Always have good luck with these guys and feel like they are honest. Called ME to set up a free plumbing inspection, drained and flushed my water heater, checked whole house plumbing, etc... He found an issue that I felt I was able to repair myself, no pressure from the technician to have them do the repairs, and it potentially saved me from having water damage down the road.

I did not get the name of the Tech that came out to repair our ruptured water pipe, but he did an amazing job! The leak was in a difficult to reach area in the basement ceiling, he had to squeeze up through a linen cabinet and reach between trusses to make the repair. He was pleasant and professional, awesome job!

Hot water tank blew out late afternoon on Friday... After I got things under control, I called the Ben Franklin emergency number (evening) and received a return call the next day to confirm situation ... Gus arrived about noon on Sunday (Mothers Day!!)... and was fully prepared to install a new hot water tank himself!!... Installation went smoothly and we had hot water by 5 PM..... Very happy!!

Jason was great!! He was honest, professional, kind, patient, answered question's that were asked over and over, did everything he could to be as economical as possible in his quotes he presented. Great experience with Jason, would recommend Benjamin Franklin Plumbing.

I work for a rather large company. We hired them to replace one of our two main lines, so 80% of our facility would be without water during this repair. We were told that we would be without water for a day, it ended up being 2 days and then the line burst within 4 hours of the water being turned back on that added a third day.There was zero communication, and they showed up later than we were told they would every single day. I could not get anyone to call me back, despite leaving multiple messages with the receptionist asking for information on what was going on. And when I attempted to walk over and talk to the person overseeing the job he walked the opposite direction and got into his truck.My company will not be using them for so much as a clogged toilet going forward. And from the number of employees that stopped me over those three day and asked me to tell Benjamin Franklin that they had lost them as a customer, I am sure they have also lost the business of most of our employees.

Jay did an amazing job at our home. It was a very difficult instillation of a water heater, due to the fact that our old one was not up to code. He spent the entire day working in a cramped closet with little air or space and did an fabulous job. He was very pleasant, professional and works extremely hard. I highly recommend him!!

Had a leak to the shut off valve to our ice maker. We had to shut water off to entire house until valve was repaired. This happened after normal business hours. So thankful that they work 24 hrs. From the time we called for help we only had to wait a couple of hrs. before someone came out. Gus, our plumber, was very polite & professional. Was very impressed how quickly he saw what needed to be done & he was able to repair the valve & have or water turned back on in short order. Will definitely be referring this company to others. Very pleased with their promptness to get someone out even though it was after hours.

Tim came out on a Sunday morning and did a great job.

They charged me $49 never looked at anything. I tried to ask over the phone for a price they would not give me one. He came out and wanted $300 to snake out my pipe. If he had told me the on the phone I could have saved $50! I will NEVER use them for anything ever agian!

I called Benjamin Franklin Plumbing when I discovered water running from underneath the sheetrock inside my garage. My fear was that a pipe had burst inside the wall. Garrett Davis, the technician, arrived promptly and quickly found that the problem was a defective water line to my refrigerator. He turned the water off, and since this wasn't a plumbing problem, suggested that I call a water restoration company to remove any water that had accumulated underneath the kitchen floor and inside the sheetrock. Garrett was very timely in arriving, very courteous and professional. I would not hesitate to call this company for any future plumbing repairs though this turned out not to be a repair problem per se. Ken Ellis

Josh was very helpful and detailed with his diagnosis. The scheduling process was easy too. The company does a good job at telling you when they're arriving and prompt with estimate invoices.

I was more then impressed with the service I received. On Superbowl Sunday in 18 degree weather Garrett showed up 20 min after I called addressed my issue ans in about 90 min had me all fixed up. All this after I was turned away by Roto Rooter. You now have a customer for life.

We had a pipe burst during the cold and were able to get ahold of them quickly, and were told we’d be put on standby because the plumbers were fully booked. The very next morning someone was able to be here to make our repair. He was fast, courteous, and did a great job. Benjamin Franklin is a little pricier than some of the other companies in our area but offer a great warranty and I’m so happy they saved our Christmas!

Called on Thanksgiving night due to flooding in the basement. Josh was able to come 8am the next day. He showed up on time and fixed my clogged main sewer pipe within two hours. I appreciate his knowledge and willingness to communicate with me regarding what the problem was and how to address it in the future. I will use Benjamin Franklin whenever I have any plumbing needs.

Let’s start with the gal answering the phones. She was helpful, clear, and direct. Austin was prompt, knowledgeable, and willing to educate us. He also took the time (which proved to be difficult) to contact a different company who had previously done work at our house and had caused even more of an issue than we started with. We’ve used Benjamin Franklin previously. We’ve had them replace pressure tanks, hot water heaters and well pumps, and I cannot stress enough that you definitely get what you pay for and more!

John and his apprentice was professional and courteous. There was a defect from the factory and they repaired it under warranty. Had to wait for the parts to be delivered and they were fast once the parts arrived.

BF called to ensure we were prepared for the visit. then sent text & email with name & photo of plumber. All service was professional. No issues.

Technician arrived before scheduled time for emergency service. Went above and beyond to help up get info on exactly what we wanted. Replaced water heater quickly and got us back up and running. The best!

Update - Jonathan, the general manager called and discussed the situation. I think the whole problem was a misunderstanding between the original call taker and myself. I was told the $49 fee was to diagnose the reverse osmosis system; however the $49 fee was a service call charge. After explanation the manager understood and made it right.I have plumbers that I usually use, but they don't work on reverse osmosis (RO) systems. I bought a house as a foreclosure, so had no history on RO but it wasn't working - no water flowing from tap. I called around a few plumbers in Wichita, and Ben Franklin was the only one that said they work on RO and that they could do a $49 diagnosis fee to tell me what was wrong with it. I figured $49 was worth it to find out what was wrong and if it'd be worth repairing. They were very good with scheduling, set a 3 hour window and gave me a call 30 minutes prior to plumber showing up at house. Pretty much as soon as the plumber opened drawers underneath sink to look at RO he started telling me how there was no way to know what is causing problem - could be needle valve supply, could be RO filters, could be any number of other things. Then he proceeded to tell me that this would require a level 2 diagnosis fee which was $300 to tell me anything at all about the system or if he could repair it!!! I asked why his front desk/dispatcher told me that they could diagnose RO for a $49 fee if it actually cost $300? He called the general manager to ask if they could waive the $49 diagnosis fee. He refused to waive the fee or talk to me. So, I feel as though they mislead me into thinking the RO system would be diagnosed for $49 when they knew from the beginning it would take $300 to diagnose; charged me $49 to tell me nothing and waste my time.

Saturday service was great! Highly recommend. Friendly, courteous and communicated service issue well. Sorry I can’t call the tech out by name. He had a face mask on.

He also shared with me options to help maintain and extend the life of my tankless water heater I had installed last year. Very punctual and friendly. This morning my sump pump was stuck running and wouldn't stop so it was overheating! With a couple of inches of rain expected this weekend I was definitely worried about having a faulty sump pump. Benjamin Franklin Plumbing came out first thing in the morning and within an hour of their arrival I had a brand new sump pump. Bring on the rain!

We had a sprouting fountain beneath our house. Josh came out quickly and not only fixed the leak, but also found & fixed an additional area that would soon have been another gusher. EXCELLENT job!

We had no running water after coming home from out of town and Benjamin Franklin was the first to come out w/o charging a ridiculous price for weekend prices, I think it’s still on the high side but it’s still comparable to other reputable companies. He stayed until after 9pm. He was so kind, patient, informative, knowledgeable and tried his best to minimize any repairs that weren’t necessary. He treated us like we were his first customer, when he had already worked a 12 hr day. We would use this company again for outstanding service!

It was a Saturday evening and my washing Machine was backing up into the bathtub and the toilet started gurgling. When the shower was on The toilet would gargle and water would back up into the toilet. So I called Benjamin Franklin plumbing, they sent David that evening. Save your money and go elsewhere. They quoted me $500-$600 to replace a garbage disposal and that's for the cheap one. When I asked how much the parts and labor was they couldn't tell me. Never had a company tell me that. I wonder why

Recently had a water heater (only 3.75 years old) quit working, called Sears and they came out days later and just said ....this wasn't installed right and we can't do anything. I'm like.....Hmmm what the heck. I was very upset and called Benjamin Franklin Plumbing and Ken came and did notice some issues with the installation and also diagnosed the problem (which I thought was going to cost me mega $$$$$) and it wasn't as bad as I suspected. He actually looked at the unit where the Sears rep. refused. He also fixed it to my delight and I'm very satisfied with Benjamin Franklin plumbing and will use them from now on...no questions . Next prob. I have I will ask for Ken again

Within 45 minutes, I had a new faucet that was far better than the original and with which I'm extremely happy. Tim and his associate were friendly, professional, courteous and explained everything before they started. I now consider Ben Franklin my plumber of choice, though I hope I will not need their services.

They charge insane prices. It seems that the technician thought we knew nothing about engineering and he wish to become a millionaire out of the service.- replace a shut-off valve: $310- replace toilet tank to bowl gasket: $435- estimate only: $59They have standard price options, and the technician chose Deluxe Toilet Rebuild, while I have no idea where deluxe comes from. The technician also agreed a better idea was to buy a new toilet and they install it for me ($300 + $400).To give you an idea what the parts and labor could cost: I went to the HomeDepot for the gasket for $7.80 and a shut-off valve for $9.73. I replaced the gasket within 15 min (using two wrenches, as low as $3 each at Walmart if you don't have one). I replaced the valve within about 45 mins, including applying a plumber's tape ($0.98 at HomeDepot).On a side note, when I called, the representative offered to waive the estimate/dispatch fee ($59) as I told her that I would consider other contractors. But, the technician asked for the estimate fee after I said I would consider the 2nd option (buy a new toilet). He said the estimate fee could only be waived if I purchase the service that day; not even I chose the 2nd option. I'm okay to pay for their time for estimate, but I felt tricked.If you were in the same situation and you didn't want to touch anything, it is very convenient if you choose a new toilet at homedept/lowes' and request for installation services; and yes, it is cheaper and easier.

I called Benjamin Franklin this morning just before noon and it is now 230 and they have already sent out the most friendly technician and he has fixed the problem. From making the initial phone call to saying goodbye this was a very good experience, especially considering the anxiety finding this leak has caused. Would absolutely recommend Jason

David, the former Marine, was our technician. Super professional and personable. He knew exactly what the problem was and fixed it. It got a little complicated, but as Marines always do, he adapted and overcame. Plus my dog really liked him too.

We had an emergency plumbing issue on a Friday morning. We were able to make contact with Benjamin Franklin Plumbing before 9am, and they had all appointments booked for the day, but had us on standby. We were able to get a call back within 20 minutes from the time when we said we would be available and Ryan showed up 10 minutes after that! Friendly professional service and willing to answer any questions we had about the issues.

I was thinking I needed a whole new water heater. And if he had said I needed one, I would have believed him. But it was something really easy that we could do , so he was honest and we were only charged the tech visit. Saved me a lot of money! I appreciate the honesty.

Ben Franklin was who we called for a second opinion after the main sewer drain in the basement started backing up. The first plumber told us we needed a camera sent down because they thought there was a problem in the line . Ben franklin came out and snaked the line too and pulled out a clog of diaper wipes someone (we still don't know) put down the toliet. Only problem is before snaking the line, they had my father in law sign a contract saying itd be over $600 to send a camera down and fix the unknown problem. So after they removed the clog in less than 10 minutes they said too bad you owe us $600 either way might as well send a camera down since you already agreed to pay for it. What a bunch of con men, we know not to call them for their expertise again because they wait until after the sell to give it to you. Two stars just for being quick and courteous, just watch your wallet.

Work very hard to solve the problem. This morning Tyler and Bobby showed up to finish the job these guys are excellent and awesome workers. They fixed my drain pipe that was frozen soild. Replace it and really want to say thank you to them for doing a A+ job in this cold weather. Thank you guys.

Discovered that our sewer had backed up at 5:00 p.m. Friday afternoon. Called Ben Franklin Plumbing and they came out at 7:00 p.m. Jay and Garrett reviewed our mess and explained what would need to be done. Got started by 7:30 and had our sewer unplugged very quickly. Professional, courteous, and good communicators.

I had called this company due to recommendations from other and saw that they had a high review rate plus they're a well known name. When I called, the person I spoke to on the phone with was friendly and told me up front that it would be a $30 dollar charge to have a technician come out to review the damage done given our situation. So we had set up an appointment. The technician came the next day on time which was appreciated but had to wait on another guy to come before getting started.When the technician came they did not really speak to us directly and gave us a ridiculous pricing. It seemed like they wanted to get the most for their bucks. $340 to take out a toilet and then $200-250 just to get a camera in our drain system to see what was clogging it up. We took the toilet off ourselves which only took 20 minutes top and the $200 they wanted to charge us was just to look in our drain system to see what was clogging it up and not to fix it. I ended up calling a different company who cleared our drain without viewing it with a camera for only $180 bucks. I wish they would have been more willing to work with their customers instead of quoting us a ridiculous price.

While their service was too expensive for me and I had to go with a different plumber, I appreciated the attention, promptness, transparency, and attention to detail the plumber provided. Without needing to ask him, he put on shoe covers before stepping into my home, which I really appreciate because we like to leave our shoes at the door and keep the floors as clean as possible. Quoted $1,800 to extend a pipe 10 ft. The materials alone cost less than $40. Plus the $50 estimate. It almost seems like they make money on that $50 fee, and then give you an outrageous quote you won’t bother following through with. Complete waste of time!

Benjamin Franklin Plumbing did a courtesy inspection of my water heater and plumbing in my home. The technician was very professional and answered any questions I had about the work he performed.During the inspection as he was checking out my kitchen sink and faucet he noticed that the faucet appeared pitted and was seeping water every time it was used.I told him it the faucet was replaced by a previous technician about three years ago. He checked his iPad and saw that the faucet was under warranty and replaced it.I am very satisfied with the service I received from Benjamin Franklin Plumbing and would recommend them to anybody who has a question about plumbing or needs plumbing work performed at their residence or place of business.

My bathroom sink was slowly draining and they came and fixed it so it now drains. The work was performed in a timely manner and they were very professional.

Tim arrived on time, first thing in the morning and was persistent in locating the clog in my kitchen sink. The way my plumbing is in our home, it wasn’t a simple clog compared to some homes. He actually had to get under the crawl space to see how the pipes we’re done which is not an easy thing to do. Once he fixed the clog he provided some solutions to help us prevent this in the future. He was extremely professional, courteous and while he provided the worst case scenario it ended up not being the case. The staff was professional and gave me a professional quote. I was led to believe that it was $49.00 to come out and look at my problem. Next thing I know it's $129.00 to look at the problem but that's knocked off if they do the work. I figure okay that would cover labor if they needed to change out the water heater. My quote was for $1596.00 for a 6 year warranty, $1997.00 for a 10 year warranty, and $2729 for a 14 year warranty. Well they already have you hooked for $49.00 just to come by and $129.00 to diagnose for a total of $177.00 just to look and tell me I need a new water heater. Oh and they told me I could get a veteran discount If they do the work. They did offer to install a water heater I buy if I wanted them to. So I asked how much? $749.00. That's about a two hour job at some where around 370. and hour. Don't Pick This Place To Help You Out.Benjamin Franklin Pluming called back and explained that the additional cost was due to them completing a pressurized flush yearly in addition to the manufacturer warranty. They offered to refund my money for the system troubleshooting and go the extra, to refund the $49.00 trip charge to show that they want a positive experience from all their customers. Water Heater was tripping off and black was building up around the pilot light window.... Called on Monday, there were out first thing Tuesday... Water Heater screens were plugged and dirty... took time to explain the problem which I always appreciate it! Did not rush and they did a quality job! Overall extremely happy and will use again!!

Explained a lot of details about water heaters and what future problems we could run into and about when to expect to need to replace it. Was respectful and got the job done quick. The company was the only place I could find that would help us out right away, every other company said it would be about a week or 2 weeks out. Who can go without hot water that long??

Didn't call before arriving, was very rude, and didn't fix the issue at all, couldn't even figure out where our plumbing line was. But was going to charge roughly 2 grand to try on Monday (6 days from now) even though our plumbing is out of service until the issue is resolved. Refused service and called a professional plumber who did the job without issue.

Our toilet started overflowing and than the shut off valve rusted off. This all happened during the week of Christmas at around 4 pm on Friday. Benjamin Franklin was quick to answer my call and Sam was at our house within an hour. He was professional and polite.

I only received a quote at this time, but the technician that came out was SUPER knowledgeable. I asked him to check out a separate, unrelated area not part of the initial call out, a leaking connection in my basement. He took the time to take a quick look at all the connections in the area to point out any potential issues due to previous work and why they could pose problems but also the things that previous plumbers did right. He wasn't trying to sell me on their services, but took the time to help me understand the plumbing. They may be a little more expensive than others in the area, but after today's experience, I would feel confident that they would do a high quality job.

He is the single most impressive tradesman I've ever encountered. He is willing to go far above and beyond your expectations, and is as friendly as they come. Highly knowledgeable, he is willing to educate you on the various other small ailments around your home in regards to plumbing and will make recommendations to the best of his ability. Whatever they're paying him at Ben Franklin, they aren't paying him enough. If the rest of the technicians are anywhere close to his level, then Ben Franklin is by far the best company to choose for plumbing issues.

Josh got here right on time, suited up with appropriate protective gear, explained fully what he was going to do and then what he did, and was very patient with me! He showed me a couple of photos that indicated I (we) should keep an eye on in the future. This was my 3rd experience with the professionals who work for Ben Frankilin since my husband became ill and then passed away. I couldn't be happier with this organization, and they will have my business as long as I own my own 100+ year old home!

My shower valve broke at night and I had to shut off the water into the house. They were able to respond the next day. Austin and his partner were very professional and friendly. They kept me informed every step of the way. They replaced my shower valve and the associated tubing. I am very satisfied and would recommend.

We have been in business for many of years and had previously used another plumbing company, but since making the switch to Benjamin Franklin, I will never go to anyone else. They are always responsive, quick to get on-site, can always identify the problem and fix it timely. We hired this company becuase they were the low bid. After cutting all of our pipes loose, they informed us that it would be $2000 more then the bid becuase they found what the other companies saw in the first place. So they are either incomputent or dishonest. Very displeased

Colton removed and replaced water valve at tub, removed and replaced faucet kit and removed and replaced overflow. He was efficient and friendly throughout. He kept us advised of his progress and discussed options open to us as he progressed. He completed the job expeditiously and cleaned up after himself. He observed mold around the overflow on the Sheetrock and gave us a referral for mold remediation. Great job. Will recommend to neighbors and friends for any plumbing repairs

I've always had good service from the technicians sent to do work at my home. They are professional, personable, and have always done what I wanted or advised me on what needed to be done, Eddie H. has been here a couple of times and we've appreciated his helpfulness.

Gus arrived shortly after texting me and evaluated the situation. Once he had determined the problem, he went to work clearing out the sewer blockage we had. He was very professional, good, and quick. We were very pleased with the service we received.

I had sticker price shock. Tim was so calm. He immediately compared the existing fixture to the proposed new one. When I saw the new fixture I knew it to be substantially higher in quality and that the existing fixture failed for lack of quality.The vital question Tim asked me was how long did I plan to live in my home. I told him I had just retired and that I would be living in this home till they carry me out the door.Tim was not high pressured. He has natural people skills and truly believes in Franklin's products...and now I do too!

We had a surprise, early Saturday morning... our water heater decided to dispel itself all over a portion of our basement floor. Having soggy boxes and at least an inch of water to scoot into the sump pump, we called Benjamin Franklin.Josh arrived within half an hour, and quickly prescribed a solution. He then went about the task of emptying and removing our old tank, and installed a new tank. His service was detailed, and clean. You could tell he actually liked working with water heaters, and he installed new copper lines, and a pressure flow line pvc to our sump pump, when we hadn’t had one preciously.We purchased a tank, with a 10 year warranty, and are looking forward to Josh coming out for the free yearling service and flush of the tank, so we can keep this tank up and running for as long as possible!

I would use Benjamin Franklin Pumbing again.The pipe from my propane tank to the regulator broke. With temperature around freezing I needed heat and hot water working. The gas company said it would be 2 weeks before they could fix it. So, I went searching for a plumber. Most plumber response was call the gas company. Benjamin Franklin Plumbing was busy; but, the were able to send a plumber the same day. The problem was quickly resolved. The technician was clean, friendly, and professional. The fee was reasonable and less than I expected.

We called Benjamin Franklin because we needed a new sump pump. Our technician, Jamie B. was awesome. He explained everything thoroughly and was very patient with our questions. Would highly recommend this company.

I called Benjamin Franklin today after my water heater shot craps yesterday and they caught my attention with a sticker on the front of my Wichita Eagle this morning. The two gentleman arrived on time and conducted themselves in a professional and courteous manner. However, I was stunned when after informing me that it was a fairly simple and routine installation they then proceeded to tell me that the cost of replacing my water tank was $1800!!! (I had asked the receptionist I spoke to on the phone what the cost might be, but she declined to give even a cursory estimate even though the plumbers who arrived had a laminated pricing chart with them.) I thought this sounded excessive and decided to check around before committing. After calling 3 other reputable plumbers I was quoted a total cost of product and installation ranging from $825 to $925. I'm sure Benjamin Franklin probably does good work, but I can't imagine that they are worth twice what everybody else is charging for the same job.I would shop around before using their services.

My sump pump died last night during the severe storms and heavy rain. I woke up to a fast leaking water heater and called one plumbing company. They told us they could not get to us for 3-4 days. I called Benjamin Franklin and they were able to make it out within 2 hours. Their plumber was very informative and went over several options. Our water heater went on a Saturday morning. I looked for plumbers that could do a weekend service call and found Benjamin Franklin. I read some reviews and gave them a call. There was a $49 service call that did not apply to any work that would be required. We had a plumber (Joshua) at the house in 30 minutes. Joshua was professional and explained the repair options and warranty details. While I was waiting for the plumber to arrive I priced water heaters so I would have a good idea what to pay for a new unit. Their prices were competitive with the big box stores so when he added in labor it was about twice the cost of just the water heater. He quoted 4 hours for the work and he was right on the mark. He cleaned up and walked me through everything he did. This was not an inexpensive repair but their service made it easier to deal with.

Warranty repair on tankless water heater, nothing the fault of Benjamin Franklin Plumbing. Service technicians Greg, Josh W, and Ken Y were prompt, very friendly and provided excellent service. All techs and service have always been excellent! Highly recommend!!!

Two technicians arrived and evaluated two toilets for leaking. However they could not get the problem to occur while they were here. Instead of performing unneeded repairs, they just charged the minimum charge for evaluation, made some recommendations and suggested we call if the problem continues.I appreciate that they did not perform unneeded repairs.

He let us know the costs up front, and gave us best/worst case scenario. He left his shoes at the door, and did not leave a mess after completing the work. I would 100% recommend Jason.

I called and got an appointment within two hours. I think it was luck because they were slammed with the freezing temps, but got everything fixed and Robert was very professional and kind.

I had a leaking main water pipe from the meter to the house. I called and they sent Jason to check out the problem. After performing some quick tests, he diagnosed the problem and gave me two cost estimates: best and worst cases. Bobby and Ken came out to do the repair, and it was first class. They moved the garden gravel and plastic weed barrier, did the best case repair (which was all that was required), and replaced the plastic and gravel, perfectly. Finally, they flushed all the air out of the sinks and tubs. All was just what I expected from Benjamin Franklin plumbing - friendly people and excellent work. I’m very happy with my choice!

Bait and switch trap. Told me it would be 129 on the phone. When the guy got to the house the amount changed to 600 dollars. Then tried to charge me the original 129 for coming out!! If you would gave been up front and honest I would have told them not to come out. Would have saved everyone a lot of time and anger. I would never recommend this company as this is some shady bait and switch tactics. Upsell your goods don't try to push them on everyone.

i had a great experience with this company from start to finish. A family member of mine needed there hot water heater pilot light lit. I followed all the re-light instructions and nothing was happening. I then called Benjamin Franklin plumbing and they were ready to send a tech the same day. It didn’t work out that day do to other things I had come up but the next morning they were right back on the phone calling me to send a technician out. They came to the residence quickly and were professional every step of the way. They figured out the problem and I had to wait till the next morning do do a certain type of thermopile that had to be replaced and also it got dark and we agreed early the next morning would be best. They were there and ready by the agreed time and got the hot water heater working quickly. I would like to say thank you to everyone that was involved. It was a wonderful experience. My technicians name was John he also had a helpful “apprentice “ I’m not sure of his name but thank you.

We have had a number of plumbing/sewer line issues with our older home. Each time we've turned to Benjamin Franklin, and they do a great job.Fast response; always give an accurate quote up front before starting work; clean up well afterwards. They also do a good job keeping the homeowner advised while work is going on, as to what they're doing and why.This last visit we had Jay and Garrett here for a blocked line from our kitchen to the main line exit. It was an extremely stinky, dirty job, but they got the blockage removed and sinks and dishwasher drain fine again.Highly recommended!

Thanksgiving day we developed a leak in the water supply line on the outside of the house. Bad enough that we had to shut the water off to the house…on Thanksgiving. Tim arrived quickly and was very helpful, and explained what was going on. He came on the Sunday of a holiday weekend, which was very nice. It was a simple problem, and he showed me what to do the next time it happens, and explained what caused it. Very happy with the service.

Tim checked the water pipes/system at my property including the pipe work in the crawlspace under the house. He evaluated everything and gave me several options and estimates on the cost to do the job of replacing the pipes. He was very thorough and congenial, gave me time frames, and told me what to expect at the time of the replacement/repair work.

Mixed Results - We called them because we heard that they will come out very quickly, and we had something urgent. They promised the next morning between 8am and 11am. They arrived closer to 11:30am and then told us that we had been booked for 11am to 2pm, which is not correct. Their receptionist was very diligent and confirmed every detail. Also, we were promised a $49 trip charge that turned into about $150 after they arrived and fixed the problem in about 2 minutes (no parts required). For a company that promises to pay you if they are late and that all costs are agreed to up front, this was kind of a surprise. They did complete the job in a satisfactory manner, but the scheduling/billing process leaves something to be desired. Also on a positive note, they answer their phone 24 hours a day, and that is probably hard to get elsewhere.

Not only is Benjamin Franklin the company we have used for all of our plumbing needs for the past 14 years, but Jeff (the gentleman who replaced our sewer line) is the prime example for what any man should hope to be.

Sewer backing up in basement toilet and tub. Tim was able to get the clog itself fixed, but the bigger issue with the toilet and flange he was unable to fix on the first trip. He got everything set up for the subsequent trips that would be needed. Everything was explained clearly as to what he was doing and what else was needed. I highly recommend their membership program, it's definitely saved me money. I'd gladly recommend their company. I've had them out for a couple different jobs and they've done excellent work. Woke up to the house drain backing up, called and scheduled an appointment. They called and were able to come about 3 hours early! Cleared the tree roots out of the sewer and saved our holiday the next day!

Well, all I can say is it was what I would call a perfect visit, from a customer’s perspective. Prompt, personable, and efficient. It was due to those qualities that I inquired about installing new faucets in three bathrooms. I’m scheduled for Monday installation. Like I said: “A perfect visit!”

Josh came over at the specified time got to work right away and was pleasant the entire time. I was doing work around the house while he was inspecting and seeing what all needed to be done and he made sure to keep me informed of what was going on and even asked if I wanted to see the inspection items he was looking for. This made me feel comfortable that he was not trying to sell me something I didn't need (lets face it we have all heard/had those horror stories happen to us). He did have to leave to get a piece of equipment but before he left to grab it went through what charges were going to be and explained them thoroughly. When he got back he went right back to work and was done pretty quickly. towards the end he even allowed me to view the drain on the camera he was using and showed me how long my sewer was and what areas he had to clean as well as areas that may become problems in the future but told me they were fine now. My access point in the house is behind my water heater (horrible placement) and the gas line was in the way. He told me he was going to remove the line and replace it and the replacement made it a whole ton easier to get in there next time if this happens again and he did not charge me for the new piping or extra shut off he installed. Overall Josh was very professional, through and made the experience of something that pulls your house to a stop much more pleasant than I thought it ever could be. Would recommend him again in a heartbeat!

Do not hire these liars.They were here a month ago. They say they guarantee their work, well... I called them out again because since last week there has been a cesspool in my basement causing mold and other problems.The desk person was rude, manager was rude, the attendant was rude... - they said they guarantee their work yet their attendant simply drove off.They are not understanding that I had to pick up my son earlier. They refuse to meet quality expectations.They refuse to be civil, so we are taking them to court.

I upgraded this review from Poor-Fair to Good after talking to the operations manager, Ken, today.When dealing with Benjamin Franklin you need to understand very clearly that they are a flat rate pricing service. That means they charge the same regardless if it takes 1 hr or 6 hrs to do the job. That being said, they are very good at what they do and hire top notch, courteous, individuals who generally get the job done very quickly. Because of this, their pricing for the job is very expensive when you break it down to an hourly rate.In my particular case I had three relatively simple tasks that needed to be done and and these tasks were rated by the plumber as Level 2, Level 3, and Level 5 respectively according to BF's fixed rate pricing guide. FYI, a L2 job is a certain price, an L3 job is a bit more expensive, L4 is higher and so on. In the end the plumber finished the entire project in just over 2 hrs and billed me $836, which included the Ben Society 15% discount (Ben Society costs an additional $99/yr to join).After I recovered from the sticker shock I paid the bill and decided to follow up with the manager today. He reviewed the invoice and decided to drop the task ratings/charges to Level 1, Level 2, and Level 4 respectively (1 level each task). This, in turn, reduced my total bill down to $611. I still think I could have hired a different plumber to do the job with parts and labor for $300 or so.While the $611 is still pretty steep for the plumbing work I do know that BF stands by their work with a 2 year guarantee and they do quality, fast work. I have no complaints about the actual work done.Please use this example to better understand the way BF does business. If you don't like their upfront, guaranteed quote take your business elsewhere. Doing so, you take the risk that it could cost you more if the job gets complex. But you could also save a bunch of money on relatively simple jobs.

Very unhappy with BFP. They are far to expensive. After charging $1600+ they gave my husband a part to put on the toilet that didn't fit. We had to replace it with the correct one.We will NEVER use them again or will never recommend them to family or friends.After talking to management the problem was resolved.

The website says Call for free estimate. I was told they had to go out to get an estimate and pay a $49 service fee. After the plumber called he said it would be $247 to unplug the drain. He stated that the charge is what the book said. Sounds to me they could've quoted me that price out of the book without the $49 service charge. Looks like my plumbing business will be elsewhere.

Called to request a service, the person took down my information, said someone will contact me, but nobody did, disappointed .

I called on a Sunday to get them out to my folks house when their sewer was backed up. The service tech did show up that day and partially cleaned out some tree roots. He told my folks in order to completely cleaned it out it would be $2700! They got a 2nd opinion from another plumber. He finished cleaning it out for $165.

John was very polite and helpful, he explained everything and answered all of our questions . Very nice young man. I would recommend him highly as an estimator. Heard hissing underneath house. Called ben franklin in the morning at 819am. Melissa picked up and told me there was one call ahead of me but they will get to me today. Disclose $99 trip charge up front. I asked about financing and she told me tech could discuss details. She was pleasant and gave good impression. She calls again at 1106 and says tech is otw. Tech Tim arrives at 1128. Financing is only available for jobs over $1000 abs he said it would be nowhere near that. All prices are preset and printed in a binder. He proceeded to turn off water and entered crawl space and returns because a critter was down there and he was unsure if it was dangerous. He said I may have to call animal control. However he gives it 2 more attempts. The third time I went down too and we managed to chase the critter out, it was only a stray cat. Crawl was flooded from leak but Tim persevered and got us fixed up. I explained the financial burden being just before Xmas, and bfp allowed to pay half now and other half after Xmas. I highly recommend this company.

Absolutely awful! Our hot water heater (5 years old, but guaranteed by Benjamin Franklin Plumbing for 9 years!) went out on late Saturday night and started leaking water all over the bsaement. As a courtesy, we did not call Benjamin Franklin that night, but shut the water off and called at 9:00 Sunday morning. We reached a call center who said that the booking system was down and they could not schedule service. They said they would return my call in one hour. Two hours later, no call, so I called again. Booking system still down, no idea when a plumber could come out (despite 24/7 service advertisements). I called throughout the day, was told I was on the list and someone would be out before 6 p.m. I went to bed at 10:00 p.m. Sunday with still no call even to say, sorry we can't make it out.By 9:00 a.m. Monday, still no call from the plumber, so I called and was told you're on the list and someone will be there today.Horrendous customer service - saying I'm sorry does not make up for the complete lack of customer service! I believe the dispatcher had no intention of calling any plumbers on the weekend and saved paying overtime by simplying giving the line, you're on the list and then never showing up. I would never, never, ever, ever recommend Benjamin Franklin Plumbing to anyone.

Benjamin Franklin is WORTH EVERY PENNY. Responsive, professional & courteous. The tech showed up right on time and gave me no bs info & advice. We had water coming up through our basement toilet (yuck!) and it flooded half of our basement (after normal business hours, of course). Tried calling REDDI - those guys say they're 24 hr service, but was waiting to talk to someone for 40 minutes at 11:30 on a Friday night, even though I was the first caller in line. Left a message, next morning still no call back. Started a chat, no response. Called again, no answer. Decided to give Benjamin Franklin a call (at 7:30 am on a Saturday)- and a real person answered in 30 seconds. They sent a tech out immediately and he arrived right on time! Our tech, Austin was a ROCK STAR! He listened to us, evaluated all of the plumbing, set expectations and got right to work. After he was done, he gave us insight, advice and no bs. Because of his great work and no nonesense communication, we're making these guys our go-to plumbers.

Todd was on time, and actually called ahead to give me a more specific window of when he'd arrive. He did not ring the doorbell as requested (napping kids!), and was able to fix the problem within minutes of his arrival. (Hulk toothbrush down the toilet.) He wore the shoe covers as promised in commercials, and the area was clean when he left. Would definitely use them again!

I was thinking about a tankless water heater and wanted to consult a professional first before deciding whether to head down that road. I called Ben Franklin and explained that I had a few questions, and the operator explained that what we would have to do is make an appointment for a plumber to meet me at my house and they could provide an estimate. And oh yeah, that also costs $50 or $49.50 or whatever the service charge is.I explained again that I just had a few questions that would help me find out some preliminary info, and was told again that the only way I could talk to someone knowledgeable was to make an appointment (and pay a fee).Five minutes of helping me on the phone would have helped me decide which purchase to make and what their recommendation would be, and if they were helpful I would have hired them for the install. That's all it would have taken. I've found other plumbers who are happy to answer a few questions and help me out, so that's who I'll be dealing with.I won't be back to Benjamin Franklin for any plumbing needs.

Brian walked into a horrible mess. the drains had been improperly installed when the house was built. Every time they came out they discovered more things that needed repair. I called Benjamin Franklin Plumbing yesterday as I had a clogged up drain. They arrived on time, were very polite, explained everything in detail and gave me an estimate before they started. Very pleased! Left a message for a service request and they replied promptly and I was able to make an appt for the next day. Technician arrived promptly and work was done in a very efficient manner. Jason was clear and precise and knew what he was doing. He left recommendations on a couple other things he noticed while here, which I appreciated, and gave me a realistic time frame of when they should probably be taken care of.

Josh did a great job. I had a major leak in my basement. Once called they were at the house in 30 minutes. Fortunately the problem was not too difficult, and they were able to replace the pipe and get me back to normal. Will use them in the future.

The technician was able to come earlier then planned which was great. On arrival he was professional and friendly, he answered any questions I had and took time to explain what was going on with my water heater. He advised he could replace some parts but due to the age of my water heater (16yrs old) they might not last long. I appreciate Josh's candor and explanation about what would need to be done with a new installation. Some companies might have done a couple hundred dollars worth of work only for the tank to fail a few months later. Instead I was given an estimate for options for replacement and now know what signs to look for when the tank is getting close to failure

Gus and his awesome team member came out today to fix my washer hook ups. They were really nice and professional. On time? They even called 2 hours before our scheduled time window because a space had opened up. After having a bad experience with another well known plumbing company I was extremely satisfied with Ben Franklin. Thank you!

Tim was out within the hour of calling. He quickly confirmed the need of a replacement pump and proceeded to fix the problem. He even found another issue that we fixed while he was here. Total time from call to Tim finishing and walking out the door was less than 2 hours.

I had to struggle and fight them for 2 days just to get a technician out to my house to figure out why my crawlspace was flooded but then they wanted to charge me $130 dollars just because it was after 5pm! The technician came out and took a glance at our water heater, didnt try to find where the leak was coming from into the crawlspace at all, and tried to upsale me a full house repipe for 8 grand! For as busy as the technician claimed their company was, he certainly wasnt worried about sitting in my house telling me some story about his grandma for 20 minutes instead of doing his job! I called reddi the next day and they came out and only charged me $40 bucks travel cost rather than the $130 after hours charge. Reddi actually diagnosed my problem (a tripped pressure release) and only charged me $1500 to replace my water heater, even stating the repipe was totally unnecessary! Dont use this company! They're all commissioned crooks and are trying to rip you off by selling you stuff you very clearly dont need!

Ben Franklin was great, the tech that came was Ken P. and he made sure to find us several possible solutions when our water tank leaked, especially since the new tanks wouldn't exactly fit where our old one was. They all involved getting a new unit, but he laid out the different water heaters we could choose from, along with their warranty packages, so that we could find one that would work best for us, long term. I am looking forward to endless hot water now, and I'm really happy with the option we chose. I will definitely call them for any other plumbing issues we have!

I called two plumbers when my water heater started leaking all over the floor, and Benjamin Franklin had friendlier customer service reps and could give me a more clear estimate on time of arrival so I chose them.The plumber arrived within about 30 minutes even though it was late in the evening. He was very professional and friendly, and made sure to cover his shoes with booties and lay out a long cloth all along the stairs and hallway so he didn't get the carpet dirty. He took time to explain everything in detail and answer all my questions. He even went above and beyond and helped me with a separate faucet issue I was having without charging me. I was really impressed with his customer service, and I felt like he was very thorough and did a fantastic job.

I have tried to use them several times... They are always INCREDIBLY more expensive than the competition. They try to bait you in with coupons' but all they do is dramatically increase their prices. Someone is trying to pay off their franchise fee fast - on your dime, excuse me, on your C-Notes!

My hot water heater went out on Saturday, and I figured it would probably be Tuesday or Wednesday to get it replaced. (I wasn't going to call on Sunday because it was not that much of an emergency.) I called them Monday morning, and by 2 o'clock that afternoon my new water heater was installed! Tim, the technician, was very professional and explained everything to me in detail. (He even did some repair work on a connection from my furnace/air conditioning unit to the chimney, which was not his responsibility.) I didn't do any cost comparisons with other plumbers, so I can't relate my cost to what others might have charged, but I believe in paying for good service, and not having to worry about getting 2 or 3 other estimates.

Brian and Rudy with Benjamin Franklin went the extra mile today when they ran a gas line in our house for a gas range. The range showed up earlier than expected and they stuck around longer than originally planned to install, level, and test the range. Definitely impressed with the quality of service and character of personnel.

The service Tech Eddie was very friendly and worked quickly. The price to clean the drain between kitchen sink and main line was $230 with a 15% off coupon. I think the price to clean a drain is a little bit expensive.

Greg was fantastic. He gave me the prices on an itemized list before starting on the work so I knew what the money was going to. Even though the work took longer than he thought it would (because of how bad the clog was), the price didn't go up. Definitely will use them again.PSA: Stop flushing wipes down the toilet.

My mother needed her leaky faucet replaced. At an expense of $700 Benjamin Franklin Plumbing installed a new faucet with a year warranty. Immediately after the year was up it began leaking again and now the sprayer is stuck in the on position and she can't use her sink normally. When she asked me to look at it, it was obvious they used the cheapest material possible to replace the faucet. Very disappointed that they would take advantage of someone on a fixed income.

The only complaint is that the technician could have spoken a little more before acting. I had my bathroom sink unclogged and didn't think to move my toothbrushes and things from next to the whole. Needless to say those are trash now.He still did a great job, but just a little more Would you _____ would be nice to keep things cleaner.

If Benjamin Franklin wants to help me fix this problem I will remove this review and make it a positive one.

We had a plumbing issue at our home - septic backing up into a bathroom. I called Benjamin Franklin and they had a technician here within a few hours. Garrett D showed up as scheduled did a fantastic job explaining everything to me, being respectful of my home, and most importantly diagnosing the problem. He also carefully explained all the pricing and made sure all my questions were answered. At this point the problem has been diagnosed and the services needed to fix the issue are scheduled. So far my experience has been fantastic. Hopefully the next step goes as smoothly.Edit- The larger portion of the job was completed by Jeff and Jose and went fine. It involved digging, chipping and putting in a new clean out. Jeff and Jose did a great job and even answers some unrelated questions on other plumbing.

I found that my sump pump was malfunctioning after a good 3-4” rain. The basement was just beginning to become wet. I spoke to Benjamin Franklin and they said they would contact me when they had an available technician. In a little over an hour’s time I heard from Benjamin Franklin. The technician, Jason, was there in no time. He went down the basement, taking care to not dirty the carpet on the way. He immediately sized up the problem and began the repair which required a new pump. In about an hour’s time the pump was installed and operational. Jason was very cordial discussing the pros and cons involved with sump pumps but getting the job done at the same time. His quick and efficient work saved me a big headache. Thanks!

I was late calling Ben Franklin Plumbing but they were so helpful to get me a technician out to my house late in the evening but I felt lucky that they came because everyone else I called could not make it till morning which would of made my mess even larger. They sent Eddie H and he was so helpful to get my sum pump replaced so that no more water could come in my house. Eddie was very professional and gave me all the information I needed to know on my sum pump and other options to think about so that this mess could be prevented in the future.

Friendly, expensive, and extremely inept. They left a bathroom faucet inoperable and told me I needed a whole new faucet. Another plumber quickly replaced the cartridge insert in the handle and it's like new! Then they dug up a drain line in the backyard and only cleaned out one of the two pipes leading to it - had to have another plumber dig it up again and attach the second line they cut through but did not reattach. Stay far, far, away.

The whole staff at Benjamin Franklin Plumbing was very helpful. We talked to Beau and asked for a tech to be sent to our home to give an estimate on a submersible sump pump and a water pressure back-up sump pump. Jay (the tech) came out and explained the procedure he would use to replace our old sump pump and back-up. He explained everything very well and figured up the cost and considered any discounts we might have. He was very careful in installing and testing the unit and was very careful to explain how we were to test the sump pumps every six months. He was able to install these units within the next day and left the house cleaner than when he came. My husband, Jim and I were very pleased with the work done. We had an emergency sewer line blockage on a Sunday. Benjamin Franklin Plumbing was the ONLY company that would come out or even return my call. She said she’d send someone immediately if I was available. Yes!! Please send someone! I’m not sure why the other companies thought our family could just go for a day or two without using water. I guess my point is, don’t advertise that your company does 24 hour emergency calls if you actually don’t. The serviceman from Benjamin Franklin was awesome and honest and walked us through every step of the process as he was going. He was here for a few hours and I know our problem is actually fixed. Septic line was plugged from roots. They came out said they couldn't fix it, needed the line replaced, priced the job around 4,000 dollars. We told him that wasn't in our price range and to try and clear the line. He spent 20 minutes working on it, said that he couldn't clear it and in fact made it worse. He then charged us 150 for the camera and 140 for the 20 minutes he spent trying to clear it.Called Reddi Rooter out. They spent nearly 2 hours clearing the line and it is now cleared completely and working fine for a total of 300 dollars.

John was very professional, arrived on time, and took extra precautions to make sure our home wouldn't get damaged or even dirty. He was knowledgeable enough to diagnose the problem over the phone, then confirmed his assessment when he arrived and quickly made the necessary repairs. We wouldn't use anyone else in the Wichita area, Ben Franklin is the best!

When I called they on a Saturday afternoon they didn’t have anybody available for Saturday evening and promised to send somebody in Sunday morning. To my surprise they sent somebody Saturday evening and my problem was solved to my satisfaction.Josh was very professional and he explained everything very clearly to me.

She told me upfront there would be a $29.00 call out charge. Within 30 minutes Garrett showed up. He was so friendly and knowledgeable. He was cleanly dressed and had awesome clean, wavy hair. I appreciated the fact, he put down a mat in front of my sink when he worked. Within no time, he had my sink and dishwasher running again. We had a leak in our hot water heater that we discovered early Christmas Eve morning and we called Benjamin Franklin Plumbing to come out and see what they could do. We were in a tight spot because we were leaving town the day after Christmas and had some friends housesitting for us so having the water heater replaced was something that had to be done before we left. 2 hours and more than $1,800 later we had a new 6 year 50 gallon hot water heater (we were quoted over $2,100 for a 10 year 50 gallon hot water heater). After a couple of hours I went down to make sure everything was ok in the basement where the hot water heater is and found water leaking out of one of the pipes they installed above the heater. An hour or so later someone showed up and fixed the leak at least but after talking to people and telling them how much we paid I feel like we were totally taken to the cleaners. I will never use this business again and will actively spread my story in whatever avenue I can.

Was able to get service the day I called, which was important because my toilet was rendered useless until they arrived. Their club is a good deal if you're home is more than 5 years old and you'll be in the area for awhile.

The biggest compliment that I can share is Josh’s willing to work late. We had an appointment the following day, but he made time to come out the day that we placed the call and made the appointment. He also rerouted the gas lines to the water heater and our furnace so that any future work that needed to be accomplished on the water heater would be easier for the next technician. We called Benjamin Franklin and made a last ditch effort to see if they could send someone out today to help. They were able to get a technician out same day and only in about 2 hours after the initial call. Tim came out and he was absolutely amazing! He listened to the concerns we had and throughly looked over out main drain layout. He was very friendly, polite, professional, and clean! Leak occurred on a Sunday evening - not ideal timing but are plumbing problems ever? Called and they said when technician was done on the call he was on, he would be sent out. About 1 1/2 hrs later he was at our doorstep. Eddie was very professional and friendly. Knew exactly what he was doing, found the leak and fixed it in short order. He cleaned up the mess and was done. He gave us a recommendation for someone to fix the drywall that was damaged too. I'd highly recommend him.

We bought our home several months ago, and wanted to have the Instant Water Heater serviced before winter. This company was available the next business day, and they called to tell me a serviceman was on the way. Ken was polite, professional, and even gave me an estimate for the kitchen sink disposal the same day. Will def use them again.

Beware of Benjamin Franklin Plumbing. I will never use them again.We purchased a loyalty service contract with Benjamin Franklin Plumbing, in hopes that it would be a cost-saving feature.Although they offer a 10% discount on SOME fees, their inflated rates and prices for equipment far outweigh the benefit.After being given a third overpriced estimate and a bait-and-switch offer in less than two years, I’m done. The money we spent, and they refuse to refund for the service contract, is the LAST money I’ll ever give to Benjamin Franklin Plumbing.

I must say that Benjamin plumbing is a great business. With My my wife passing away just days ago. And My financial situation being totally broke they did not hesitate to stop talking about money and got right to work. Robert was evert good with the job every sympathetic.

There was an error in installation before, and Ken came out and tried two or three different solutions, always keeping me informed. We settled on the best one and he got the work done. Everything was nice and neat and clean

We've used them in the past and were satisfied with their service and cost until now. Asked them out to replace a kitchen faucet because our sprayer hose which supplied all the water (one of those where the sprayer hose is also the main tap) was leaking. We bought the faucet, they wanted to charge over $270 for the new installation. Spoke to manager and only option was to pay price or just the $30 fee for them coming out. Needless to say paid the $30 fee and said no more and that this review was going to be posted on social media.

Found a soggy carpet in the basement. Had a pipe leak where the water comes into the house. I called these guys and they sent Josh out very quickly. Had to do an After hours service call on a Sunday night in sub freezing weather. The tech was on call and came from his home. He was very professional and respectful and never once complained about the weather or the time of night. My water heater is on the brinks and the warranty company wanted me to wait 10 days for a technician to come out to diagnose the problem! Seriously?? I called Benjamin Franklin Plumbing and they fit me in that day!.... needless to say I still have to deal with the warranty company for repairs/replacement, but you can be sure I’ll use Benjamin Franklin Plumbing for all my plumbing needs, and hopefully the warranty company will approve them doing the work!

Time set was 0800, but I got the call at 0800 that the technician is leaving the facility. Technician was very professional and explained what needed to be done per city code. Overall satisfied with the work being done, but not so pleased on the price that I paid.

First off the tech was at least 40 minutes late. Then he was unable to repair my issue but charged me 547.00 anyway. Then gave me an estimate that was nearly twice what three companies quoted.

They did a good job and was there when they said they would be. They explained everything before they did it and when they ran into a problem let me know what the options were. The price seemed a little high but it is worth it for the quality of work done.

Hired to fix water leaking. Came in evaluated the situation and decided it was a ring in the bottom of the toilet. Did the repair and water still leaked when they left. Issued wasn't related to toilet at all. Had a vacuum pump come out drain sewer and what do you know that was the issue. Shady guys coming in and selling you repairs you don't actually need.

Technician was slow! Took around 2 hours to replace garbage disposer. It's not technician's fault, but the price for parts and service through your company is OUTRAGEOUS! I looked up the cost for other companies to do this service, and it was consistently about ONE THIRD of what Benjamin Franklin Plumbing charged me. In order to register the disposer with the insinkerator company, I needed the serial number for the device and could not find it. Eventually, I found it UNDER THE BENJAMIN FRANLIN sticker! Rediculous! I will never use your company again.

Benjamin Franklin Plumbing was great. Their staff is polite and helpful from their call staff, manager, and service technician. Their technician Tim came out and diagnosed oir problem and was able to repair the same day. They let you know the pricing of each step of the process. Tim showed me all the work he completed. I found our showers and toilets backing up @ 1030 at night. Garrett Davis showed up promptly and was clean, professional, courteous, and knowledgeable. Garrett examined the premises, quickly made a suggestion as to the likely issue being a main sewer line clog and went to work. He was upfront with pricing and explained what he would be doing exactly before starting anything. Garrett had every running smoothly within an hour or so. He double checked all drains and even replaced a clogged flexible p-trap with a new rigid one before leaving. Great job Garrett and thanks again.

Gus came in and fixed my faucet for my hose in the back. Came in and did a great job and was super friendly and knowledgeable. And my dogs liked him so that's always a good thing!

We used Benjamin Franklin Plumbing when we lost hot water supply to one of our bathrooms. Colton- came out and had to trouble shoot and find where the issue was located because the prior installer did not do a very good job. He was able to find the issue- which turned out to be a fluke clog in the water line and repaired and replaced the prior company's less than professional installation. Five Stars!

Horrible company to deal with. I called them to set up an appointment and there were two options. A $99 charge to have them come out last night, or a $29 charge to have them come out today. He said the appointment was set and everything was good. I come to find out today that this is a standby appointment. I was told nothing about it being a standby appointment, if he would have notified me I would have just paid the extra money.edit: after writing this review i got a call for a technician being available in my area. upgrading to 3 stars from 1.edit #2: The plumbers that came out to the house did an excellent job and were very knowledgeable. upgrading from 3 stars to 4.

I called Benjamin Franklin for sump pump repair after my basement flooded. I am sometimes reluctant to call a large franchise company not knowing who I will get, but had good luck with them in the past, and I knew they would come with a stocked truck making the repair efficient. This visit was equally good as in the past or better. Jaime M. was a fabulously friendly, conscientious (booties are appreciated) and competent plumber. He pleasantly addressed the problem and gave me several options to consider. I could not have been more pleased with his service and professionalism.

My waterheater was not heating. I called and they fit me right in. The dispatcher told me it was still under warranty no cost! Jason, my tech was super friendly and replaced the part and noticed I was due for a flushing and performed that service also. Great Job!

Water was leaking out of a pipe coming out of the water heater. Benjamin Franklin came about an hour after I called. Told me what the problem was and how much it would cost. Fixed the leak and gave me information about the water heater. Excellent experience. I would use them again.

I've recently replaced my hot water heater with this company. My service technician Jay was a complete professional!! Needed roots cleaned out of our sewer line. (a reoccurring issue) The tech arrived when expected, listened to my needs and took care of the issue at hand promptly. He was friendly, knowledgeable and professional.Although the price was a bit more than I've paid before for the same service, it was a weekend and after hour job, so I expected to pay more for it.

Jose came to our home to install a new sump pumps. He explained the various types of horsepower as well as the new backup sump pumps clearly. He was neat, knowledgeable and did a very nice install.the back up installer, Jay, came explained the whole process of what he would be doing. He explained how the water backup sump pump would work. He cleaned up and left everything nice and neat. Will call again

Tyler was very professional, he was able to answer all our questions. He went out of his way to try and calm our stresses. He also told us about the benefits of being a member and we were sold! We will definitely ask for Tyler personally when we need help.

The first technician that came out was very unsatisfactory. The second one that came out, Josh, did a fantastic job fixing what the first one messed up. He was highly qualified, very professional and worked until he had everything working as it should.

The Benjamin Franklin team gave us an excellent experience during a not so excellent situation. We had an underground pipe leaking into the basement. We did have to wait over the weekend for a technician to come out. Friday they were all booked and we chose not to pay the emergency service fee for them to come out over the weekend. ON Monday, John told us what was going on and was able to go over all our options. He was clear and took the time to answer any questions I had. Very knowledgeable. Prices were reasonable for the situation, but no matter what, when a leak happens you’re bound to pay a pretty penny. We had to wait 3 days for them to come out and dig. Seems like all plumbing companies are backed up so we weren’t surprised. I can’t remember the gentleman who dug the trench, maybe Ari? (sp?), and another gentleman came out and they explained the trench digging process. They did a wonderful job only moving dirt and pavers that needed to be moved. They were able to replace the pipe at the wall of our house quickly and efficiently. They then were able to put everything back where it was. It didn’t even look like things had been moved in our landscaping except there were obvious tractor marks on the lawn from the digger, which is inevitable. We’ll done, and thank you for your professionalism! I would highly recommend.

Ari was a great diagnostitician. We proved what wasn't the problem. Now, I need to go another route to figure what's wrong.But, that knowledge was obtained with minimal testing and without unnecessary work and expense.

This was for our annual hot water heater service and to perform a full house inspection of our water pipes and toilets. While he was here we asked him about our outdoor faucets that we had a couple of concerns about. Jason arrived Saturday evening after my mother called for an emergency plumber from Benjamin Franklin plumbing. We had water overflowing from basement toilet and shower. (I was visiting my mother with my daughter to run a race in Wichita.) He was kind and patient with my 87 year old mother from the start. We were possibly facing an expensive repair in the sewer, but Jason kept at it even when his first camera couldn’t get though to see situation. Jason returned Sunday and fortunately was able to use a camera successfully to evaluate and repair the line. All in all we have been thrilled to meet such a kind, professional, caring individual in our time of crisis! Thanks to Jason -the best plumber in Kansas!!!

I was stuck at work when my brother called to tell me our main sewer wouldn't drain. Called Benjamin Franklin on a Saturday and they had the plumber onsite within 3 hours. Repair was quick and he was great at explaining everything we needed to do since we uncovered a larger problem. Got an estimate, and hoping to get the big job scheduled soon! Matthew was great and extremely patient with me as I was still at work trying to juggle his call with my customers.

Tim was just about the best we could have hoped for considering the circumstances. He came out late at night, diagnosed the problem, and was very informative as he performed his work. The drain which had been backing up in our shower had the pressure released and then he used a different machine to punch through the item that caused the clog. He gave us a few quotes to fix the problem on a long term basis, but until then we are more aware of things to do to keep this from happening again. Would highly recommend Tim!

I had a main line sewer clog that emerged at 10pm on a Saturday. They had Josh out to my house within 20 minutes of the call. He was very professional and knowledgeable and walked me through the anticipated costs and the problem before hand. Once he cleared the clog (tree roots), he also had me watch the camera go through the main line so I could be assured that the problem was taken care of. I also found out that previous plumbers had charged me for more line than was actually necessary!He talked about the option of replacing the line that has some cracks in it but was also clear that he didn’t think it was necessary at this time. I’m very happy with his knowledge and professionalism.

Had them come out to get a quote. Should've known they'd be high after trying to charge $30 just for a quote. They are the only ones I called that didn't offer free quotes. Technician was fine, no problems there. But the price! Wow, didn't expect that! 3 times higher than the other companys I had come out and look. I wouldn't waste time here. Bowers plumbing is the best price I've found and even offered to perform more work.

Our sewage began backing up in our bathtubs, toilets, and sinks.As soon as we called Ben Franklin Plumbing they had an extremely professional expert to our home within a couple hours to diagnose the issue and begin looking into our options to complete a total sewer replacement/clean out due to 70 years of aging and broken clay pipes due to roots growing into our lines.Unfortunately, our Home warranty company with Cinch Home Services found a loophole in our policy where they were not willing to cover any repairs outside of our foundation and left us with a bill that would cost thousands just before the Holidays.
