Best Water in Washington DC

There was a gas leak in my stove gas line. I called #1DMV Plumbing and Dwayne was there within the hour. He turned off the gas then came back to replaced the line the next morning. He was responsive and professional.

Mr. Jenkins was very professional, efficient, tidy, & accomodating of his schedule to respond to my last minute need for an appointment. He the followed up on scheduled appointment time.

Absolutely amazing customer service! On a rainy Sunday afternoon, our shower decided to start spraying water everywhere. Concerned and having to turn our water off to prevent even more damage, we decided to call Affordable Plumbing and Gas. Our call was answered quickly and Brian was over same-day (within two hours of the first call!) with the needed parts. He even took the time to review the photos we sent and stopped at the store to ensure he had what he needed to fix the problem. Brian was incredibly helpful, responsive, and honest. He took a stressful situation and turned it into a positive one. He truly saved the day and gave us peace of mind. Absolutely give them a call!

Our situation:

A pipe burst in our house, I called three plumbers that were quoting emergency premiums, even though I explained I didn't need someone out ASAP and the water was off, so it wasn't an emergency. I called Kesterson Plumbing and they told me someone would be out in the afternoon or evening, depending on other projects---Dan arrives early ( before noon) and immediately tackles our problem. He attempts the most cost effective, least damaging route to get to the pipe and leaves our house spotless. He explains the whole process to me at the end and goes through everything he did, also mentioning some preventative measures we can take to protect against this happening again. Dan is obviously a master tradesman and a complete professional. The total bill was less than the other plumbers were charging for their emergency fee. Bottom line: Master tradesman and fair prices, something that is hard to find. Thanks Dan and you will continue to have our business Kesterson Plumbing!

We're renters, and whenever we've need help with a plumbing issue, we've used DH Stevens, and they're always quick to provide great service. Haven't run into any issues with them missing appointment windows, and scheduling has always been relatively easy.

Convenient, Affordable , Experienced

Called On-Call tech at 6am to take care of emergency plumbing, and the tech immediately responded. The On-Call tech showed up within minutes of my location in Virginia. The Tech was even mindful to take his shoes off before entering the space! The tech took care of the issue by locating the shut off valve, which I would have never found, turned off the water which had been running for hours to avoid any flooding issues. The Tech provided courteous service and was very professional in resolving the issue which included providing any parts to complete the task. I highly recommend Mr. Super Plumber who provided fast and courteous service. My water bill would have been astronomical. Great Job! By: Larry B.

Sorry but I was very disappointed with the service and price.

My main complaint is that they didn’t fix the problem and didn’t even do what they said they were going to do to try to fix it.

Beyond that, the price was absurd. They charged $120 for materials for maybe $5 worth of duct sealant (and didn’t even use enough to seal the ducts!)

They charged 12 hours of labor at $90 an hour, but the guys were here for about 2.5 hours, and most of that time was spent waiting for another guy to bring over duct sealant. I called and pointed this out and they reduced it to 6 hours of labor.

They were on-time, very nice, easy to make an appointment. I just don’t know what I got for $800.

I can't say enough good things about this plumber in my neighborhood. They are the best in town when it comes to cleaning drains.

My new faucet worked really well. They check if the hot/ cold water was running and for leakage etc before leaving. Great and excellent customer service and I will use again in the future.

Adam at Durance Plumbing is HIGHLY recommended. I can't thank him enough for coming at a short notice to fix my main water pipes. He also inspected the plumbing for my bathroom renovation. He is reliable and very knowledgeable. Great rates and excellent service. I most certainly will use Adam again for future plumbing issues!

Charles or Fred or Frederick whatever he wants to be called that day...Oh and his team came into my apt and messed my stuff up. He and his team are not professional at all!!! They did not clean up after themselves, broke my George Foreman grill (did not replace or apologize), and did not properly install my tub/shower. I do not recommend him to anybody at all. I would not hire him to build and/or even fix a doll house!!
Hire at your OWN risk!!!! Oh and if you do be prepared to clean up after them!!!! NOT PROFESSIONAL
