T-Flow really helped me out when I was in a pinch. My water heater broke and was leaking water everywhere - Matt's team was at my place within 2 hours of me calling them. I am in a small condo that has 3 flights of stairs and they managed to switch out the water heaters, install the new one and deal with getting them up and down the stairs. I will definitely be calling them for any plumbing needs in the future.

I was pleasantly surprised with my experience with Advantage III. I called on a Monday morning, they picked up right away and were very friendly. I was able to get an appointment the next day to look at a water leak I was having in the basement. The plumbers came and identified and fixed the issue within an hour and a half and they were very nice and seemed to be very knowledgeable. Would recommend!

We recently remodeled our kitchen and Metro Boston Plumbing redid the plumbing for the sink, dishwasher, and fridge. Ernie did great work and was really good to work with. When we converted a fireplace to gas just recently, Ernie did great work adding the gas line. I can certainly recommend this business and they will be my first call for any plumbing needs we have in the future.

Since I bought my house in 2009, Vaughan Install a water Heater for us. It has been working perfectly for 12 years until the time it needs to be replaced. No problem at all. Again Vaughan just did installed a new one last month. So, since 2009, We always used Vaughan services for Bathroom shower, faucet, all types of leaking, pipe repair and fire place gas leak repair. I called South End Plumbing to see if they could replace two water heaters in a 3-family building as soon as possible. I spoke to Patrick on the phone. I described the features that were important to me and he suggested one that I thought was great, exactly what I was looking for. They said they would be here by 6pm with two water heaters to install. They called at 5:50pm to say they were running late and would be there in an hour. They arrived at 7:30. Patrick was angry and said he should have charged me more. I showed him where the water heaters would go and he said he would do it, and it would be about three hours. The brand name on the water heater they brought in was not the brand name we had talked about on the phone. When we asked about that, they said they were honest plumbers and would not stand by and be called cheats, and they put the water heater back on the hand truck and started wheeling it away. I said tell me about this water heater -- maybe it has the features we discussed -- and I went to look at it but one of them stood between me and the water heater and said you're not going to see any of the numbers on this thing and they wheeled it out. On the way out they were rude to a neighbor who was just trying to get up the steps to his home. They both seemed very angry at me because they were here late in the evening, even though I only agreed to all the times they suggested. And nobody accused them of being cheats -- maybe the model they brought met all the requirements we discussed -- though I'd say it's kind of suspicious that they wouldn't even let me look at it after they had brought it into my basement.

It only goes up to 5 stars but Gilbert deserves 20 stars for the service he gave and helped my grandmother tremendously, he worked extremely hard for his money today and I appreciate him for it and the nice conversations we were having.

Summary: They charged me $760 for work that should’ve cost no more than $250.Long version: This was the first time I’ve had a boiler serviced so I had no idea what to expect. I’m originally from Florida. During my mass save inspection, the boiler didn’t turn on. Worried I may be without heat during the winter, I called Boston standard because of the good reviews I read online and they were close by.They charge $99 just to show up without doing any work. I had already taken the day off so I let them proceed.They cleaned my boiler and replaced the igniter. To me it sounded like a big job. They charged $294 for the cleaning and $367 to replace the igniter.Seemed like a lot but I didn’t know any better. After talking with my realtor and some of my colleagues, they were shocked that I paid so much. They often pay $180-$250 for a cleaning and replacing the igniter (a $10-$15 part) is often included in a yearly service.On top of it, I had to call in another HVAC contractor recommended to me to do some more work on the boiler. He pointed out to me all of the short comings of the job Boston Standard. The boiler was still filthy, the tubes weren’t even removed to be cleaned. They used a 24” igniter instead of 48” and installed in a lazy way above the tubes instead of under. They told me I had to replace a 4” damper when I have 5”.Do your research. These people over charge for minimal effort.

Just awfull they when to a clients house of mine and disconnected everything to the furnace and told her she needed a new one and quoted her saying it would be around $10,000.00 when the unit itself only costs under $1000.00 so she had a different company come in and with in 2 hours they had it working o and she is an elderly woman they are scam artist and they should be shut down
