Tom is one of most the skilled and effective contractors I have ever worked with. (I am an architect and licensed builder with twenty plus years of experience.) I have worked with Tom for the past two years and his company has expertly completed several very complicated jobs. The work included providing water lines, drainage lines and gas lines to locations that did not have these lines. Each required identifying complicated routes running through finished, occupied, space. His company has responded to service calls for bathrooms, heating systems and sprinkler systems. His service calls are timely and he is very good at trouble shooting and solving problems. Tom is a very direct communicator and easy to work with. He is very knowledgeable and will say he has to research something if he is not 100% sure of the answer. Velocity Plumbing and Heating is one of a few few contractors that I can say with certainty will always aim to provide the best possible job, at competitive rates.

Our heating system started blowing cold air so we called our usual plumber (who also does heating), but never received a return call after 24 hours. During that time period we also called someone else who was very highly rated and also never received a returned call. I then called Aquaflow who had some great reviews as well and Vincent called me back in about 45 minutes. He told me he could come out the next morning which was great and he even showed up exactly when he estimated that he would! He was very thorough and extremely knowledgeable and told me every thing he was checking out to diagnose the problem. Within a couple of hours the part that failed was replaced and I had heat again. I very much appreciate his quick response and the quality of work provided, especially during some 30 degree days in March. It's not fun to wake up to your house being 49 degrees, but thanks to Vincent we will be waking up much warmer tomorrow morning!

Joe is really great about answering his phone right when you call or getting back to you immediately. When I first moved into my home in Quincy, Joe came out within the first week to install a desperately needed new hot water heater. I've used him ever since, including one morning when I realized my heat wasn't working and it was 20 degrees outside. He was at my house within a few hours and was able to ID the problem in just minutes. Joe is very reliable and just a genuinely nice guy. Highly recommend!
