I reached out to Narrow Way to help with the plumbing of a kitchen remodel. I spoke to Mary who was very cheerful and promptly helped me set up an appointment. They sent me Mario to take a look at the work and he was very helpful in his recommendations. He never followed up with the actual pricing, even though he called me to tell me he would.
Fast forward a few days, I call and speak to Mary again who prompts Mario to call me with pricing. We spoke and committed to a date and time of when they’d complete what was needed.
This is where it goes downhill. When it came time to actually get the work done, they sent Steve who showed up an hour late (without reaching out to let me know that). When he showed up to do the work, he was inside looking at things etc. He me that he needed to leave to go get a part. When he came back, he informed me that his supervisor advised him to stop the work because there were unexpected things (based on pictures he sent in) and that the quote they gave me wasn’t enough to cover the work and they needed to bill me by hour instead. So 2 hours in, nothing was accomplished. They insisted that another supervisor needed to come out and assess the situation which happened on a Friday afternoon. After this supervisor’s visit, I was told that I’d have an appointment for the following day, Saturday at 7:30 AM. I get a call from Jose at 8 AM to let me know that he won’t be able to come until 10 AM because he’s dispatched to an emergency. 2 hours later and he still no showed.
Backdrop to all this is that I had to arrange for other parties to be there (contractor to install cabinets after plumbing is done) along with an electrician to hook up the dishwasher. Due to their flakiness and lack of commitment to their word, I had to pay everyone for 2 days worth of work for nothing being completed. Even though they present a good front when comes to talking, they lack the professionalism and substance to be reliable to actually get the work done - which is what matters in the service world.

We had a lot of plumbing work to be done recently. I am very happy that I have found Velocity. Tom and his team did a fantastic job setting up my new full bathroom. They also installed new boilers and toilets, fixed radiators and gave me good advice on how to save money on heating. He does the job so responsibly and with such attention to every little detail, it's a real pleasure to see when the job is done. Everything is always clean after the work is finished. Tom is very honest, responsible and professional with lots of experience. He keeps his word, always comes on time. Tom, thank you for everything you've done for me this year. Extremely satisfied with service. I called about a clogged tub drain in the afternoon and Matt was here the following morning. Friendly and professional, he first took a look at the pipes and tub trap from the basement to see if there was any visible problem. We have old pipes in our house so I appreciated him being up front that the process to clear them out may cause them to leak if they are already in rough shape (our pipes were already dripping from time to time). With that he quickly got to work and successfully cleared out the drain, and then immediately checked the basement to see if there was any leaking down there following this. There wasn’t and the tub drains like new. Very thorough, explained things clearly, I would definitely recommend. Thank you Matt!

They take advantage of you if you are in a fix. My water heater broke and called them to replace it on a Saturday. They came replaced the heater took the old one back.
GE Water heater with same warranty (6 yrs) costs $425 in Home depot. They charged my tenant $2250 plus $ 375 for coming on Saturday.
When confronted I was told that they used better water heater which costs $1100. That means I was still charged $1400 for installation ($350 an hour )
He agreed to refund me the overcharged amount and sent me a Big check of $100. Which was promptly returned to him.
Isn't it day time robbery ? Never use them if you don't want to be robbed.
