Affordable Plumbing

My water heater had probably leaked a couple days and I just realized it Tuesday night. I called and Angelo answered, prompting 2 questions. Who responds 24 hours a day, and who answers their own phone? We set an appointment for the next day when I could be around to see what was going on. Angelo and another capable fellow (sorry I missed his name) showed up ON TIME and they had a new heater installed quickly. While here, I had them replace a pressure regulator that was probably bad for years. Great job all around.

My overall experience was great! This plumber was on time, had all the needed equipment and fixed my problem in under an hour. He is very professional and reasonably priced.

We had a shower/tub faucet leaking. Rick from Affordable Plumming said he would be here at 9am Monday. He was here at 8:57. The worst scenario was the valve in the wall would have to be replaced. He would either have to remove tiles or cut a whole in the drywall on the other side. Then we would have to pay someone else to come repair the tiles or the wall. When he looked at it he realized it wasn't the valve in the wall but was the tub spout leaking. Rick went and got a new spout and that was that. Sweet and simple. We were very thankful he was honest and didn't RIP us off. He said they don't don't believe in taking money that's not necessary because they work ONLY by word of mouth. We value that kind of honesty and highly recommend Affordable Plumming. Rick was great.

We’ve had not so great experiences with two plumbers since we moved here two years ago, so we were hoping to find one to keep on speed dial. Affordable plumbing lived up to all their great reviews! They came out and couldn’t unclog out toilet; said there was calcium buildup from hard water and it was time for a new one. Didn’t even charge for that visit. We bought a new toilet and within two days, they were out to install it. Seamless experiences both times around and incredibly affordable pricing, they don’t gouge “because of the area,” which we’ve been told multiple times before by other businesses. They’re the best! Thank you!

As always it's shower time and the kid's tub backs up! I run and rent a sewer tool from a local hardware store and spend an hour trying to clear the clog with no luck. Affordable Plumbing was recommended to me so I call them up and in no time Angelo is in my yard clearing my line. Once the line was cleared he was even able to run a camera to show me the problem areas... I will definitely call them back out when I'm ready to repair that sewer line! Thanks!!

Angelo of Affordable Plumbing solved a problem with our water heater that two other plumbers failed to do. Not only did he immediately recognize the problem but he provided us with information to purchase the exact device needed to solve the problem in the future. The device was easily programmable so we could DYI. He could have easily profited by selling us the device and charge for installation but clearly is too honest to take advantage of seniors or any customer. Angelo is easy to talk to and we felt comfortable with him in our home. We have tried several plumbers that service Dove Mountain but we believe Angelo and Affordable Plumbing is the best of the lot. Affordable Plumbing will be our go to plumber in the future.

I set an appointment with Angelo for Saturday morning at 9 a.m. He arrived promptly, and went to work immediately. One of the items had the potential to become a Pandora's Box. His recommendation was to wait until it became a true issue rather than to open the box. I really appreciated his approach, allowing me to be part of the conversation. I can plan for a larger expense when the issue does occur further down the road. He repaired the valves in my shower, and replaced screens in 3 of the sinks in my home. He also suggested that I had the water heater set much higher than it needed to be, and it could be turned down which will save me money! Speaking of money, he was very fair in his pricing. He is a partner in your plumbing issues, and I will most definitely use his services again.

These guys are fantastic, got out to my home within a couple hours and located my main sewer line clean-out T with a camera with builtin locator, cleaned out the roots in the line and added a riser to my clean-out so it's no longer buried. Gave me a few requested pics off the the cam's SD card and marked in my yard where the problem was. Great fair price and now I finally know where the dang clean-out is located!

Called Angelo based on reviews online. He wasn't able to come out that day, but gave me a couple numbers to call to get me up and running until our appointment that we made for the following weekend. When he came out, he got all the roots cleaned out that were an issue for over a year, and gave advice on how to keep the roots away. I've already recommended this company to several friends and family should they need a plumber in the future.

Angelo at Affordable Plumbing is awesome! They were able to get to the job quickly and were friendly, efficient and cleaned up before leaving. The server was well priced. Also he advised on another potential problem and suggested a solution to help save additional money. Will definitely use them again!

Had them come out on a Saturday to check out a whistling sound that was coming from our wall. When they came out it was determined to be a regulator that was causing it. Which is what they thought when I spoke on the phone with Angelo. Unfortuantely due to the company that built my home the pipe was larger than the size should be for my size of house. Instead of coming out again he tried to adjust the pressure on the regulator to stop the noise. It worked and gave us recommendations if it came again as well as didn't charge us alot to do that. I highly recommend them and have posted to our community webpage recommending that if any other homeowner should need service to use them.

Ed Martinez came by and did a great job hooking up my new sink. Price was very reasonable.

Angelo came to my house within four hours. He explained what he was doing, why he was doing it and how he was fixing it. Angelo showed me the part that needed to be replaced, in addition, he educated me on not showering my dogs inside. His price was affordable and his professionalism appreciated.

I have used Affordable Plumbing 3 times in the last year because of leaks in PolyB piping. Angelo has fixed the leaks in a timely manner each time and the last time he came out on a Sunday evening because he was booked with work the next day. I highly recommend Angelo and Affordable Plumbing. His prices are affordable as he advertises. He even reformatted his bills to meet the needs of my insurance company estimators requirements.

I tried to unclog my kitchen drain myself and finally gave up. When the plumber came out he explained to me that the reason I wasn't getting anywhere was that it was full of grease from many years of buildup. After he pressure washed it the difference was unbelievable. Now I am much more conscientious of what goes down the drain. It hasn't drained like this in years. Good service, good price. Hats off to these guys.

I cannot recommend this company enough. They came out on time and addressed our problems right away. He was friendly and non-judgmental as we have experienced with other companies. He installed two shower cartridges to fix a leaky shower faucet and fixed our toilets that we’re running often. The cost was incredibly reasonable compared to other estimates we had received and I would consider them a fair and honest company. We will be using them in the future.

I was away on business when my wife noticed a leak in our bathroom ceiling. It was 11 pm and she called Affordable Plumbing. Angelo came right over and had the leak fixed within the hour! It was so great to know that my family was taken care of while I was out of town. He is a reliable, prompt,friendly, professional and truly an affordable plumber. I know , it sounds to good to be true and for once it isn't!! In fact, we had another issue, I called him and AGAIN he provided the same AMAZING service. I can't tell you how much I love these guys. I had tenants without hot water for five days because of a mold remediation company who removed it and balked at reinstalling it even after I told them, Just do it. I would pay for it. This was after they sent out a plumber the previous night that was willing to charge me $250 for a small fraction of the entire project. Affordable Plumbing completed the entire project for just a little more. What a relief for me and, most importantly, my tenants.
If I could sing, I'd find a hilltop and sing their praises. Just know they will provide you with superior service and deal with you in a fair and respectful manner.
I don't review for simply good service, so, sadly, I don't review often.

I LOVE THIS COMPANY! Angelo is the BEST and has only the best people working for him. The moment you talk to Angelo, you KNOW. My house, built in 1950's, has the plumbing IN the foundation. So when I had a leak about 3 ft. from outside my house,for the 2nd time since 5 years before, Angelo & Rick came out to assess. Angelo came up with a plan to replace water line to street, and reroute water line coming into house to my Water Softener hook-up in my laundry room. They started the next morning with Ben, 2nd day w/Ben & Marty, and 3rd day w/Ben finishing up. What a job!! What a crew!! Ben is so courteous & cleaned up EVERYTHING....couldn't even tell that he had been there except for his perfect workmanship. Ben & Marty had 2 jack hammers going the 2nd day to lay the new water line out to the street, and it was this past summer....HOT outside! I was so happy & proud of the job they had done; happy with the results and the cost & so proud to refer Affordable Plumbing to everyone I know! Thank you, Angelo, Rick, Ben, & Marty! We bought a new refrigerator with an ice/water dispenser. The people that delivered the refrigerator hooked up the water line but couldn't get the water flowing. I called Affordable Plumbing. David H. came out and had the water flowing and the dispenser working in about 5 minutes. Best of all, he didn't even charge me for the visit!! This is the fourth time I've used Affordable Plumbing. Their work has always been top notch; their staff always knowledgeable, professional, and friendly; and their prices always very reasonable. I highly recommend Affordable Plumbing and will definitely use them again.

Called them out to remove an old water softener that was not working and had become an eye sore. The work was complete quickly and for less than the estimate I was given. They even repaired the pipes that the softener was attached to so that you couldn't tell it was ever there. Overall, very impressed with this company.

Good name for this company. They provide good service with good price.

Had Affordable Plumbing out to our house on two different occasions. One was for some custom copper pipe work, and another time for a new main shut off replacement and hose bib install.

Angelo answered our call on a Sunday (Valentine's Day no less) and was here within 45 minutes to fix a valve that wouldn't shut off and a leak in shower. Old fixtures were not a problem for him. Very professional, was very knowledgeable, and very affordable! Would definitely recommend and give 10 stars if an option! If you're looking for an honest plumber, (not to mention a genuinely nice guy) you can't go wrong with Affordable Plumbing. We will definitely use again if needed!

Angelo at Affordable Plumbing is the best plumber I've found in 31 years of living in Tucson. He is knowledgeable, thorough, and reliable. He did a great job trouble shooting on the phone, arrived exactly when he promised, had all the appropriate equipment, and worked to solve the problem. He also gave me excellent advise on how to care for my old house's plumbing and septic system. It would be hard to go back to using any other plumber.

I called Affordable Plumbing for a number of small projects that needed to be fixed. Angelo was very pleasant, and said that it would be no problem. He arrived exactly when he said he would. These guys came out to our rental property to fix a shower that was not delivering cold-water. They were prompt. They had parts with them. They diagnosed and fixed the problem in under an hour. They were clean!

Sounded like a leak in the wall at 10 at night! We shut the water and called Affordable. Angelo returned my call as soon as he got to work next morning. Ben, his assistant, came out that afternoon. They scheduled us as quickly as they could. Angelo and Ben came out right on time, found the leak and fixed it quickly (on a Sunday morning!) and at a fair price. They were great. If I could give them ten stars, I would.

This company goes above and beyond. They had Marty come out on a Saturday to give me a quote for a new hot water heater and a separate leak. The prices were reasonable and Marty was very personable. They were able to schedule me right away and Marty the tech also answered all my questions. I am the type of person to have a lot of them. He even went out of his way to show me how to turn off the gas in an emergency(I have never lived in a home with gas so I didn't know). I can't say enough good things about this company.

I called this place to ask a plumbing question. I wasn't sure if I needed the city or a plumber? I was rudely told not to call back for advise. Affordable Plumbing may have a reputation with the previous reviews for doing GREAT work, but the nasty attitude & customer service I received over the phone, far outweighs calling these folks again! You better be sure you need a plumber before you call Affordable Plumbing. These folks don't have time to answer questions, unless you hire them. Affordable Plumbing wants your money, not your return & word of mouth business. They charge $40 just to drive to your house. I had to leave at least one star to produce this rating. To be honest, Affordable Plumbing doesn't deserve the generous 1 star rating that I had to give them.

My son had used this company privately for his house so when we had issues at our apartment complex we called them up. Just like Andrew's experience they were prompt, polite, and the cost was very competitive. We have used them twice, once for a sewer issue and once for a fresh water leak- they will definitely receive our call when the need arises in the future!

In town visiting my in-laws and their hot water heater had been out for a couple of days. Another plumber called and mentioned it would be several days to get parts or he could install a new hot water as he said theirs was on it's last legs being 6 years old. Decided to give Affordable Plumbing a call as they have received great reviews. We called in the morning and someone arrived early evening around 6, as they had said they would. We got lucky as he said he just happened to have the part he needed on the truck and was able to repair the water heater today. He did mention they may need to look into a new one as there is a component on theirs that fails and he's seen it regularly in the area. He didn't make a hard push for a new sale, just mentioned it was something to keep an eye on. We asked ballpark for an estimate on the price of a replacement heater and he quoted a price $350 below the other plumber. When this water heater goes my in-laws will definitely be calling Affordable to handle installation of the new water heater.

Angelo was able to get Marco out and fix the water line going into my 70's slump block wall within a couple hours and they cleaned up the concrete/block that had to be removed to get to the leak. I then had another leak pop up and Marco was able to get out and let me know what was going on and will be able to fix it once it is found under the concrete deck. I appreciate that they are honest and don't give one quote to later bump it up and they are very thorough in their explanations of the job. I would definitely recommend them and will use them for all my plumbing issues going forward.

Angelo provided next-day scheduling and Marty was extremely prompt, professional, and provided quality workmanship for a very fair price. I was very pleased with their service and will use them again in the future.

Sunday evening our daughter decided to help clean up and proceeded to pack about a half of a roll of paper towels down our bathroom sink. This backed up the kitchen as well. I was sure our entire drain system would to have to be re-plumbed. And tomorrow morning would be a disaster to say the least. I called Affordable just because I thought they might get one fixed, or at least tell me when they could and how much it would cost? A.J. was there like lightning and got them both going without replacing but one old rotten trap. Needless to say Monday I woke with a smile on my face !!!

I called on Monday morning for a plumber, I was promised an appointment in the afternoon, the owner sent mark he arived in the early afternoon, mark very quickly found the problem made the repair and was finished within the hour, we'll done, although I'm on a fixed income i think the price was very reasonable. Angelo went above and beyond in helping us with our plumbing issue. He came out after business hours to fix a leak and even fixed another unrelated plumbing issue while he was here. His prices were very reasonable. I will be calling Angelo for any plumbing issues in the future.

Angelo was prompt and able to help me within the hour. I was in a bind with my drains completely clogged, I needed someone fast. He showed up 15 minutes early and was done with the job in an hour and a half. Very affordable and easy to work with. I'll definitely use Affordable Plumbing again.

Angelo saved me from a $1200 repair on a backwater valve that another company wouldn't attempt to fix without digging up 4 feet of earth first. He was able to extract and replace the valve for less than 20% of the cost of the other companies' quote! I won't use any other plumber in Tucson from now on.

This was my first experience with Affordable Plumbing and it was a great experience. I believe my plumber today was Harry and upon arrival he first outlined all of the costs to ensure I was ok with it and addressed any potential concerns that might add on additional costs. Once he removed my toilet he was able to update me that everything was looking good and there would be no additional costs. He finished in a quick and timely manner. Everything was left looking clean and very nice. I will definitely use Affordable Plumbing again in the future.

Angelo has always talked through solutions our plumbing issues. He usually has Sergio out for us and he has done a wonderfyl and detailed job.

This service and Angelo are amazing. We recently had a problem with one of the toilets backing up that progressed to water coming up in the shower. We are on a septic system. We called affordable plumbing and Angelo answered after hours which we much appreciated. He was very knowledgeable and gave us some ideas on what the problem could be. The crew came out the next morning and presto problem fixed. I cannot recommend this company and Angelo enough and will be using them for future situations that may arise. Just had a leak in my main house waterling. They came out and found the Landscapers caused a major issue 10 years ago when they tapped into the main copper line and then installed galvanized fitting. This created electrolysis which causes the pipes to eat away at each other. The plumber came out and spent hours having to replace the main lines ball valve and doing major plumbing through an outer concrete wall. This type of major repair had us wondering if we could afford the bill? We picked Affordable based on the Yelp reviews. And we were very pleased atd happy with the price and the top quality of the work done. We definitely highly recommend this company for any plumbing need you have as they certainly live up to their name...Affordable!

Angelo was great! He was very responsive to my initial phone calls and texts, arrived on time, and did a great job. He was very thorough about explaining the risks in some of the repairs he needed to make, and executed those repairs competently. He was also very nice friendly with my dog. Highly recommended!

I had a complete back up for the entire house and Angelo (owner of Affordable Plumbing) responded within a hour on a early Saturday morning. He took care of the problem and showed me on his camera what exactly the problem was and how he corrected it. I was impressed with him and his service and would highly recommend him.
