Best Plumbing Maintenance in Toledo OH

Had appt at 9am on a Friday to install shower valve and diverter. Was contacted and pushed back to 12:00pm because a bigger job came in. Was then called around noon to let me know the tech was still busy and would not be out till 3pm. Finally showed up at 3:30 and took 45 min to spec out the job to give me a price and still could not figure it out. Then he tells me he will not be able to get to my job today. I specifically informed the call taker I needed this installed that day or they could cancel and I would contact someone else. She said they would get it taken care of. I am livid at this point and tell the tech he can leave, I will hire someone else. They bill me $39.00 service fee (which I was aware of) even though they pushed the little guy off for a bigger job, then don’t show up when promised. Does not know how to price out a job, then basically says my day is over, sorry about your luck. Horrible customer service. I will not be using or referring this company anytime in the future. You would think they would waive the fee Because they pushed me off all day and wasted my time.

I called early this morning around 8:00 a.m. and with no hesitation they came right out at 9:00 a.m. Rooter Man is such a great company!! Christian and Joel Sr. was very knowledgeable about the service that we had done. Christian was very professional, worked quickly and cleaned up very good at the end. The owner Joel Sr. was very helpful and worked with me every step of the way. I would highly recommend this company.

Jag's is an incredible local plumber. Very responsive to setting up a call and they do great quality work. They are very price conscious and are quick at diagnosing problems. They are my go-to company for anything plumbing relating. 10/10 would recommend calling Jag's for any plumbing issues.

I called the Petrie Plumbing phone number on 2/4/17 to get an estimate on making repairs at my Aunt's house. The lady answering the phone stated that a representative of Petrie Plumbing would give me a call to set up an appointment. A (so-called) representative of Petrie Plumbing called and said they would be out to look at the plumbing issues sometime between 12-4 pm. Nobody showed up between 12-4 pm. I called the Petrie Plumbing phone number at 4:20 pm and the plumber said they wouldn't be able to keep the appointment so, we arranged an appointment for Sunday morning 2/5/17 at 10 am. The plumbers showed up after 10 am and we soon determined that they were not from Petrie Plumbing and that they were subcontractors. At no point in time did Petire Plumbing notify us that we would be dealing with sub-contractors nor did they notify us that they work being performed by the subcontractors would not be warranted. The subcontractor plumbers provided an estimate of $200 plus parts (approx. $50) to fix the plumbing issues and left before 11 am. The plumbers said they needed to go get parts and would be back shortly. Two hours later the plumbers returned to start repairs. After talking with them, we found out that they went to another job and made repairs to the other job before returning. The plumbers made a proper repair to one of the copper water lines supplying a bathroom sink by cutting the sink line and then installing a new copper sink line, soldering the joints, and installing a valve joint. However, on the other copper sink line, the plumbers attempted to fix the line using a short-term alternative method that ended up failing causing a major leak in the bathroom and the adjoining Kitchen. The flooring had to be removed and a different plumber was hired to make the proper changes to the one copper sink line providing water to the bathroom sink. When my sister contacted Petrie Plumbing to make them aware of the everything, their response was that they subcontract work out on the weekends and since they do not actually perform the work they said they would not guarantee any work performed by subcontractors. The subcontractor plumbers ended up charging $250 for the repair plus $50 for parts that cost less then $10. Having hired many plumbers over the years flipping 8+ houses and building four brand new houses, the subcontractor plumbers were very unprofessional, their repairs were substandard, thy overcharged on both labor and parts based upon their limited time on the jobsite and considering that they only performed one of the two repairs for which they were hired. In summary, I would NOT recommend them to anyone. As for Petrie Plumbing, based upon their use of subcontractors on weekends and their failure to notify unsuspecting callers that they use subcontractors on weekends, I would not recommend them since they do not warranty the work of the subcontractors nor are they willing to work with customers who are duped into thinking they are hiring actual employees from Petrie Plumbing.

Once we reached out for them to do some plumbing, they were quick to come look at & quote the job. It took a couple days to schedule the work, but that's to be expected. Overall expediency, quality of work, and pricing was fair and customer service was excellent.

Called Monday (12/7/2015) morning about main sewer line plugged / water backing up.. Had someone out in about 2 hours. Plumbers worked fast and got the job done.

My repairman (Bill) was very polite, professional, and competent! Another reviewer said that her repairman wore an inappropriate shirt. Both times that Bill came to my house, he wore proper attire, which included a plain, dark t-shirt.
