Best Residential Drain in Boston MA

I called for a neighbor whose main drain clogged on the last day of the year. They sent over a technician who didn't know how to open the main drain pipe...and said they'd send someone more expert two days later!
A total contrast to prior experiences, which is why I nonetheless gave 2* - but for this visit, not even deserving of one.

I was with out heat and the guys came quickly had everything up in running again. Saved my pipes from bursting! I would highly recommend them to anyone

White's Installed my gas heating system ten years ago. If there ever is an issue (and any issue is with my old radiators, not the furnace) they return my call very quickly. Have recommended this company several times (as a Realtor) and everyone has been pleased!

Just had them come out to fix our hose! On time, friendly, and did a wonderful job. Pricing was less than expected!! We will absolutely use them in the future.

Drew and his team replaced our furnace this winter including converting from oil to natural gas. The project involved removing old radiators and installing baseboards throughout our home. Drew was responsive in coming out when our furnace died and provided us with all of the options and information we needed in order to make the best decision. His team was professional and accommodating towards our family. We would use him again for future projects and would highly recommend him to others!

Power Plumbing was really responsive via text! They came within a week for a non-emergency shower fix and dryer vent cleaning. Helped me identify part I needed which I was able to order ahead of their arrival. They did the job well, but ultimately overcharged me. Good quality work though

They were very friendly on the phone when i called to set up the service call. Elvis was quick and knowlegable when he diagnosed the problem and very quick with the repair. The only thing is very overpriced! Charged $784 to install an $84 part no tools needed done in 5 minutes..I guess I received the Covid-19 rate....

I just happened to come across Tony on a Google search when my hot water heater went and I'm very glad I did. I called mid morning and by early afternoon they were at my house ready to go. I really appreciated the text updates the whole day of when he would be arriving, when he was a few minutes out and so forth. I didn't have to sit at home the whole day waiting and wondering when they would arrive because he kept me totally posted. Tony and his partner were quick to identify the problem and remedy it. They removed the old tank and replaced it in no time and was very efficient and professional. Quality of work was excellent and so was his price. I plan on using him for other plumbing work in the near future. I'm comfortable recommending him to my friends and family as hey I got a guy who does all plumbing work and doesn't ripp you off.

Our Boston row house suffered a damaged sewer pipe (lateral -perpendicular to street).
We consulted about 1/2 dozen contractors based upon the BWSC's list of bonded companies.

A number of the companies really diagnosed the situation poorly. They came by, took a quick peak, and left. A couple companies scoped (camera) the pipe but still came up with inappropriate or incomplete plans to fix the problem.

Tico and his crew spent far longer analyzing the situation. They came up with a straight forward and complete plan. The price was on the lower end of all the quotes we received.

On the scheduled repair day, they arrived on time and got to work. They performed like a well oiled machine. The excavations, new pipe, and covering up of the dig sites moved forward efficiently. The BWSC inspector had no issues with their work. Tico even blew dust off of cars parked in the vicinity!

Yeah, initially we had difficulty contacting Hercules and getting a reply. And yes the job itself was scheduled on short notice. But IMO, you gotta be nuts to hire anyone else for this kind of job.

The employee who came to look at our plumbing needs conducted himself courteously and did a quick assessment. He recommended a solution we were not previously aware of; he was available to answer our questions over the next two days. After researching his recommendation with an outside consultant (our contractor) we decided to get Winters do the job. We got a follow-up visit and were able to get job scheduled quickly and we look forward to its completion.UPDATE to earlier review added February 7, 2019. Reduced number of stars to 3.1. Installation was done promptly but after one week we discovered a problem. One of the two apartments became unbearably hot, due to constant circulation of hot water. We’re waiting for Winters to correct this by installing a circulator.2. The work order included a complimentary repair of Apt 1 kitchen sink hose. The young plumber (the sales person) did not diagnose the problem correctly, thus causing a delay in getting the right part. In the end he was not able to do the repair. Though he was polite and pleasant with me, he was rude with my husband.,Based on these problems I GIVE WINTERS 3 STARS.

They take advantage of you if you are in a fix. My water heater broke and called them to replace it on a Saturday. They came replaced the heater took the old one back.
GE Water heater with same warranty (6 yrs) costs $425 in Home depot. They charged my tenant $2250 plus $ 375 for coming on Saturday.
When confronted I was told that they used better water heater which costs $1100. That means I was still charged $1400 for installation ($350 an hour )
He agreed to refund me the overcharged amount and sent me a Big check of $100. Which was promptly returned to him.
Isn't it day time robbery ? Never use them if you don't want to be robbed.
