Ron H. dimensioned it and Scott V. installed a high-efficiency, no boiler, combo heat-hot water system that unencumbered my basement and save $$$. Professional service, with courtesy, well thought and attending to the demands of the homeowner (me). I just have to thank them for helping me in the 21st century of home appliances.

I think Mike and Scott did a great job. My kitchen sink was clogged very badly but they were able to trace the drain to the main line and clear it out. I'm glad he was able to solve it. They also replaced my water valves in the bathroom and fixed my loose toilet.

The only issue that prevented me giving 5 stars was that at the end the bill was not itemized.
Didn't know how the final total was calculated so it did not allow me to check for any mistakes at the time of payment.

Chilli Willie are the best! They take pride both in being extremely knowledgeable about HVAC technology and in doing high quality work, and are very professional and responsive. I first met one of the co-owners, Jared, about 15 years ago when he was working for another HVAC company and fixing a banging steam heating system in an apartment I was renting. I was so impressed by how knowledgeable he was and his willingness to take the time to explain what was going on and to actually fix a difficult problem that when I bought my own house I searched until I found him and Chilli Willie and hired them to install gas service, including a gas dryer and an outdoor firepit. Jared, Steve, and the several employees who assisted them did a fantastic job! I'm planning to have them come back this summer to replace an oil-fired boiler with a new gas boiler.

We have had Akian help us out three times. Once for an emergency water heater replacement, once for replacing a faucet for a tenant, and once for replacing a disposal. In all cases, they were quick to respond, and provided excellent service. In the once case where there was a communication problem, Akian was quick to clarify and help us to make sure our work had the proper warranty. I recommend Akian highly.

So, we all know plumbing emergencies alway happen on holiday weekends, right? Of course! We lost our hot water Friday night. Spent hours Sat leaving messages with answering services, waiting for callbacks.. UNTIL we found Jay at Aaron Plumbing, who ACTUALLY PICKED UP THE PHONE and asked detailed questions about our situation. He and his father came out the next day and took care of us. That's the bottom line: they were responsive, and took care of us. Highly recommended.

Barrell Plumbing is the worst service provider I have ever encountered. The receptionist is so rude and unprofessional. She slammed the phone while I was trying to explain to her that I never received any confirmation of appointment, so they should not charge me as there was never an agreement of order. I got not only excellent services from another provider, but also email confirmation and introduction of the team that would be working on my order. I received further email follow up from that provider to ensure I was satisfied with their service. It's like day and night compared to what I got from Barrell: rude receptionists (a woman and a man), no confirmation of appointment, $165 bill for dispatch fee and labor charge while they did not perform any services. I don't know how they can live with themselves charging people for nothing.

They charged me $500 for an estimate that was double what it cost for someone else to do the job...stay away from them!
