Best Hot Water Heaters in Seattle WA
Replacement of four shower valves, fixing several smaller items that were done incorrectly by previous owner. Conal was on time, thorough and had good ideas on how to make things work in a tight space for the hook-up of a washer/dryer combination. Definitely recommend!

Evan Conklin Plumbing and Heating is THE company to call for any type of hot water situation. I worked there as an apprentice about 4 years ago, and can attest to the integrity of the owner. Since then, I have started my own plumbing business, and have referred them for boiler repairs. Their man, Anthony, is a walking encyclopedia of boiler knowledge, and Evan knows everything there is to know about plumbing, heating, and nuclear reactors. I highly recommend them for plumbing and heating work.

I recently used Green Planet Plumbing and Sewer to replace my water heater. This was not a straight forward job.
The water heater was tucked into a small alcove in my utility room and blocked by a small cabinet (with a sink) and a washing machine. The old 50-gallon unit had a power vent. I called numerous plumbing companies, including the largest in Seattle. I was faced with companies who: couldn’t come out and provide me with a bid until the following week, gave me astronomical bids, told me certain things were not possible, or insisted that I move the sink cabinet and the washing machine. Really??? One plumber said the job was too “messy” and wasn’t interested.
When my service technician, Justin, provided me with the bid, he suggested an idea others hadn’t and was able to do the job without moving a cabinet that every other plumber claimed needed to be moved.
Justin performed the service today - and I couldn't be happier. He is extremely knowledgeable, professional, conscientious, and personable.
I would also like to recognize Jeremiah. Due to the schedule, I would need to wait a few days for a new water heater. Knowing I had not had hot water for days, Jeremiah offered to do his best to see what he could do. Through his unprompted efforts, I had my new water heater the next day.
I am so pleased with my service that I brought over a neighbor who has rental houses, to meet Justin and asked for some additional cards to give to my friends in the neighborhood.
I’ll be taking a bath tonight!

I highly recommend Joe the Plumber. He is the only plumber my husband and I trust with our 1941 home. He has saved us money when other companies tried to take advantage of us. Neither of us are handymen and we can depend on Joe.

I have used Rudy's for years. Not only as a subcontractor but also on my own home. For everything from rough in to finish. They get the job done right the first time, prices are very fair and their people are friendly. Can't say enough good stuff about them. The only negative is they can be a little hard to nail down but they are worth it. So if they don't return your call the first time give them a couple chances, it's worth your time.

When you think of getting a water heater replaced for the first time it can be an overwhelming ordeal. However, I just had an A+ experience with Evan N. from ProMax Plumbing. I called on Monday morning at 7:30am about a leaky tank that needed to be replaced and he had a written estimate to us by 10am! Not only that, but he was able to get to our condo the next morning. He was extremely professional, open, honest, and took pride in his work. I would definitely recommend Evan and his business for your water heater needs. Will definitely be recommending him to family and friends! Thank you Evan for your professional service!

Watch out for these guys, as they will try to rip you off as much as possible! Very dishonest people.
They inspected our 5-yr old tankless water heater and identified that a part had to be replaced. After we gave them the go ahead on replacing the part (heat exchanger) worth < $300, without our consent, they replaced the whole unit (which they provided themselves with a 60% mark-up for $2,000). And then they threatened consequences if we didn't pay the price immediately.
When we asked in a respectful manner why the mark-up was unreasonable and why we hadn't been notified of switch from part replacement to unit, Evan (owner) started using curse words and started threatening.
After we paid them, we asked for our old unit (one day after their service), they said they had tossed it out and it couldn't be retrieved.
Having said all of that, they responded promptly with a same day service and everything was back online and working after 3 hours, so if you don't mind them stealing from you, this business can be a good choice.
We recommend getting a 2nd opinion if they tell you the unit has to go.

Tough problem - A significant leak with no visible surface moisture and over 250 feet of potential sources. Kevin was able to find it quickly, and then verify using other methods it before we committed to taking up a bit of asphalt. His 'X marks the probable spot' missed by maybe 4 inches. My wife and I fixed our 1000 gallon/day leak ourselves before dinner. Kevin's bill was higher than I'd have liked, due to the complex nature of the problem and the need to use helium to confirm the probable location of the leak, but the fix cost us a $20 trip to Lowes, some beer and take out food! Kevin was very friendly and easy to communicate with. We were happy to pay for the right tools in the hand of a seasoned pro. Highly recommend.

I am very happy to have found Queen Plumbing, they'll be my go-to source for all of our plumbing needs going forward. We had a fairly urgent need late on a Friday afternoon, and they were able to come out to diagnose and fix the issue. Super friendly, professional, responsive, and flexible. Not only did Steve fix our issue, but he followed up to make sure everything was still functioning properly. Highly recommend!

I have used 2 Sons Plumbing two times over the last 12m, mainly because of Tony, their technician. Tony did such a great job the first time around that I requested him for a 2nd job at another property. He's extremely professional, knowledgeable and genuine. I don't trust any other technician except for Tony now; I've used 3-4 other local companies in the past and they were all horrible, dishonest and didn't do a complete job Those other experiences don't even compare to Tony's knowledge and professionalism. He's the absolute best and I'm extremely happy with him. Also, 2 Sons front office do an excellent job of following up on their technicians estimated arrival time, if they are running late, etc. They are also extremely prompt and professional.

Sam, came early rather than later. He was most efficient, polite and knowledgeable. He examined the problem and went to work right away and solved the immediate problem He demonstrated and explained to me what the problem was and provided economical solutions in order to prevent reoccurrence. I was so impressed with his options. He could have recommended expensive options and what could I have said being a recent widow not used to handling emergent household maintenance problems. I’m so grateful that Sam was sent to my home today. He even mentioned that I should call my homeowners insurance company. which I did right away.

just talked to these guys. they wanted $79 just to show up. I asked if it would then go towards the job. Nope! I don't even know them or the price, why would I just give them $79? Hey said, dude it costs $100 for a piece of plywood. obviously we are not a good fit. good bye.

I contacted Ally and had nothing but good experiences with them. There was a manufacturer defect with a pump that they installed (no fault of their own). They came out immediately and replaced it with an even better pump at no charge to me. I will be using them for all my plumbing needs and am quite glad I found them in the many plumbing options there are to choose from.
I hope you try them and appreciate them, as I have.

Unfortunately, my experience dealing with the owner was really negative and he was incredibly confrontational and unprofessional. Grumpy and rude from the start of the phone call. I was trying to reschedule a service last-minute due to an honest mistake, and instead of working with me, he refused to help and repeatedly complained about having too many phone calls to answer and only two guys in the field. Then he called me rude for daring to reschedule after I sincerely apologized for the mistake. When I asked for the name of his business, and he hung up on me. Such class.
So - if you want to hire someone with a terrible attitude who makes you feel like they are doing you a favor by working for money, hire the Seattle Plumbing Company! If you want personable and professional, look elsewhere. You'll be doing this guy a favor since he's got way too many phone calls to answer as it is. He doesn't want your business, and he's not afraid to show it!
Edit: the owner's response below is completely untruthful. Hopefully this is just because he has forgotten what actually happened and not because he is deliberately lying. He and his team were informed BEFORE the scheduled install that it would need to be rescheduled, and were contacted by me the following day with a request to work us into the schedule SOMETIME IN THE NEXT TWO WEEKS. This was met with the rudeness and unprofessionalism described in my original review.
