Best Gas Line Repair in Seattle WA

Fox Plumbing, Heating & Cooling - Seattle Plumber
I called Fox after discovering a leak under my kitchen sink. Fox was able to get a technician out quickly and was very flexible with scheduling. An hour before my appointment I got an email with the technician's name and photo letting me know the technician was on his way, along with a phone call. The technician that performed the work, Rick, was very friendly and professional, thoroughly explained the needed repair beforehand - basically walked me through everything. He performed the repair quickly and thoroughly and left everything spotless - was in and out in a flash. Super easy and all at a very reasonable price. Fox will be my go to plumber from now on!

PRO Plumbing & Drain Services Plumber
I have to work from home, therefore I am quite busy and only have a small amount of time to deal with things. When my garbage disposal broke, I phoned a local plumber who was able to come out the same day and fix it quickly. They perform a great job and even fixed my garbage disposal for a reasonable fee!

Beacon Plumbing Plumber
Plumbing is not cheap these days, and I wanted to install a whole house water treatment system, with a bypass system.I thought about doing this myself. Plumbing is not my skill and I knew a DIY mistake could potentially cost me even more time and money. I've been down that road before! We just moved into a new house and I didn't want to take that risk for this install. The Job:- Install a whole house water filter treatment system that consisted of a pre-filter and two very large tanks.- Install a bypass system, to circumvent the filters for whatever reason.Installing a whole house water treatment system is not a small or simple task. On top of that, I also wanted the finished product to look amazing! I definitely didn't want the installation to look like some hack or amateur did the work. Also, most importantly, I didn't want to be ripped off and I needed to find someone to do the job correctly.I wasn't sure who to call, I was nervous I would get someone who didn't have much experience... Basically, I was starting to freak out!I had heard about Beacon Plumbing and found out this company gives back to the community. I decided to make an appointment and give Beacon Plumbing a call.Beacon Plumbing assigned Matt D., to this project. After having a single conversation with Matt D., I had 100% confidence in Matt's ability.Matt D., turned out to be a smart and classy guy, he went over my idea of what I had envisioned. After our conversation, I was no longer concerned. I could tell Matt knew his stuff and that he would be able to take on this project.Matt D., came up with an excellent design, with strategically placed valves for the bypass system and he even improved on my idea and added a couple water spouts so I would be able to connect a hose and flush out the tanks in the future when they need to be replaced.Beacon's prices were competitive. I even signed up for the Beacon Membership, it was $200 but it gave me better pricing which almost cancelled out the membership fee. This membership will give me priority service and a discount on future jobs. Matt D., even let me know about a $50 internet coupon I could apply to the job. Not too shabby! The finished job turned out even better than I had expected. It is beyond amazing and looks very professional! This job was supposed to originally take 4-6 hours, it took almost 8 hours and Matt D., didn't try and rush to finish. He did the job right and took the time he needed. It's hard to find that kind of service these days!A BIG THANKS to the man Matt D., Bill, and Beacon Plumbing!!You won't go wrong if you give Beacon Plumbing a call! Now I can stop Freakin' for real!

Repipe Masters Plumber
Repipe Masters were great. They showed up early with 5 workers, repiped my entire house, patched the dry wall, did additional work I requested that was not part of the agreement (replaced my shower fixture taht was not working) and cleaned up all in one day. They were pleasant, knew their craft and performed masterfully. I thought I was going to have no water for at least 2 days. But I was able to shower in the morning and then wash my dishes after dinner that same evening. I highly recommend them!

Clearwater Leak Detection, Inc. Plumber
Puyallup City Water Dept notified us we had a leak which needed fixing. Our go-to plumbing services (Spartan Rooter of Tacoma) recommended Simon at Clearwater Leak Detection. I called him and scheduled an appointment (only several days after my call). Our leak was located with some difficulty because it was a small one in the main water line coming from the meter to the house, but it was located underneath a sidewalk about 5' deep. Simon located it perfectly. He also recommended we replace our water shutoff valve next to the house because it was an old type that was prone to break. We then called 811 and had the location marked with whatever other underground utilities there were - several were close. After that, Spartan came out and repaired the leak and replaced the shutoff valve. Simon is very knowledgeable and pleasant to deal with. We recommend him 100% - nice to have had such a pro help us out.

Evan Conklin Plumbing & Heating Inc. Plumber
Evan Conklin is a dirty weasel. Roughly two years ago we hired him to replace a 7 year old water heater in one of our rental properties. The water heater is located in the attic, a place we obviously don't see much of. Well recently when our tenants called and said they had no hot water we called Evan to take a look at things. He said the water heater was broken again and that we would need to replace it again. We couldn't believe it. Our gut told us to get a second opinion . We have now been told the water heater we currently have in the attic is from 2006. Evan Conklin charged us for a brand new heater that he never even installed. Be careful.

SODO Plumbing and Mechanical Plumber
Had them come out for a hot water heater repair, right on time and very professional. Also, the guy wasn’t equipped to fix the problem I had, but he told me how to do it myself and then didn’t charge me for the visit, saying he doesn’t like charging people when he doesn’t fix the problem.

Didn’t fix my issue, but it wasn’t their fault, and overall found them to be very trustworthy. Would recommend.

Watertite Plumbing, Heating, and Sewer, LLC Plumber
I'm so glad I found Sharif. Now I have a plumber I can trust. Things that set Sharif and Watertite Plumbing apart:
1. When you call, you're actually talking directly to a plumber (Sharif). No intermediate person who just does scheduling and can't answer any of your questions.
2. Sharif will generally give you an estimate over the phone based on a description and pictures. None of this paying someone $100 just to come out and look at it nonsense. He'll also be honest about what factors that can't be evaluated this way might cause the estimate to change, but generally will stick with his original estimate and that's what you'll pay for the whole job.
3. He will keep in direct contact with you and update you if something's changed his schedule and he won't be able to make it when he estimated he would (no 4-hour windows sitting around at home wondering if someone will ever show up).
4. He'll tell you honestly about the price of different options and the pros and cons.
5. He'll use appropriate urgency to address a problem.

My interactions:
I first contacted Sharif about installing a smart water shutoff. Based on pictures, he gave me an estimate and said what problem might arise that would require additional work. This was totally different than the handful of other plumbers I called, where I spoke to a scheduling person who wanted to schedule a $100 for someone to come by for an estimate. I ended up installing the shutoff myself, but based on my interactions, I knew who I would go to the next time I had a plumbing problem. So when the waterline to my house started leaking, I called up Sharif on a Friday afternoon. He was able to come by that evening and worked in the dark to dig up and identify the leak. We talked through options and what they would cost. Because I had old rusted out galvanized, the whole thing had to be replaced. Throughout the process Sharif was communicative about the work needed and when he'd be doing it, didn't charge more than his original estimate (even when it turned out he needed to also move my interior shutoff), and gave some advice on unrelated plumbing things (like how I could make my sewage extractor less stinky).

Next time I have a plumbing issue, I wouldn't consider calling anyone else.

Great service, great price. They do one thing and they do it well - clear drains. Because they don't sell plumbing services, there is little risk of the dreaded upsell. I will use them again if I have occasion to do so.

Seattle's Best Plumbing & Rooter LLC Plumber
I had Ryan plumb for a new tub, shower, and bathroom sink. He also installed a new toilet. Ryan always showed up when he said he would, was very good at communicating, very respectful of my home, and is HONEST. His installation was professionally done, and he cleaned up after each visit.
Ryan also installed a recirculation pump which produces instant hot water to the bathrooms that are located on the opposite side of the house where the hot water tank sits. This now saves us several gallons of water each time we turn on a faucet instead of waiting for the hot water to arrive.
I higher recommend Ryan for any of your plumbing needs.

Seattle Hot Water Co. Plumber
Watch out for these guys, as they will try to rip you off as much as possible! Very dishonest people.
They inspected our 5-yr old tankless water heater and identified that a part had to be replaced. After we gave them the go ahead on replacing the part (heat exchanger) worth < $300, without our consent, they replaced the whole unit (which they provided themselves with a 60% mark-up for $2,000). And then they threatened consequences if we didn't pay the price immediately.
When we asked in a respectful manner why the mark-up was unreasonable and why we hadn't been notified of switch from part replacement to unit, Evan (owner) started using curse words and started threatening.
After we paid them, we asked for our old unit (one day after their service), they said they had tossed it out and it couldn't be retrieved.

Having said all of that, they responded promptly with a same day service and everything was back online and working after 3 hours, so if you don't mind them stealing from you, this business can be a good choice.
We recommend getting a 2nd opinion if they tell you the unit has to go.
