This was a new experience for my father’s home and once Shayla picked up the phone she made me feel comfortable with a sense that I was in good hands. Tico and his crew arrived in less than 30 minutes after I placed the first the call and thoroughly inspected where was the issue with the sewer lateral pipe break and identified it; as another company in Boston provided my father wrong info on the lateral break. Tico,Brandon along with everyone on his crew were so amazing and professional. They got the job done in a few hours! Many people I’ve spoken to have also said many excellent things about this company. I would absolutely give this company more than 5 stars if I could and plan on calling them again in the future from now on!!

Hercules arrived to identify a drain obstruction in a former gutter connection that went into the City storm drain. They connected their high pressure jet to no avail, and then a special ball-headed nozzle, again to no avail. Well I guess it didn't work: $325. And when asked, they didn't pump out the obstructed water or their jet water that further flooded the drywell. I had to go to Home Depot and buy a pump.

Our Boston row house suffered a damaged sewer pipe (lateral -perpendicular to street).
We consulted about 1/2 dozen contractors based upon the BWSC's list of bonded companies.

A number of the companies really diagnosed the situation poorly. They came by, took a quick peak, and left. A couple companies scoped (camera) the pipe but still came up with inappropriate or incomplete plans to fix the problem.

Tico and his crew spent far longer analyzing the situation. They came up with a straight forward and complete plan. The price was on the lower end of all the quotes we received.

On the scheduled repair day, they arrived on time and got to work. They performed like a well oiled machine. The excavations, new pipe, and covering up of the dig sites moved forward efficiently. The BWSC inspector had no issues with their work. Tico even blew dust off of cars parked in the vicinity!

Yeah, initially we had difficulty contacting Hercules and getting a reply. And yes the job itself was scheduled on short notice. But IMO, you gotta be nuts to hire anyone else for this kind of job.

I am so happy I found these guys. Tico and his team were honest and respectful. I initially called Boston Drain (their google SEO is much higher) and after a quick pipe scope Boston Drain said my house trap needed to be removed for $3500-$4000.

I then found Hercules to take a look at the situation to get a 2nd opinion and after cleaning out all the muck realized it was a simple clog due to some construction material in the house trap. They took out the materal tested the drain and it worked great!

Herculues just saved me ~$3500!!

Tico also spent an extra 30-40 min figuring out other non drain related plumbing questions I had.

Instead of just selling me on a big job, they were honest and got it done for what needed to be done. No greed and honest work. They are a rare find and I've worked with many contractors. I will be using them in the future and referring them to all my contacts moving forward! Thanks Tico and crew!
