Jeff was amazing to work with. Explains what my house needed in order to keep the A/C as efficient as possible. This was the 2nd time he has come out to our house and both experiences have been a pleasure. He is professional and knowledgeable with HVAC. He was able to explain what my system does in simple terms. Will work with him again!

Do not use these scam artists. The fraud involved with this company & American Home Warranty is dangerous, dishonest and a rip off in pricing. Please protect your family & do not use this company affiliated with American Home Warranty. They put items in not up to code, tried to replace items that did not need replaced , lied to us & left us sitting with no response or concerns that we had 17° winter weather for days. When calling for help, their phone operator admitted he was not in the United States & had never been in 17°F weather or even seen snow. They did not even try to do a job we desperately needed. Do not use American Home Warranty, we paid 7 years & then couldn't get our furnace replaced in dead of winter in Ohio. We had to buy 3 small heaters & after several days & not even ordered a furnace or put on the schedule, we called J&J Heating Cooling locally. J&J saved the day & were excellent. We still have no actual response from this company affiliated with American Home Warranty ( which was a good Warranty years ago & does not use local companies now in 2022.) AS a former Realtor I do not want to see people use a shady company like this. Protect your family & your wallet from this company. They have numerous complaints.

Do you want to talk about the $89. Service call 2weeks prior, where you told us furnace was fine & put in a Thermastat that was not even up to code? Then we repaid another $89. for a second service call because furnace was not coming on STILL?
OR the unmarked van & no name of repairman? Or the Home Warranty to Replace furnace but when i asked around to skilled tradesmen they did not find shotty gas line? We requested the new furnace but after being a consumer who did not trust you, I got 2 other opinions & they disagreed with you? Not friends, professionals. If you lied & couldn't fix it 1st call & put in a thermostat not up to code....Im not trusting you with my familys lives. We got a local company we could trust.They replaced your shotty work with materials UP TO CODE! They added a humidifier & new duct work with a brand new Carrier furnace in 1 day for less. Yes we asked for reimbursment duh We paid 7 years for a Warranty. You offered us $600. last I checked a furnace was not $600. Since you started your quote at $3,800.
Where exactly was your Help line? He told me not even in the United States.
Your PR person can type what you want because your reviews online with BBB & yelp speak for themselves. God knows what unmarked service men you'd send out next time. You owe local compañys money. Do 100% of your employees have Backround checks Before you send them into the publics homes? Yeah, we learned that you dont do that either. How much do you owe the City of Columbus? Stop your PR . People need to to go to Better Business B and do their research. Your dishonest & shady. From a lĂČcal former Realtor.. 😉

The worst company ever! Did not have choice in working with this company because of Home Warranty Company. Took them 4 times to fix a problem and still not fixed. They also require someone 18 years or older to be at the house. They would not believe me that the person at my house was of the right age. This company has cost me a lot of time and frustration. Do yourself a favor and hire someone else. So bonus for me a new hot water heater that still leaks! Thanks for the great service and trust!

They did the same thing as the other reviews gave us a 2 week out appointment then cancelled that morning and told us it would be another week in a half! Terrible customer service! I get things happen but you don’t cancel on people the morning of and then say you can come for another 10 days. Awful company!!

Our air conditioning is out so not sure why you are saying about the heating but clearly you have a history of doing this to other clients so don’t try to hide behind false facts it’s our furnace that works our air conditioning. So now we will be without air while the weather is in the 80s

Jeff replaced our AC after it became apparent our old unit was leaking freon, he was very professional and gave me some personalized tips for my house design to better cool it during the summer!

If I could give ZERO stars I would!! American Home warranty assigned this company to come fix my central air issue. Upon calling me to schedule on 6/1 they told me the soonest they could send someone out was 6/14, TWO WEEKS OUT. Pretty unsatisfied but I agreed to the appointment. Fast forward to 6/13, at this point I’ve already scheduled the day off at work so I can be there when the repair man comes. They call me at 5:30 PM THE DAY BEFORE MY APPOINTMENT!! They called to tell me that they needed to reschedule or cancel my appointment. No explanation why. The soonest they could reschedule me was 6/29!! OVER two whole weeks on top of the 2 weeks I have already waited!! Asked to speak to a manager, one wasn’t available. Extremely inconsiderate and unprofessional! Do yourself a favor and book someone else!

My review is unfortunately like so many here- listen to these low reviews and not the excuses the company provides for their awful customer service. I would give this company zero stars I could do so. They asked me to wait from 6/19 until 7/5 for my central air system to get repaired, followed by canceling the day of service and requesting that I wait an additional 5 days because the technician called off. I just received a call today (7/10) 20 minutes before the technician was supposed to arrive that they're canceling my appointment indefinitely because the technician put in notice. As a result I have to go back to the home warranty company after wasting nearly a month waiting on them to get their act together.

This company has been extremely inconsiderate of my time and doesn't seem to care that my family has been without AC for nearly a month. When I spoke to their assistant she said I could schedule with another company with less of a wait time and I did try to do so - unfortunately I wasn't able to accomplish that.

My house has regularly been in the mid to upper 80's with a handful of cool days while waiting for this company to get their act together- it has been uncomfortable and unpleasant.

I would recommend literally any other company in the area over this business. I will be reporting them to the home warranty company in hopes they no longer do business with them. Absolutely a horror to work with McAtee and I will for the rest of my life avoid the company. I highly recommend you avoid them as well.

Edit: As for the company's generic response, I don't see many 5 star reviews on Google for your company, so where are these 2,700+ positive reviews??? You didn't collect any money because your company couldn't figure out how to show up for the job. Instead you cancelled twice in the summer to completely inconvenience a family. Your response is feeble and doesn't at all make this situation better. I stand by what I said - I recommend literally any other company over McAtee.
