Marco Barreda & his assistant, Marco, really helped us out with a not-so-fun situation. Professional, extremely prompt and they did great work. I called the Rite Way office on Monday morning after my partner and I woke up to a flooded garage. I was grateful to speak to a really friendly voice on the other end (thanks whoever that was!) and within the hour Marco and Marco arrived to diagnose the problem--a water heater that had failed, no fun! These two certainly made a stressful situation a bit less painful. By lunchtime the water heater had been replaced and we were back in business. We were very impressed at how quickly it all got taken care of. They also simultaneously diagnosed & fixed a leaky and running toilet. In hindsight the price on the fill valve replacement seemed quite high (they originally quoted $700...what?! >.<) and that second repair is probably something we should've just addressed ourselves. They also fixed a leaky outdoor spigot by showing us where something just needed to be tightened, which was lovely of them. Overall, we are very grateful for the prompt, same-day, excellent service and we're glad we called Rite Way. Big thanks to Marco and Marco--those two are awesome! :)

I signed up to get our furnace/air conditioners checked and cleaned. The technician showed up on time. The servicing of our three units took less than an hour. He recommended replacing two capacitors and install three surge protectors. He also tried to get me to purchase a membership. This would total around $4,500 and he would waive the $283 service call he was there for. After briefly fainting, I asked how mush without the membership. Two capacitors and three surge protectors would be around $3,500. Whew!I ended up replacing one fuse that he broke while checking out my heat pump system and installed a surge protector. All for $1,100.I’m no expert but I think their pricing sucks.

I was highly satisfied with this company and their customer service. My air conditioner stopped working over the weekend, and my Home Owner’s Warranty paired me up with Desert Star. They called me first thing Monday morning and had a technician here by 10 am. He diagnosed the issue quickly, but because of the age of my unit, did not have all the parts on hand to fix it immediately. He was back quickly and had everything up and running within an hour. He was polite and professional, and he answered all of my questions. Again, I was highly satisfied with Desert Star, and I would definitely hire them again and recommend their services.
