Had a terrible experience that is expensive lesson learned and will be remembered for a lifetime. I am the first time home buyer that was misled by Brown’s about the repairs that they “estimated” and “promised” to be fixed within a budget. Turned out they need another significant amount of money that should be addressed earlier but never was. The repair project took over a month to start after multiple phone calls. They fixed a small part of the problem, the main problem remains. First the owner told me he is going to keep in touch to have the rest of the issue resolved. They asked to be paid as they were leaving. They charged me 4,000 for a replacement of the pipe and the water is still flooding and gurgling everytime we use the bathroom. It’s been over 4 weeks and now they don’t even return my call about the gurgling issue. I got charged $4,000 unwillingly plus I will be responsible for the mistake that occurred from their side. This would probably cost me another thousands of dollars. How could Brown’s get away from lying in the estimate and didn’t get charged for their own mistake. If this is not enforceable by law, then it takes integrity that you should have but you do not.
In the future if you happen to call us back just remember ”NO” we do not want you back.

They were only one that returned our call. They were were on time, replaced leaking valves quickly and everything works great.

Lifesavers!! Had an incredible experience with Carr's plumbing! We were without water for a day or so, the city came out TWICE and couldn't figure out what the issue was. Then Carr's was able find a solution within the hour. Kodi was a very professional young man, didn't hesitate to dive right in and didn't stop until the job was done! Great company, quick on response time. Had our sewer back up and they came right out. The technician we had was named Tom. Tom was awesome and had a great attitude the whole time. He was very helpful and did great at explaining what was wrong. He went above and beyond all of our expectations. I would definantely recommend anyone to use this company. I wouldnt call anyone else. This company was great! Ben, Jake and Christian came out to install a new AC and heater in a really tight spot. They were very friendly and professionally.

They were prompt for coming to look at the project. Both guys that came out looked at the project and gave me a verbal bid, nothing in writing and in my humble opinion should have been a pretty close estimate vs. if you do it this way 700-1500 and if you do it this way 2000-3500. The project wasn't that large and they had all of the information to bid it within a couple of bucks either way. Not impressed. Additionally no follow up and it has been 2 weeks.

Update 06.21.21: Once I posted about my experience, they called me back, and gave me a closer quote on the project. Quite high but a quote none the less, so they did what was requested.

We are out of town and notified by tenants that we had a small leak in the basement, but not an emergency.
Called a few places in Wichita around 5pm and had to leave voicemails. Simmons Plumbing was the only company to call back after hours to schedule a visit. They showed up at 9am the next morning and had the leak fixed by 11am. They were open from the very beginning on the pricing and always asked for confirmation before performing the work. Highly recommend.

Kevin and his apprentice changed out our hot water tank in 45 minutes. Kevin was very very very professional as was his apprentice. They did a wonderful job cannot be more pleased with the job they did .. Thank you sir

I've lucked out and had Bowers a few times as the vendor for my home warranty work orders and have used them outside of warranty stuff too because of how much I like them! Have loooved their service and the time they take to help me understand technical aspects of what they are doing or needs done. We've also specifically had Jason several times as the person who comes out and we just can't recommend him and the company enough.

Pipe Medic has responded quickly and effectively to two after hours water heater emergencies; once at a rental property and recently at my parents' house. We would have been in a bad situation without the quick response. High marks for Pipe Medic!

JL Plumbing was very responsive on the first call to fix drain/sewer line issues. Came back about 1 month later after line backed up again and warranted the work. Would recommend JL Plumbing for fast fair service.

Great, knowledgeable, and polite dispatcher, whose name was John. When the Garrett, the technician, got to the house he was also knowledgeable, polite, and cleaned up after himself instead of tracking in a big mess or leaving a big mess. We just bought this new house in May and it was under warranty but the plumber that was assigned to us was not going to come out for a few days because we called on the weekend. Of course that would not work with a sump pump out and our house having 7 of rain last night. I am so happy they came out in a timely fashion and would highly recommend them and the work they do.
