Best Water Heater Repair in Washington DC

I had a huge leak from my bathtub and this company came and was able to find the leak right away and communicated very well on how to fix it and all the necessary information. Then fixed it for me at a reasonable price. I would highly recommend this company and will use them soon again.

Our situation:

A pipe burst in our house, I called three plumbers that were quoting emergency premiums, even though I explained I didn't need someone out ASAP and the water was off, so it wasn't an emergency. I called Kesterson Plumbing and they told me someone would be out in the afternoon or evening, depending on other projects---Dan arrives early ( before noon) and immediately tackles our problem. He attempts the most cost effective, least damaging route to get to the pipe and leaves our house spotless. He explains the whole process to me at the end and goes through everything he did, also mentioning some preventative measures we can take to protect against this happening again. Dan is obviously a master tradesman and a complete professional. The total bill was less than the other plumbers were charging for their emergency fee. Bottom line: Master tradesman and fair prices, something that is hard to find. Thanks Dan and you will continue to have our business Kesterson Plumbing!

Kevin came to look at some water pressure issues that we'd been having. He was absolutely brilliant, super helpful and talked me through and showed me what had been causing the issues. I was anticipating that I'd have to rip out walls to solve the problem, but he was able to do solve everything without such drastic action. Kevin has 35 years experience, so has clearly seen just about everything. Would highly recommend!

Convenient, Affordable , Experienced

As a private person and a Realtor, I have been very happy with Maurice's (aka Mr. Super Plumber) work. He has rescued me when my AC was out on a hot Friday night when I couldn't find anyone else who would come AND he didn't overcharge me. Maurice is conscientious and honest and is my go-to guy.

I contracted with Al's Twin Air to get a sewer line camera inspection and sewer pipe location service performed. From the office administration staff to the service personnel I was extremely satisfied with the company's professionalism, customer service and helpfulness. All of my interactions were positive and the staff graciously answered all of my questions and earned my business. The service personnel answered a number of specific technical questions I had so that I knew exactly what I could expect on the service date. In addition, on the service date the technicians gave me, in addition executing the service, a wealth of in-depth knowledge about residential plumbing, HVAC and water systems. In fact, much of the information they generously offered extended far beyond the specific nature of the service call. In all, the customer service experience was fantastic and the information the service personnel shared has made me a much more competent and well-informed homeowner. I was very satisfied with the service.

I usually do not write reviews that much but this one needs to be shared. MK plumbing was assigned to me by my warranty company as there was a leak in the water heater and water was seeping to below apartment closet. Due to this my housing association COMPLETELY turned off the water for my unit as there was no other way around.
Technician (Mohammad) came to look at the issue and took few pictures. I made him aware that there is no water in the unit and we are taking showers and using restroom in community gym, which is very dangerous especially in this COVID-19 pandemic.

Technician assured me that he will submit the required report to warranty company as soon as possible to start the tank replacement process but after that there was no communication from him. No response to call/texts/emails etc. Even my warranty company tried reaching out to him and same thing no response due to all this I had to spent almost 5 days without water which made me vulnerable to deadly virus.

With any kind of job professionalism is required and we have a duty to respond to our customer, especially in the case when you can't execute the task.

I never got to see the work but if you are looking to work with someone professional I will NEVER recommend MK Plumbing. Please choose wisely.

My new faucet worked really well. They check if the hot/ cold water was running and for leakage etc before leaving. Great and excellent customer service and I will use again in the future.

I’ve gone to Durance Plumbing for all of our plumbing needs over the past 10 years in two different houses. They are by far the most professional, provide the best value and perform the best work. Kirk and Adam are the most honest plumbers you will ever encounter. We just had to have a new hot water heater replaced and decided to get several quotes. We had an issue with our Navien tankless water that our original contractor could not figure out for months. Navien recommended Charles and Sons. Frederick arrived promptly, diagnosed the problem immediately and fixed that day with parts he already had in his van. They clearly are knowledgeable and experienced, and very professional. Highly recommend!
