I have had Swanson's Plumbing do work for me previously and have been more than pleased with their work. I have also referred Tim to friends who also thought the work was done in a timely, professional, cost effective manner and would use Swanson's again in a heartbeat. I had quite a leak at my water meter this morning. I called requesting service - Tim was going to be driving by my house on his way to a big job so he stopped on his way by (this was at 6:35 AM)and repaired my leak. He charged parts and labor but no emergency fee. I highly suggest calling Swanson's Plumbing for all your plumbing needs!

I wish to provide some very positive feedback for Angelo Vassallo, the proprietor of Affordable Plumbing of Oro Valley:

Angelo has displayed a very high degree of honesty and integrity in an industry which does not always live up to those standards.

The very first time I called him, even though he was in the middle of a job, Angelo immediately answered his phone and not only took the time to diagnose the plumbing issue I described, but he also gave me an estimate right on the spot. What made it truly amazing is that his estimate (and what he ultimately charged me) was $100 (parts and labor); the next closest estimate was $250 for the same exact job. I even got one at over $300.

At that point, I knew I was dealing with a fair and honest man. But, even better, he made time in his schedule to repair the leak that same afternoon. No one else even attempted to provide that level of service. He not only showed up on time as promised, he also called me while on his way to confirm the appointment time.

Angelo did not charge any fee to evaluate the problem as two other plumbers had said they would - charging up to $75. He also has only a very modest charge of $40 for his van and equipment, regardless of the size of the job.

Best of all - when he did the repair initially - there was still a very tiny residual leak, which I had no concern about at all. However, he was not about to let that slip by. He started all over, redid the job using a different washer and when finished, it was perfectly dry! (Don’t you wish you could find someone like this in every repair trade out there?)

In summary, I want to provide the strongest recommendation I possibly can for Angelo Vassallo and Affordable Plumbing of Oro Valley.

Jack and Fred were very knowledgeable, quick, and efficient. They explained what they were going to do, and told me the cost up front. Will definitely recommend to friends.

Technician came out and was very informative of what he thought the problem was. Once he was done he explained what was found and cleared the clog in the pipes. They are also very reasonably priced. I will definitely use them again if I have any planning issues.

After a really poor and unprofessional performance by another big plumbing outfit here in town that wasted a couple days of our time and got us nowhere we called Sampson plumbing to help with a somewhat distressing plumbing problem we were having at one of our rentals – seemingly random times in the morning water looked like it was “seeping up” through the tile floor in one of the bedrooms and it didn’t smell great. Not good. We figured a sewer line had busted or the like and some very bad news was coming our way. Glenn showed up early after calling to see if we could meet him ahead of schedule and immediately started testing things out to narrow the problem down and quickly found that the problem stemmed from the sink drain in another unit in the building – leaking behind the masonry wall (behind a drywall skin) and ending up in another tenant’s floor – short version he cut into the wall, found the leaking pipe section and replaced it quickly and at a very reasonable price. Wish we would have started with Sampson Plumbing, it would have saved a few days of stress and unhappy tenants. They’ll definitely be our go-to plumbing outfit for all our properties here in town moving forward.

When my hot water heater died, I checked internet for reviews of plumbers. Affordable Plumbing is highly rated by reviewers, so I called them. Angelo, the owner, asked for information about my hot water heater and when I described it he explained that the controller probably was defective and that I could either replace the controller or the complete hot water heater, and the price for each. He and his assistant arrived promptly and they efficiently replaced the hot water heater and explained how to operate it, for a very reasonable price. If there were 10 stars on this rating I would rate Affordable Plumbing 10 stars! I will definitely call them for my future plumbing needs.
