This is my first time ever leaving a review. I am so thankful for One Sources help at 4:30 am I had to share it. I woke to water coming from the kitchen upstairs through the lights in my downstairs bathroom. A pipe malfunctioned on the dishwasher and was flowing onto the kitchen floor and then flooding the kitchen. I frantically called 4 plumbers who said 24hr service but it turns out they just have an answering service and I was told someone would get back to me. No one did. The 5th company was One Source and he talked me through how to shut off the water which turns out to be pretty easy if you know where to look. I wasn't charged anything and it was just a very nice decent thing to do for someone at that ungodly hour in the morning. Thank you, Thank you!!

I have had a recurring issue with my toilet that had become a real embarrassment when I had guests over. Other companies have given me estimates to fix it / replace it, but it was just too pricey. When I finally called O'Grady plumbing they informed me it didn't have to cost me an arm and a leg. I was sold on a low flow toilet that will actually save me money in the long run. Extremely friendly folks - highly skilled labor. Pro tip: buy the hardware yourself to avoid a %500 markup and they’ll still come by and install at a reasonable labor rate. Don’t accept their hardware included cost, ask them what is needed and save yourself hundreds of dollars, they’ll come right back and do an expert job.

Get the price quotes in writing BEFORE service is started. They replaced my garbage disposal and toilet fill valve. I asked for a quote and he said $200+ for parts. I asked for a TOTAL cost of parts and labor and he quoted me $500+. I said great, let’s do it. Total time took 45 minutes and he presented me with a bill for $757.50. You can see the attached invoice that he charged me $515.00 for the service. WHAT??? Literally less than an hour of “service” time and more than twice the cost of parts?? I’ve called twice to speak to someone but they don’t block time to return calls so the person on the phone doesn’t know when someone will get back to me.

These guys were great. I called them out initially do to a test only for the Oakland sewer lateral compliance program. Economy Plumbing is the Best!!

About 70% of the sewer pipes that run from the street into the homes in San Francisco are over 100 years old and are made of clay. Economy Plumbing has been in business in San Francisco for over 30 years, so they have replaced a ton of old sewer pipes in their time.

I hired Economy Plumbing because our neighbor's sewer pipe backed up and flooded part of their downstairs and subsequently, they hired the company to replace their 100+ year-old broken clay sewer pipe.

Daniel Griffin who is president of the company was extremely professional. He recommended that I have my sewer pipe scoped with a small camera to find out if it was modern or original (about $200). A few days later, they looked scoped the pipe and could see that the pipe was badly broken, so I hired Economy Plumbing on the spot to replace the my old sewer pipe asap.

A sewer line replacement, takes a few days to do. They send out a small team that includes a plumber/manager and guys to do the dirty work. They take out a section of the sidewalk, dig down to the old pipe, replace the old pipe with a new one and have a city inspector come out to sign off on the work. The total amount of time you are without the use of your toilet is only a few hours.

Plumbing issues are never any fun to deal with, but I am very glad I did this before and not after my home had flooded too. The team at Economy Plumbing are total pros!
