This company and people come in my house reck my sink drawer. The reck my crawl space opening found out The guy said he was the apprentice was actually the owner so is lying to me said he would come back and fix everything never did I had to hire a company to fix my drain And pay that company $300 this company is a rip off I would never use them again promises lies an expensive

I would have liked to have given a better rating for this company. The technician was super nice and he came to my home the same day promptly. What should have tipped me off is that he tried to give me a quote for a new water heater right off the bat, without even looking at the water heater. I told him I thought it was the thermocouple.

The quote was really high but I was desperate for hot water. I totally get the $139 charge for after hours. Which I was glad to pay. He installs the new thermocouple,Tries to light it a couple times, but he realized the gas was still shut off. Turns on gas...Tries to light it again, thermal couple doesn’t stay lit, then says it’s the gas regulator, and that I might as well just get a new water heater because of the price to install a gas regulator. I asked what the charge would be because it took maybe tops 15 minutes to install. And furthermore, he didn’t even seem to troubleshoot it for that long.He said well technically I did the job it’s $439. (300 labor)And said that if I got a new water heater he would put some of that money towards a new water heater.
I just felt screwed over. I told him I’ll wait on the new water heater. It just felt fishy, I called Bluflame the next day, they came out, Looked at it did some adjustments, lit right up, he said it was not worth writing up and did not charge me for coming out. I would like a partial refund from Pipe Doctor.

I called this company after hours for a drain issue, and told him that though it was draining at the time of my call, I would have him snake it anyway. He was extremely polite and said he would send someone out for a few of 125.00. I was delighted! He sent a tech out who looked at the drain and ran water through the drain and said it seemed to be working and it was up to me, at which time I said “since you’re going to charge me either way, go ahead and do it”. The tech said “no, I won’t charge you”. So since he said he didn’t think it was needed, and it was no charge, I said ok don’t worry about it. I then went in to ask about other services and said I would call to get an estimate on those jobs the next day. He was exceptionally kind.
Ten minutes later, I got a text from the owner lecturing me on how I said I would have it fixed regardless of whether it was draining or not. And because he sent a tech lot, I owed 96.00. I explained to him that his service tech said no charge. And had I known I was going to pay 96.00 for nothing, I would have rather had him auger it for the 125.00. He then responded that he thought I would have communicated HIS conversation with me to the tech and that there was “blame” on both sides. Blame??? I didn’t shirk the bill. I even said “you’re going to charge me for coming out so go ahead and do it”. But now I am the bad guy because his tech walked away without billing. Sure, I will pay for the call, but his tech made the wrong call - he shouldn’t have said no charge only to have me pay 96.00 for absolutely nothing after the fact. And the fact that the owner would come back to me and say I was partially to “blame” is absolutely pathetic.

Drain Doctor did a fantastic job! The technician Josh was knowledgeable and speedy with his repair! Will use Drain Doctor for all my plumbing needs! Would definitely recommend to anyone!

Prompt. Professional. The first employee could not figure out the leak, and he called his partner who came to assist and they fixed it together. A month later, there were still some issues. I was scheduled for the same day, and since it was under warranty the work was completed at the same time (additional work/ Pipe cleaning). Without charging anything additional.
The only thing I would recommend is that the first time they provided their services, they did not run water in the bathtub long enough to figure out there was still a blockage. If this was done, they would not have had to come out a second time.
That said, I would recommend this company.

We called ASAP on a Saturday night, after 6, because our outside spigot broke and we couldn’t get the emergency shut off valve to work. Not knowing any plumbers, we picked ASAP based on their reviews and we weren’t disappointed. John showed up within 30 minutes with everything he needed to repair our problem. After looking at it, and discussing options, we decided on an alternative course of action that would solve our problem without making us tear our the ceiling in the basement. We appreciated the fact that he discussed alternatives instead of just tearing into the problem which would have created a mess in the middle of prepping for a graduation party. In the end we got a fix within an hour, AND they saved us money. I plan to schedule them back for a few other plumbing needs now that we have a company we know and trust.

I used this company once five years ago on an emergency AC repair that turned out to be a faulty breaker. The tech was very nice and just charged me the standard call out, not the emergency rate.

I brought them in again a month ago to repair my boiler that was not acting well. Long story short, the tech had some concerns and started moving me towards a complete replacement. The concern was a controller was bad and it was no longer produced. The total replacement cost was a hair under $20K, and that was after I spent $1,000 to mitigate asbestos in the vicinity of the boiler in anticipation.

There were also concerns related to how the boiler was venting, but I'm confident that was not a real issue and just an error on the part of the tech. There was a significant amount of smoke when we first fired the boiler up after the first repair attempt, that made him think the boiler was faulty. I think it was just dust and debris burning off at the beginning that accumulated during the repair. I've been running the boiler for over a month with a smoke and CO detector above it with zero issue. This was another issue that made them think whole replacement would be the way to go, and this was an error.

Being a bit shell shocked by the quote, I googled the part number on the front of this controller and the first link was a replacement controller from Honeywell for $150 off Amazon. I bought it and it shipped to me in a week. I changed it out, and all is functioning perfectly.

The service/repair that was performed was very high quality, and I was pleased with that. They are also very prompt. On top of that, they are one of the few companies who work on residential steam boilers. That said, I don't think enough effort was put into sourcing another part to repair the existing boiler and they rushed to tossing the baby out with the bath water. I chalk it up to an honest mistake, but it's worth being aware of.

I'll certainly be bringing them back for future work, but with a cautious stance.

We spend a lot of time in the basement during the fall and winter and decided it was time to get a bathroom installed. Fickwood Plumbing came highly recommended to us so we called them. They did not disappoint. We called on Friday and we received a free estimate that same day. They started that Monday and we are so happy with our new full bathroom. It’s Thursday and they are done. Excellent work and excellent customer care. We highly recommend

I would give Root Wrestler 6 stars if I could. I called them late on a Saturday afternoon to set up a time to come out to fix a toilet problem. Mike said that they could handle it that evening and within an hour Pat came out to our house. He fixed the problem in 5 minutes! He was very professional and friendly. We had called another company the day before who promised next day service. They never showed and never called to reschedule. I called another company that promised that you always speak to a staff member and was on hold for more than a half hour. Mike answered our call right away. I will definitely call Root Wrestler the next time I need plumbing service and recommend them without reservation. Thank you for the great service, Mike and Pat!

Worked incredibly hard to unclog a very very stubborn kitchen drain! Would NOT recommend ANYONE else but this company! If you need help, they are your go to team!

Most unprofessional plumber named Robb/ installed well tank charged over 640 dollars and installed incorrectly/ no returned phone call / on weekend no emergency phone number listed. Call the following Monday after two days with no water and immediately asked for 110.00 dollar service fee States how do I know your not trying to scam the plumbing business lol joke of a company stay away spend money elsewhere.. A-1 creep!

This is the most unprofessional experience I have ever encountered! My appointment was for 9 AM; it's now 4 PM and he still hasn't arrived. He will not answer his phone and will not call me back. He was recommended by Angi which leads me to question the reliability of their recommendations!
I took off from work to be here and he never showed up and never called. This affected my professional life as well as my personal life. This is an insulting, disrespectful and shameful business. He should be ashamed of himself for treating a customer in this manner.
This is a company that should not be in business.
