Great service my water heater had decided to die on me and flood my basement and of course it was on a holiday weekend i tried to get 3 other Co.'s to come out and help me with my poorly timed dilemma yiannis was the only one who was willing to come right over to help he had it replaced in no time and i even had him back after the holidays to service my hvac system.

Mike McMahon and his crew are very decent and do their 100% best to do a great job for their customers. They are our go to saviors keeping a 120 year old house going. If you hire them, you are hiring the best.

Anthony is my plumber that I call for any plumbing issue. I've had to use his service twice over the past couple of years and he does great work. He responds right away, is very professional, honest, reasonably priced and does clean up the work space after the job is finished. Five star rating for his excellent work. I highly recommend his service.

Called Pann for help diagnosing and repairing a ceiling leak in late summer 2021.

First response was prompt, and leak was diagnosed the next day. It however took 2 weeks for the leak to then be repaired. This was understandable given the importance of having the right tradesman available to solve the issue.

Since the original work in September 2021, the primary issue has been pace of scheduling. It can be difficult to schedule follow up visits to get the work fully completed. Initial calls to the office did not always result in follow ups. They have worked hard to fit me in on short notice, but the lack of predictability is challenging.

Once in touch with my actual technician, the work has gotten done well.

I recommend having either a long timeline or high flexibility in your availability if trying to fix a similar issue.

Colin came out to perform our biannual preventive maintenance and cleaning of our HVAC systems, and he was excellent! Very kind, pleasant, professional, efficient, and informative. He inspected all components of our system, explained how it works and how to optimize performance, and then performed a very thorough cleaning. It was a pleasure having Colin working in our home, and Winters made the scheduling process easy with their reliable and friendly communication.

Tony from Boston Plumbing was prompt, courteous, and knowledgeable about the issue, and he provided a thorough explanation of the steps he would take to fix our shower and faucet. Rate was very reasonable, and he was trustworthy, both of which are becoming rare in the service indusTony.

This is by far the sleaziest operation in town. Came over to snake the drain, blew a hole in our pipes and then charged me 1200$ To fix his mistake as water poured through the floors into the basement. Put me in a situation where I had no choice but to agree to this price. What a JOKE! Avoid them at all costs, many many other options out there.

I have been using Barrell for years. It's a great plumbing company and I highly recommend them. They come when you need them, their prices are good and they have an excellent workforce. We recently had a major issue that had me in tears. Long story short, we had to replace our main sewer line. Joe Barrell personally came out to examine the issue. A work plan was put in place and carried out in a timely and efficient manner, including coordination with the excavation company they work with. Communication was excellent throughout and they made an extremely stressful and disruptive process much more bearable. They did the work in stages which allowed my tenants and I to continue using water, flushing, etc. Rusty, the man who replaced my pipe, was wonderful as was Joe. I will always be a customer. AlphaOmega Plumbing did a great job. They had a very nice and friendly staff that fixed our furnace and our AC unit for us! They worked fast and gave a good deal. Definitely better than my past experiences. Now I have someone I can trust!

My house had a furnace breakdown on a cold, stormy night earlier this week and Akian Plumbing was there for immediate help. Phil made himself available on the same day after hour and diagnosed the system very quickly. Unfortunately, it turned out that my old furnace needed to be replaced but Bobby and Antonio, Akian's another experienced plumbers, made a smooth transition to a new heating system efficiently. All of Akian's staffs I worked with were very polite, professional, and arrived on time and working in a pleasant manner. As a returning customer, I highly recommend Akian Plumbing for your Plumbing/ HVAC issues and recommend that their service will definitely be worth every penny.

Given your previous reviews, please take the time to consider your answers. They definitely come off the wrong way and aren't inviting or welcoming. I understand it can be frustrating to get forwarded a job request on a quote but customers are still interested on any estimate they get. I thought it was me reading the tone a certain way by your response, but after seeing your reviews there is a pattern. Why start with 'We don't do cheap projects' ... and then suggesting what I can look up online' understand that perhaps that is exactly what the customer is doing ( due diligence) and doesn't need suggestions on how they sort through estimates. All you have to do is provide the quote, and feel confident on what your company provides. Please take the time to consider approaching yelp inquiries differently.
