Best Shower Valve Replacement in Seattle WA

BEWARE OF HIDDEN FEES AND OVERPRICED SERVICES. Contacted them to do a deep clean on my mini split unit. When the technician arrived, he said he didn't have the tools to do a deep clean, which was unbelievable! He then charged me $170 for his trip to my home and diagnosing the problem. I was not even aware of this $170 diagnostic fee, in fact I shopped around and avoided companies that charged such fees. Spoke to the manager to get a refund and he apparently reviewed the recording of my call and said I was notified of this fee, but very suspicious of this recording since I was not allowed to review it myself. Furthermore, I was quoted $800 for the deep clean, which is a separate fee from the $170. Happy to say I didn't choose them for the job. I eventually found an honest accredited company who did the job and charged me $400 for the job. They swindled me for my $170, but I was glad I didn't give this sketchy company any more business.

The owner came out himself to look at our water leak. He worked with our budget, gave us an estimate, and replaced our pressure reducing value right then. Happy to do business with him!

I recently had repipe done by Nick’s team. Overall he did a good job. They finished the job in one day. There were a few things left behind. When I contacted Nick, he took responsibilities and came back to take care of things right away. He seems to hold himself to higher standards as compared with some other plumbers I worked with in the past. It is an expensive project and I hope it can last for decades. Nick also provides a warranty to his job.

Had them come out for a hot water heater repair, right on time and very professional. Also, the guy wasn’t equipped to fix the problem I had, but he told me how to do it myself and then didn’t charge me for the visit, saying he doesn’t like charging people when he doesn’t fix the problem.

Didn’t fix my issue, but it wasn’t their fault, and overall found them to be very trustworthy. Would recommend.

We had a great interaction with Sewer Friendly. My only feedback (which I gave already and they were very receptive to) was around setting expectations for the day of - what we need to do to prep, when we cant use water/toilet. Otherwise, they were able to crank out the project in a day and I'm happy to have our old pipes lined to hopefully avoid any future issues.

I had a problem with 1946 sinks and pipes in my thrice remodeled home. Laundry room.. (where all the big pipes converge!)
What I liked about Joe is that he spent time thinking about the best way to fix considering what I wanted to see in the end. This is the 2nd time I've used Simple Plumber and was very satisfied with his ideas, work ethic (a 9-hour day) and the itemization of his work on the bill. I highly recommend Simple Plumber for small jobs and large. (I've had both).

We had several plumbers come out to fix a leaky Kohler shower/tub valve, and all of them told us we'd have to cut a hole through our shower enclosure to replace the whole thing.

We called Joe from TSCO from a recommendation from a friend, and he was great. He let us e-mail photos of the valve to him and he arrived with the necessary parts already in hand, and there was no need to cut a hole in the shower. He also squeezed us in two days early, too! The end result? Our valve is no longer leaking. Plus, he fixed a rust stain in the tub and replaced a toilet flapper while he was here.

Joe is very thorough, knowledgeable and does a quality job. He's more expensive than some other plumbers we called, but clearly you get what you pay for. TSCO is definitely our plumber of choice!

They quoted us $7k to do a repair. Then they said the work on the “repair” was complete, but that it wasn’t really a repair as it would almost immediately start backing up again. But they still demanded the full $7k for a “repair” that did not repair anything. And then asked for $14k more to actually repair it. The fact that they said we were paying for a full repair that would cost a certain amount, and then acknowledged after the fact that it wasn’t really a repair, and was more of an “investigative” work, and that we now needed to triple the quoted amount to actually repair, was basically their way of getting us to quickly agree to contracting with them, and then holding us hostage to actually fix the problem once we were already contractually stuck with them. Called it “semantics.”

Dishonest and unethical. Save yourself a lot of money and heartache and go elsewhere. Even if they tell you one thing up front, and it sounds fair and accurate, they will “amend” the bid later and lock you in for substantially higher fees. It could easily bankrupt someone and they simply do not care, they’ll just put a lien on your home. Protect yourself and go with a different contractor.

Had my gas valve replaced, new range installed, and water hose on refrigerator installed after a very poor experience with Lowe’s. Couldn’t recommend these guys enough. They were so nice, gave very thorough explanations, and made sure the range and water from refrigerator were working as expected before leaving. Crew was on time and very efficient. I will definitely be using Bee’s for future services!

We have used Price Busters for years & they always deliver! Johnny has always helped us out! When we moved out of our old house we had some major plumbing issues that needed to be fixed in order to sell. It was a daunting task to us, but their guys handled it perfectly. New bath tub faucet, pipes in basement, new toilet, all flawless. When it came time to move into our new home, there was a lot of fixing up to do as well. They scoped our underground gutter downspout drains, scoped our sewer drains, replaced a toilet, & replaced a mud room utility sink. I was a little particular about the placement of the utility sink as we were getting a new (larger) washing machine & after the guys had left I realized I forgot to mention that to them! I called back & Alex in their office was super nice & said it was no problem at all. They came back out within a day or two to extend the utility sink drain pipe so it would fit in the spot, making room for the new washing machine!
