Best company ever to work for and company wise ......

Their technician came to my home to clear a drain clog. The technician was professional and courteous, and gave me a detailed explanation of the process before starting the job. He started by conducting a hydro-jetting method to clear the blockage. During the procedure, he tested the line afterwards to make sure the flow was restored. He was thorough in his inspection, and even left the area much cleaner than how he found it. I was very impressed with the job.

Had a leak in my basement while out of town, I stopped freakin' and called beacon. $150 call out fee. Guy came out, told me my water heater was out and that it would be $3k to replace. I asked if he checked the flex lines leading to the water heater as I suspected those to be the issue. He said he had not, he then quoted me $500 to replace two flex water lines ($10 parts any fool with a crescent wrench could change out). I asked him to replace them since I was desperate which he did and leak persisted as it was the hot water heater. Couldn't afford $3k for a hot water heater so I asked him to not do it. Guy agreed that $500 wasn't a fair price for Beacon to charge and reduced it down for me which I greatly appreciated. Said he'd leave a receipt and the quote for the hot water heater, he didn't leave either. Did the whole water heater replacement myself two days later in less than an hour. Pretty brutal prices, but I guess that's how the news goes these days. Do yourself a favor and buy a good wrench and watch YouTube.

Prompt response - quality work

I have found my new favorite plumbing company! My kitchen sink got clogged so I tried the plunger, drain cleaners, and even got my own drain snake...nothing. The clog was too deep in the pipes. I called Bob Oates late Friday and they they had someone out by 9am the next day. Their names were Henry and Dino. They were very polite and professional. They set up their machine and had my drain cleared in under 5 minutes. I have water again!!! They even tried to put everything back under my sink. In my past experiences with other companies the workers are willing to leave a mess for you to clean, not these guys. They also wore footies and a mask before entering. I was so surprised how quick and efficient they were. I will 100% use this company again and refer them to my family and friends. Thank you Bob Oates Sewer and Rooter!

I used Zoltan to help me plumb an existing shower that I demo'ed. Zoltan caught a few code violation issues that I didn't catch which was well worth of his services. Zoltan is a Master Plumber and highly skilled. I am in the construction industry as well and Zoltan is the best residential plumber I've worked with in the Seattle area. I have elected to sole source to Zoltan for my future new construction projects.

This company is AMAZING! I received a $2000 water bill from the city and was in a panic. Called numerous companies to find someone who could detect a leak, after all the shut downs and limited capacity due to Covid, my small business is struggling. Each company that I called wanted to charge upwards of $1600 just to find a leak and many couldn't get me in until next week and some just were not interested in the job. It was about a 75 foot run and the pipe was only 2.5 feet down, so a fairly easy job. I called Akers and immediately could tell the difference in customer service. The receptionist was friendly, asked all the right questions and got back with me immediately sending someone over on the day I called. Andrew showed up right on time and was efficient, professional, and very kind and helpful. He found the leak immediately and also gave me some great advice for next steps so we could save some money and be within regulation with the city. Akers is very fair priced and the customer service is phenomenal. I have kept their card and will be calling them for any future challenges and plan to recommend them to all of my friends. I can't say enough nice things about how this company operated today, I am SO grateful!

I was remodeling my master bathroom when the water pipe for the toilet got cut with a sawzaw. Water was everywhere. I called even and he had Norm there in 30minutes on a weekend. He had it fixed in 20minutes. They were super friendly, quick and clean. Thanks for saving my bathroom.

They told us they will replace a part in our water heater, instead they replaced the whole unit with one in their own inventory charging us for double the price for the same unit in the market. They took our original unit with themselves and after we asked them to return it the day after, they said they have tossed it out! We emailed them and asked questions about the unit replacement without our consent, and they called my husband and threatened him of consequences! So in short, we got a fast service, but we paid double price, we lost our own unit (which only needed a part to come back to life), and we were threatened the same day for asking questions about their decision.
