Affordable Plumbing is a plumber that we highly recommend! We had an emergency, found them on line and Angelo answered the phone and told us exactly when they could come to our home. Once there, their diagnosis was right on the money and they explained everything to us that was needed and made recommendations for the future. Angelo and Rick are true professionals. Affordable Plumbing's pricing was also very reasonable (and it was after 5:00 pm when they completed the work). We would highly recommend them to our Buyers and Sellers!! Thanks Angelo!

Last Tuesday, I walked into my bedroom and SQUISH, SQUISH, SQUISH!!!!!. My entire bathroom and bedroom was completely covered in 2 inches of water. YIKES!!!! I ran and turned off the water and immediately called Affordable Plumbing. Angelo, the owner, was here within 2 hours, found the leak& fixed it! What a relief! No worrying about if and when we would have water for doing the simple thing we take for granted like showers and flushing toilets! This is the SECOND TIME we have used him and his service and his pricing are AMAZING!! We are thinking of re-plumbing our house...guess who we will be calling... :)

Angelo is amazing and provided top-of-the-line in-the-moment service. I bought a new DW from Best Buy and it was installed yesterday afternoon (Sat). We woke up Sunday to a large and growing puddle of water in our kitchen and family room and I was desperate for help. After talking to 7 different people/departments at BB and getting a commitment for a visit on Thursday (in five days), I searched for help. Mr. Rooter wouldn't be able to make it until tomorrow. After finding them on the internet, I left Affordable Plumbing a message (even though he was listed as closed for the day) and Angelo called back in less than 10 minutes. He walked me through what I needed to do to stop the flow of water and was here at the house 20 minutes after that. The immediate problem was identified and solved within the half hour and I had clear instructions and a proper referral regarding what to do next to ensure there's no water damage to counters and floors. I felt served and supported and the contrast between Angelo's response time, ability and demeanor and the others my son's and I contacted earlier couldn't have been more different. I have already hired Angelo and his team to address an aging water heater and pump issue before it becomes a problem and feel safe, served and supported, confident that he will be an amazing asset going forward as well. Thank you, Angelo, for focusing on solving the problem and doing it with calm and confidence instead of telling me all the reasons why you can't help me, which is what everyone at Best Buy did - no one there even apologized, by the way, and the problem was caused by operator error on installation. It's nice to know that there are master craftsmen and trades people out there who are trustworthy, take pride in their work, and care about their customers. After experiencing a six-fold increase in our monthly water usage to over 39,000 gallons—with no pool, spa or obvious leaks—we started calling plumbers. Began by asking friends for recommendations which led to a couple contacts; both of which said they were too busy but “knew a guy that . . .” While waiting for call-backs that never came, we decided to visit Google and there Affordable was near the top. We found the website very informative and user-friendly; and discovered they serviced our area in Catalina. Our first call resulted in a prompt visit the same day. Affordable’s owner Angelo, and capable sidekick Rick, quickly located and repaired a massive leak under our home. They also repaired a nagging leak I had attempted to fix in one of our showers, replaced a broken hose bib and installed a missing hot water shut-off valve near our water heater. All their work was completed swiftly, professionally and at a more than reasonable cost. We would wholeheartedly recommend Affordable Plumbing for any plumbing needs. As the sign on their truck declares, “IMAGINE THAT! AFFORDABLE PLUMBING!”

I looked for a plumber on Google, Angie’s, etc to install a hot water circulator and decided to go with Affordable. I called and received a reasonable quote from Angelo. Once Rick arrived, due to the age of our hot water heater (24 years old), Rick suggested we replace it, otherwise he may be out again in near future to replace it due to it finally giving out. Why pay me for installing the circulator and then come back again to replace both the hot water heater and transferring the hot water circulator. I appreciated the suggestion and agreed to buying and replacing it with a new more efficient HW heater (reasonable price). Rick came back a week later and replaced the HW heater, installed the HW circulator and replaced a spigot in the backyard that was rusting away. Rick was very professional and knowledgeable about house plumbing. Also, I want to compliment Angelo who owns Affordable. He too consulted me about the HW circulator and potential of it not working the way I expected. Again, I appreciated his knowledge.

When all said and done, I am very please with the HW heater, HW circulator and new spigot. Rick did a wonderful job!!! PLUS, the HW circulator thankfully works just as I expected and hope to save a bunch of money in the long run.

I would hire Affordable again for any future repair or replacement.

Rick, showed up on time, did the job (Kitchen Sink Drain Replacement) and it took less than a 1/2 an hour. Great job. Fair price. They are now my plunbers of choice if I ever need one.

Angelo sent Rigo out to replace 7 valves on sinks and toilets, some were leaking badly. Rigo was on time and did a great job! They do a great job and are very reasonable on cost

I wish to provide some very positive feedback for Angelo Vassallo, the proprietor of Affordable Plumbing of Oro Valley:

Angelo has displayed a very high degree of honesty and integrity in an industry which does not always live up to those standards.

The very first time I called him, even though he was in the middle of a job, Angelo immediately answered his phone and not only took the time to diagnose the plumbing issue I described, but he also gave me an estimate right on the spot. What made it truly amazing is that his estimate (and what he ultimately charged me) was $100 (parts and labor); the next closest estimate was $250 for the same exact job. I even got one at over $300.

At that point, I knew I was dealing with a fair and honest man. But, even better, he made time in his schedule to repair the leak that same afternoon. No one else even attempted to provide that level of service. He not only showed up on time as promised, he also called me while on his way to confirm the appointment time.

Angelo did not charge any fee to evaluate the problem as two other plumbers had said they would - charging up to $75. He also has only a very modest charge of $40 for his van and equipment, regardless of the size of the job.

Best of all - when he did the repair initially - there was still a very tiny residual leak, which I had no concern about at all. However, he was not about to let that slip by. He started all over, redid the job using a different washer and when finished, it was perfectly dry! (Don’t you wish you could find someone like this in every repair trade out there?)

In summary, I want to provide the strongest recommendation I possibly can for Angelo Vassallo and Affordable Plumbing of Oro Valley.

Angelo was very professional. He showed up when he said he was going to be there and fixed the drain problems. We have used him several different times. I also bought an antique facet for my son's sink and Angelo worked with me to get it the way we wanted it.

Affordable Plumbing recently replaced all of the polybutylene plumbing in our 1995 home. Angello and crew (Mark, Rick, and Dave) were personable, efficient, dependable and left us each day with a clean house and running water for the night. They used their ingenuity to make as few cuts in the walls as possible. They were always on time and worked with our schedule needs. Best of all Affordable Plumbing is affordable. They earned their 5 stars.

Finding a good plumbing service is a bit of a minefield. We recently had a serious leak on a rental home - right before Christmas of course, - the first bid we got was minimum 5k - not liking the quote, nor the lack of diagnosis done to back it up we decided to call Affordable plumbing. Long story short - problem was diagnosed properly and taken care of swiftly and efficiently at a very reasonable price, but with a high degree of workmanship.

Excellent service, professional, and honest. They were able to make the repair for $150 dollars under the original bid.
