Best Gas Line Repair in Seattle WA

We woke up the day before thanksgiving to find our water heater was leaking and called our usual plumber. They were so rude and unhelpful on the phone that we decided enough was enough, so I looked on Google to find a trusted and reputable plumber in the Seattle area, this is how I first came across Fox plumbing. I called their central number at about 8.30am. My information was taken and I was told that a service technician would call to our home before 10.00am. I got a call about 45 mins later from 'James' saying he wanted to explain to us how 'things worked' with regard to him calling out, inspecting the problem, providing a quote, conducting the approved work etc. There was total transparency about the process. James arrived at 9.59am! assessed the situation, provided a quote and timeline for completion. Our old water heater was still in warranty, James took the information and liaised with the company to get us a replacement, picked it up, and installed it. We will definitely use Fox plumbing in the future if we have any problems, they were extremely friendly and worked to a high standard.

I'm callin MarshawnAfter 3 missed appointments on 3 different days the Beacon Plumbing Furnace technician made a poor attempt pressing hard for a complete $3,000 furnace replacement by jacking the repair cost and cleaning to $1,600. What was needed was a fuse replacement... oh, and PLUS the $75 inspection fee. I made the mistake of assuming a large local brand would be the best version of themselves - even on a small job to get someone's heat running.

We had a leak from our ceiling to the basement and Ridgid Plumbing showed up on time and prepared and fixed the leaked and very helpful and also referred us to a water restoration company and how to work with our insurance company. Definitely calling again and would recommend to everyone in need of plumbing

Toilet seal was leaking.

Nick and his crew were able to re-pipe my house in just one day, as promised. They were respectful and cleaned up when they left. Unfortunately I had a small leak at a connection, but they came back when i called, corrected the leak, and re-configured my tub and shower valves to my satisfaction. Their bid was significantly below the competing company that offers re-pipe services. I would recommend Re pipe Masters based on my experience.

Had them come out for a hot water heater repair, right on time and very professional. Also, the guy wasn’t equipped to fix the problem I had, but he told me how to do it myself and then didn’t charge me for the visit, saying he doesn’t like charging people when he doesn’t fix the problem.

Didn’t fix my issue, but it wasn’t their fault, and overall found them to be very trustworthy. Would recommend.

Sharif came out and was absolutely top-notch to work with. He was very transparent (not at all salesly) when talking about the longevity of our furnace, was able to fix a component of our Nest thermostat free-of charge, and gave a recommendation about how to self-service our water heater. Sharif's customer service was superb and would recommend him for any of your heating & plumbing needs!

They did not explain their fees up front, and so it was surprising when I got the final bill. Two guys arrived to clear an outside drain. They brought a drill powered snake. After trying to clear it for less than half an hour they determined I had a hole in my drain and someone else had to come repair the pipe. Fair enough. But the final bill was just under $300. $100 for the service call, $150 for labor, and a $20 machine charge. That works out to $300/hour for labor, or a minimum of an hour for two people when the job really didn't need two. I really wish I had understood how they charged ahead of time, I would have called some else.

Everyone I dealt with was fantastic, friendly, concerned and knowledgeable. Technicians came out the same day, quickly identified my problem, took care of what could be done immediately, and offered me great advice that lead to clear lines, and a super cost effective resolution. I can not thank them enough. Highly recommended!

My go to for all of my plumbing needs. We've used them for a number of projects from whole house water filter, toilet setting and also the sewer main etc. where we've had root intrusion for the upstairs and downstairs lines. Tyler is fantastic to work with and extremely knowledgeable. Highly recommend.

The sink in my kitchen was broken. This plumber came out on short notice and solved the problem with complete confidence. They were efficient, reasonably priced, and conscientious in their work. Everything about it was above and beyond my wildest dreams.

Watch out for these guys, as they will try to rip you off as much as possible! Very dishonest people.
They inspected our 5-yr old tankless water heater and identified that a part had to be replaced. After we gave them the go ahead on replacing the part (heat exchanger) worth < $300, without our consent, they replaced the whole unit (which they provided themselves with a 60% mark-up for $2,000). And then they threatened consequences if we didn't pay the price immediately.
When we asked in a respectful manner why the mark-up was unreasonable and why we hadn't been notified of switch from part replacement to unit, Evan (owner) started using curse words and started threatening.
After we paid them, we asked for our old unit (one day after their service), they said they had tossed it out and it couldn't be retrieved.

Having said all of that, they responded promptly with a same day service and everything was back online and working after 3 hours, so if you don't mind them stealing from you, this business can be a good choice.
We recommend getting a 2nd opinion if they tell you the unit has to go.

I love Joe the Plumber and recommend him to anyone looking for plumbing services in the Seattle area. Joe has done a handful for projects for me and has always been great to work with and great at what he does. Joe has also been fabulous as a resource - recently I embarked on a small plumbing installation of my own and even then he reached out and answered questions for me and talked me through the procedure free of charge.
