The lady who answers the phone needs to learn some customer service.

I called this company after hours for a drain issue, and told him that though it was draining at the time of my call, I would have him snake it anyway. He was extremely polite and said he would send someone out for a few of 125.00. I was delighted! He sent a tech out who looked at the drain and ran water through the drain and said it seemed to be working and it was up to me, at which time I said “since you’re going to charge me either way, go ahead and do it”. The tech said “no, I won’t charge you”. So since he said he didn’t think it was needed, and it was no charge, I said ok don’t worry about it. I then went in to ask about other services and said I would call to get an estimate on those jobs the next day. He was exceptionally kind.
Ten minutes later, I got a text from the owner lecturing me on how I said I would have it fixed regardless of whether it was draining or not. And because he sent a tech lot, I owed 96.00. I explained to him that his service tech said no charge. And had I known I was going to pay 96.00 for nothing, I would have rather had him auger it for the 125.00. He then responded that he thought I would have communicated HIS conversation with me to the tech and that there was “blame” on both sides. Blame??? I didn’t shirk the bill. I even said “you’re going to charge me for coming out so go ahead and do it”. But now I am the bad guy because his tech walked away without billing. Sure, I will pay for the call, but his tech made the wrong call - he shouldn’t have said no charge only to have me pay 96.00 for absolutely nothing after the fact. And the fact that the owner would come back to me and say I was partially to “blame” is absolutely pathetic.

These guys were professional and thorough, would highly recommend, reasonably priced also 👌

Joe and his coworker came out to fix multiple faucets in my home. They arrived early. They were very professional, covered my floors with tarps so they did not leave any footprints etc. The work they did was great. I am very happy with the work they completed in my home. I would definitely recommend them and if I need a plumber again, I will call Joe Ganzel Plumbing Inc.

We recently moved into a home in the Old West End and decided to have a few plumbing fixtures updated. On a recommendation from another Old West Ender, we chose Fickwood Plumbing, LLC and they scheduled us for the following day. That was helpful to us. When Brandon, the technician, arrived, he was very congenial and very helpful. His work was neat and very cleanly. Mr. Fick arrived with a new toilet fixture and that was installed with some updating to the mounting pieces beneath the toilet. All was done in a timely and professional manner with very pleasant people to deal with. And the cost was less than we had anticipated. I would highly recommend Fickwood Plumbing. We are extremely satisfied with their work.

First time I've had them come out. They removed a clog in my kitchen sink line. Couldn't be happier. Will use again for sure.

The Service representative, Blake, arrived on time and was friendly and professional. I was a bit surprised that he initially flushed the hot water heater while keeping the cold water supply to the tank turned on and not asking us to open a hot water faucet to drain the tank. After cleaning the burner and combustion chamber he did agree to open a Faucet while the cold water supply valve was closed which he said did clear out a little more sediment. The tank wasn’t fully drained as I agreed with him that doing so might have generated more issues for our 15 year old gas water heater.

This place was wonderful. Fred came to my house right away after I contacted them about my basement flooding and fixed the problem immediately and at a reasonable price. I will definitely call again in the future.

Absolutely recommend this company! The men were so professional and nice. Installed a new hot water tank, holding tank and iron filter. I've had them out before for a new well pump.

Had a main line plugged..(happens often with the darn tree roots)..guy came out, was punctual, and did good job..bout 20 days later, had another plug up..called back because i had a 30 day warranty on job..(they normally do NOT give warranty but hubby was persistent on having one) owner was not happy that we were quoted a warranty but did honor it and it was cleaned a little further out and so far, no problems..price was reasonable and they were professional..im sure i be calling them again next year...gave 4 stars because i believe a warranty on work, for at least a year, should be provided..my last sewer guy always gave me 2yr warranty...Judy S
