I hired Zoltan to advise me on my DIY underground bathroom rough in, and he was extremely helpful. He came out the day after I requested him, and for a reasonable price he spent time advising me on the details of my underground plumbing project. The job was extensive, I hadn’t done this work before, and with Zoltan’s help I was able to pass my inspection smoothly. He was detailed, and knew his stuff. I will definitely work with Zoltan again, and would trust him with any plumbing project.

Mike and Jeremy came to do mini splits. They were very professional and even helped us figure out a setup more customized to our older home (ducted mini splits). They were super careful about cleanup and always punctual. Mike even alerted me to an ant problem in our eaves, which definitely wasn’t part of his job. Easy to work with all the way around.

Evan was extremely professional and helpful when I recently had to replace a leaking hot water heater. He provided great information on options, and gave me detailed information ahead of time about costs and the process. When doing the install, he was very through and careful. I would definitely use his company again.

Steve installed a tankless (on demand) gas water heater for us, relocated the gas piping, and installed new venting and a recirculating pump. Service was excellent, timely, and very professional at a very fair price. Would definitely recommend to anyone.

This was our third experience with Chris Walker from Gene Johnson Plumbing and just as positive as the prior two visits. We always call Chris when we have a problem with our hydronic radiant heating system, because he is an expert in those, as well as regular plumbing issues. Chris always arrives on time. He has excellent communication skills and that includes explaining your options and providing helpful tips on how to avoid problems in the future. He is fast and thorough in his work. We highly recommend Chris. Setting up an appointment with Gene Johnson is also quick and easy, so it's a totally positive experience overall. If you need a plumber, you should call them first.

I am very happy I chose this company. I did pause when I heard they wanted to charge me for the estimate, but they really did refund the estimate when I gave them the project. They came out and helped me figure out the best location for my laundry center in my new condo. Since there were no as-builts to work from, we had to cut into a wall (different visit - I'd gone to the city to see if they had something on record but no results) to check on the availability of code-compliant drain/vent/supply lines. Then they gave me an estimate including the permit costs, and away we went. They had to cut off the water to the entire building because our old building didn't have sectional shutoff valves and this delayed the start of the project by three days (so we could properly post the warnings). Friday, they installed the plumbing and called for the rough-in inspection. Monday, the inspector came through, made a comment about the work being nicely done and gave approval on the rough-in. That afternoon, Gama came back out to cap off the test lines, etc. and this morning, had the final plumbing inspection. Everything is working beautifully!! I'm a very happy person. My next projects with this company will include replacing my too-large hot water heater, bathtub and sink fixtures, and anything else that bugs me along the way.

PJ and the team came to the rescue for me. My home ran into a serious plumbing issue, with a sewer line that needed to be replaced. Our whole household was in emergency mode — we couldn't take a shower, flush, or even wash our hands normally.

PJ and the team went well beyond the call of duty, working late into the night on a holiday weekend to get us operational again. They didn't have to do that — but I am so appreciative that they did!
