unfortunately does not do any work on pressurized systems which is where we feel the root cause of the issue is.In spite of that Greg was a fantastic tech. Very friendly and personable and seemed to genuinely care about our issue. I would highly recommend Greg as he was the same tech that came out for the separate issues we've had.

Would not recommend. Not professional answering the phone. If you just have people waiting on hold you shouldn't have a business. Couldn't even answer my question.
