Absolutely wonderful service, knowledgeable people and incredible problem solvers. Been using Mike's for years for clean outs, but this time we had two issues which were MAJOR for us, but not for them. Took some creative problem-solving, but Hayden and Sean (sp) worked them both out and were amazing while doing so. Thank you guys. Mike's Plumbing is the go-to plumber for my condo complex. They were very prompt at replacing my unit's hot water tank and its leaky cold water supply valve. I thought the total cost was high (lower $2000s) but it was because of all of the extras required by city codes to install in a multiple unit building and not because the hot water tank itself was overpriced (below $1000). Because my condo's management company trusts them, and I've been happy the two times I've used them, I recommend them.

Miguel worked to repair a tricky thermostatic valve issue, first working towards a temporary fix and then successfully repairing with new part. Miguel and David plumbed shower with beautiful, high quality, copper work appreciated by contractor and skilled welder. Tyler in Customer Care was responsive and helpful. Pleased to have a plumber we trust.

Regrettably, recent quality and professionalism has declined significantly. We’ll take our needs elsewhere in the future, and recommend you do as well. We used Mike’s plumbing for our rental properties and had always found the team well trained and knowledgeable. We had them out to clear out a basement line about month ago in our personal residence. The crew were clearly in training and under prepared for the job. They spent 70% of their visit on the phone asking for guidance from the main office. We understand needing to learned, however, usually the price reflects the apprenticeship status and there is effective senior oversight. The first team did not resolve our issue. We called them again to discuss the issue and request a new team and a new appointment. We were asked to pay in full for the first appointment as well as the second. In good faith, we had a new team out. They were much more seasoned, and appeared to clear the line. However it is now several weeks later and the line is backed up again. We are sure it is not user error. If there is a system issue; the teams should have been able to tell. Neither did. We would have greatly appreciated a symbolic discount on either service, or authentic support from the staff, manager, and owner. Business is about earnings but it is mostly about relationships. 1 star.

I recently had a whole-house generator installed by an electrical contractor. They had a sub-contractor do the gas piping for the project.

The job involved running gas piping through the crawl space, penetrating out through the wall of the house, dropping down into a pre-dug 2ft trench that went out around behind the generator, then coming up and connecting into the back of generator.

When the sub-contractor Technician “finished the job and left, I had numerous issues with what he had done. The plumbing sub-contractor agreed to have someone come out and fix everything, only they sent out the same Technician who had created all the problems in the first place ie the same guy who thought he had done it “right the first time. On his second visit he made the original problems worse, and added to them. At this point, I “fired” the plumbing subcontractor, and on my own hired Mike’s Plumbing to completely re-do the entire trench portion of the job.

I have used Mike’s Plumbing numerous times in the past for remodels of a laundry room and 2 bathrooms, as well as a repair of my sewer line. I have always been happy with their work, and everyone has always been very professional, competent and thorough. This job was a bit trickier in that they had to tie-in to a portion, and then re-do a portion, of another plumber's poor quality work. And yet they were entirely professional the entire time, and there was no “bad-mouthing” of the other company (except by me.) Also, while in the crawl space they discovered my toilet was leaking, creating a lake on the moisture barrier plastic. This is something the other plumber would also had to have seen, but Mike brought it to my attention, and went ahead and fixed the problem.

Mike's Plumbing has been to my rental house twice in the last two months. First to replace a toilet and today to replace a shut off valve. Both times Mike's did the job very well. Today it was Dom and Miguel. They replaced an ancient shut-off valve that could have been a problem. But they handled well and finished the job in no time. They hung around to make sure that the water came cleanly and smoothly out of all faucets. They made minor adjustments to all. They worked efficiently and affably.
It's always a pleasant experience when Miguel and Dom come to work. They are always nice and knowledgable. That's why I stay with Mike's.

A leaking pipe is a nightmare. Called Mike’s plumbing and they were at the house first thing in the morning. Hayden crawled under the house and appeared saying, “easy fix.” Thirty minutes later he appeared with the copper pipe that had a hole in it and made the necessary repairs. We were so relieved and a huge thanks to Mike’s plumbing and especially Hayden.

Great service and very happy with the results. We had a unique situation where our septic line ran under a concrete step and patio stairs. We had engaged a couple of plumbers to get an estimate and all of them told us we would need to hire someone else to relocate the stairs and re-install concrete steps. I was very pleased that Mike’s Plumbing not only fixed the line but they were able to work around the stairs and finished up the job with new concrete. Saved us the headache of hiring multiple contractors. Great work!!

I reached out to Mike's Plumbing along with a few other plumbing services when I discovered a large crack in the bowl of my powder room toilet and needed it replaced. Mike's got back to me promptly (within 24 hours) and were actually the only service provider that even bothered to respond.
Their office team and service technicians were all friendly and professional and the work was done in a tidy and efficient manner. Plus, their quote came in at about $300 less than the average costs I was seeing online.
I also received a lovely thank you card from Mike and his wife in the mail after my service appointment.

From start to finish, everything about this company was professional. Lou, who works in the office, was patient, responsive, and communicative. The technicians, David and Jake, were knowledgeable, skillful, and efficient. I particularly liked their attention to detail and the way they used quality parts that were better than those that came with the toilet. Lou, David and Jake answered all my questions, and I came away feeling very satisfied with the installation. And they even came in under the estimate! All in all, I had a very good experience with Mike's Plumbing.

My shower clogged pretty suddenly—took maybe 45min to drain fully one day when previously it had only been slightly slow. I was leaving the country in a few days, but Mike’s Plumbing was able to come out the next day! They were very nice on the phone and the guys that came out were also very nice. They were efficient and professional and kept everything clean! Their price was also reasonable. I’ve used them several times and have been super happy with them every time!

Mike's Plumbing has been our plumber for four years. We bought a total fixer house in 2018 and Mike installed new fixtures and plumbing lines, and repaired many broken and leaky pipes. Only a few days ago, two days before our daughter's wedding being held at our house, our toilet and shower unexpectedly backed up. Caitlin got us on the schedule that afternoon, and Sean came and fixed the problem quickly. I am so appreciative! Mike, himself, is a delightful person to work with and very knowledgeable. Mike's has been our go-to plumber since we moved into our house in 2021 and they have been consistent, professional, courteous and fair in pricing. Mike will tell you himself, he may not be the lowest price in town (in most instances, they were honestly right there with everyone else or cheaper) but the work they do is quality. We have plumbing systems from 1956 and Mike's has been more than helpful in explaining what fixes are absolutely necessary vs what may be extraneous or even outright dangerous. Mike, Miguel, Sean, David, Javi and their whole team are consistent, show up on time and are extremely professional. On several instances Mike's quoted labor and time and when the crew finished the job early, they took money off of the original quote and only charged for hours worked. Honesty is huge for me and this only makes me trust them more. We have used them for several large projects (7k+) and for several smaller ones and each time we were really happy with the results. If you need a trusted plumber who is consistent and cares about quality, give Mike's a call.

They were very quick to respond to an emergency pipe leak at my water heater. The emergency was because I did the plumbing work myself. When that didn’t work the problem was worse than when i began. I called Mike’s Plumbing and they were able to get a team there very quickly. They assessed the problem within seconds and reassured me that they could fix it quickly. They were very professional and courteous. They worked efficiently, fixed the leak and put in a new gate valve. The whole thing was done in about half an hour. Excellent work. The cost of that service was very reasonable compared with other plumbing companies.

I couldn't find an RV tech to repair/replace my trailer's water heater. Even though Mike's doesn't work on RVs, they were willing to give it a go. Kami in the office was very helpful setting this up and keeping in contact with me. Hayden and Jake were very professional and figured out how to install a replacement unit. This was not an easy swap out as my trailer is over 20 years old and the new replacement units have different parts and now needed an electrical hookup. Mike came out for the completion and I couldn't be happier with their service and kindness, not to mention having hot water again. Thanks so much!

Fantastic experience, great work. They arrived before the scheduled time, but they called ahead first to make sure that was ok. The guys were friendly, quick, left no mess, and the work they did was flawless.

Of the five plumbers in the area that I reached out to, Mike's was the only ones who could send someone out the next day (only one of the other plumbers even bothered to reply to us within 24 hours.)

Amazing customer service. The technician took time to show my young daughter what he was doing, why, and how. Super friendly and actual invoice came in lower than quoted. Definitely calling again if we run into any more issues in the future.

I called after waking up to a flooded bathroom. They were the only company to answer my call, and were able to do the job same day. Within a couple of hours, as promised, two gentlemen showed up, did the work, kept me informed of everything from pricing to necessary and unnecessary plumbing needs. I felt comfortable and safe, and most of all paid a great price for a service that was done great.

If you have a problem with water draining, Mike's Plumbing and Drain Cleaning are the people to call. All I had to do was call and I had an appointment the next day. The guys they sent over were great. They explained what needed to be done and got to work. An hour later my drains were working again. I was charged what I was quoted and couldn't be happier. Mike's Plumbing did an outstanding job. I run a non profit in Lynnwood and they've done good work there so I decided to hire them for my own home. I needed a toilet reseated, a bathroom sink leak fixed (2nd bath) and a brand new sink and fixtures installed in kitchen to fix an old kitchen sink and pipe leak. They came early on in their window and were polite and efficient. Got it all done and its been great. I've had a few contractors out recently for work and by far Mike's guys were the best - just did what they said they were going to do when they said they were going to do it and for the price they agreed to. Would def hire again.

Mike arrived and I walked him through the project. He gave me feedback on how he was going fix the issue quickly. I would hire his company again. It was great to support a local business. Mike gets it done. No freakin just quality work.

We have used Mike and team a number of times both for personal residence, as well as commercial and multifamily needs. Mike is honest, professional and direct. His team shows up when they say they will, give fairly accurate estimates both in terms of cost and time, and get back to you quickly. His team did a very quick and thorough job repairing a main sewer line for a commercial building during the pandemic, causing as little disruption as possible to our tenants, and getting all necessary permits and city applications and reviews done, quickly. I recommend them to all friends, as well.

Mike's plumbing replaced my galvanized pipes leading to my house. They were on time, and did the job quickly. I wish I had used them to replace the pipes inside my house too, they did excellent work. Unfortunately, I had already had my indoor pipes replaced by another company.
I will use Mike's Plumbing for any plumbing issue moving forward.

I've called Mike's twice for service, replacing stops that have gone bad. Always quick to provide service, friendly, very fair in price. On my most recent call for repairs the tech had some extra time on the one hour minimum service call fee after replacing 2 stops so he installed a faucet with the balance of the time. I won't call any other plumber for my plumbing repairs.

Miguel and David were very professional they did a good job very clean and very nice. I would recommend them for any job.

As a homeowner, is there any greater feeling of relief than having a plumbing problem completely taken care of and at a reasonable price? They squeezed me in the day that I called, they updated me three times about the arrival time, I felt totally unaccustomed to this level of customer service! The guys were great, they quickly addressed the issue, they were totally helpful and had good feedback and recommendations. I'm very thankful to have a high quality, local plumber I can count on.

We unwittingly supplied them a bath-only fixture for our home bath/shower and the plumber installed it, though we now know it's clearly the wrong part to anyone with experience with Hansgrohe fixtures. The installation took twice as long as the time estimate (much of which was of questionable productivity). They insisted on billing fully for that time, and would have happily come out again for several more hours and bill us again to fix it. Worse, the management rapidly took an adversarial attitude and refused any responsibility for their plumber's mistake. This and a few incidental projects they did in the meantime had leaks or were incomplete. A real nightmare, and they clearly just wanted to pocket the money and get out of the situation. Overall they charged us a few thousand dollars for poor and incomplete work by threatening to call collections.
Today, a different company's team came out and fixed it all up in under an hour for a couple hundred dollars. That could have been Mike's Plumbing and they would have gotten a very different review. I see a lot of 1 star and 5 star reviews here, which probably means they are fine but some of their staff aren't up to snuff and that management will cut and run if problems arise. If you would just say that if you use Mike's, make sure to get some guarantees before you start in case things go wrong because they seem to remain helpful only as long as they can immediately profit.

I want to thank Mike's for coming quickly in an emergency to clear my pipes when they clogged after my septic tank was pumped out. I was not excited about having to stay in a hotel because I didn't have a usuable drain in my house!

Awesome! The technician (I'm forgetting his name, super nice dude) was very communicative with updates to his arrival time, and ended up being early! We had been told that the issue we were having in our 1955 house was likely going to require replacing pipe, but he managed to get the buildup of rust and assorted other junk to unstick, and quickly. Great pricing, great service, I'll call them again for any major plumbing issue.

Kami was amazing - got back to me right away about my broken sink disposal and was able to walk me through steps to fix it (aka, unplug it and plug it back in) on the phone. No visit needed and she was super friendly during the process. Thanks!

Speaking on behalf of Maple Park Church in Lynnwood, I want to thank Mike and his crew for their quick response during the February 2019 snow marathon. They shuffled their schedule to work us in, did excellent work, and got a challenging plugged system up and running within a few hours! Everyone at Mike's was courteous, helpful, and bent over backwards to fix the problem when plumbing companies were all slammed with calls. Highly recommended.

We used Mike's Plumbing and Drain for a sewer lining project. Not only were they competitively priced, our job was completed below estimate and we were refunded the difference, saving thousands over the quote we had gotten from another company. The first call to Mike's was a couple of months ago. We smelled that awful sewer smell near the bathroom, but when I called, he asked if I could tell where it was coming from. Of course, then I couldn't smell anything! Instead of coming out, charging for a visit, and not finding anything, he said if the smell returned, give them a call. Fast forward to today, they came out the check out slow hot water from the kitchen faucet. Fixed and out the door! Professional, listened, and did the job. Call them, you will not be disappointed!

Mike and his team are a group of true professionals. From my initial call to the remedy for my waterline issue, they were incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, and did an amazing job. I highly recommend calling them for any and all plumbing needs.

I haven't even used them yet, but I was calling around multiple places to get info about approximate costs and scheduling for our issue. The person who answered the phone at Mike's was the only one who talked with me about the issue and wound up saying we're probably ok without service. That's a huge positive sign in my book, so we wound up chatting about some other possible projects as well. I'm looking forward to working with Mike's.

Would not recommend (poor work/poor customer service/poor communication/$$$$). Hired for five projects (leaks/installations), three projects failed (leaked or were installed improperly), only one was offered to be corrected (grudgingly for free), the other two declined to correct. Demanded $2000 payment for hourly work ($250/hour for two plumbers; $195/hour for one plumber), even though work was done in a poor (many leaks resulted) and slow fashion (trying to figure out and correct his mistakes). Home office defended the inefficiency of the plumbers and treated us with entitlement and poorly. Had to hire a new company to correct their inadequacies.

Mikes has come out to do some work on my kitchen, and to jet my sewer cleanout. They are very professional and charge a reasonable price for their work. I would reccomend Mikes to anyone who needs a plumber that shows up on time, gets the job done, and charges a reasonabe price!

Scheduling was efficient, professional, and prompt. Technician was kind and helpful, took the time to describe the different aspects of what was needed for repair (for us nosey customers). Their pricing was fair, and service was excellent.

They quoted us $7k to do a repair. Then they said the work on the “repair” was complete, but that it wasn’t really a repair as it would almost immediately start backing up again. But they still demanded the full $7k for a “repair” that did not repair anything. And then asked for $14k more to actually repair it. The fact that they said we were paying for a full repair that would cost a certain amount, and then acknowledged after the fact that it wasn’t really a repair, and was more of an “investigative” work, and that we now needed to triple the quoted amount to actually repair, was basically their way of getting us to quickly agree to contracting with them, and then holding us hostage to actually fix the problem once we were already contractually stuck with them. Called it “semantics.”

Dishonest and unethical. Save yourself a lot of money and heartache and go elsewhere. Even if they tell you one thing up front, and it sounds fair and accurate, they will “amend” the bid later and lock you in for substantially higher fees. It could easily bankrupt someone and they simply do not care, they’ll just put a lien on your home. Protect yourself and go with a different contractor.

Mikes plumbing was the best. They came the day I called and told me the cost up front. I would highly recommend.

Wonderful service! Outbound sewer was plugged, called Friday morning. Was told maybe they could make it Monday, then they moved services to get us service. Very surprised and appreciative of the speedy job! Will use them again!

Mike's Provided the price in advance, they cleared the drain within 20 minutes. The price for our service had a 2 hour minimum and the crew returned the next day with a different machine to provide the full 2 hours of service and a very clean drain pipe.
