They came on time, were professional, friendly and respectful and did an amazing job removing my (gross) disposal and putting in a really nice new one. It is working great. Wonderful experience so I wanted to share.

i think they did a good job but it too too expensive from the service fees to the labour charge .so try to buy the part yourself rather than they buy for you and they charge you too much for the parts and read the review and compare with the other companies before you hire them ,this is my first and last to hire them and never ever refer anyone because of the expensive.

Colin came out to perform our biannual preventive maintenance and cleaning of our HVAC systems, and he was excellent! Very kind, pleasant, professional, efficient, and informative. He inspected all components of our system, explained how it works and how to optimize performance, and then performed a very thorough cleaning. It was a pleasure having Colin working in our home, and Winters made the scheduling process easy with their reliable and friendly communication.

A woman at this place so assist me without with the tankless water heater very very system I do recommend this company though for any of water heating needs they get learned about a rebate for a different different things and be able to tell me about the date on the bottom for my water heater

Boston Standard Company parks their van on the sidewalk. This is illegal, dangerous, and disrespectful behavior. They prefer to destroy public infrastructure and force pedestrians to walk in the street, rather than walk 50 feet from a real parking space to their work site. If you don’t know how to park, you should not be driving. I would never invite these people into my home.Edit: Their response below -- with no apology and no indication that they will make any changes in the future -- shows that they stand by this illegal, dangerous behavior. If this is how they park, just imagine the kinds of corner-cutting they are willing to do to your plumbing!

Truly grateful for this crew. My 22 year old HVAC went out right as it was getting really cold. I did have a few folks evaluate the old unit. I did speak to multiple companies and I did get multiple quotes for a new one - which was the recommendation across the board. I had a lot of questions. I’m that person with all the questions. We had Silco install a new furnace and AC in 2016, and it was the worst decision I have ever made as a homeowner. They made beginner mistakes with the installation, like removing copper when stripping wires resulting in an intermittent connection they had to return to fix. Then they replaced leaked coolant twice before they figured out they installed a faulty unit from the start - but Silco still charged me $400 for the work, despite the inconvenience of several service calls and the fact that we had no AC for the whole summer. Now, in 2020, I find out that they failed to install a filter holder as the installation directions clearly say to do. They expected us to put the filter directly inside the furnace cabinet instead (see photo) which is difficult, unsafe, and makes the filter not work properly. We are going to have to pay a lot to have a filter holder retrofitted.
Not sure if they don't know better, can't read, or just don't care, but stay away from Silco Plumbing. Oh, and they leave their empty soda cans for you to pick up.
