Early Saturday morning I realized I had no hot water. I went into the garage to see our 9 year old water heater leaking profusely. We've used Ace in the past for a disposal issue so I called them again. They accommodated my schedule and came that day. I was extra fortunate to have the capable and professional team of Eugenio R. and Edgar come to my home. They worked all afternoon and into the night finding the perfect water heater replacement and installing it securely. They were respectful, as unobtrusive as possible, did a stellar job and left the garage space completely clean. Thank you Eugenio and Edgar.

My business had a simple broken mixer, we reached out to Roto-Rooter on Monday and had an appointment scheduled for Tuesday 8am-12pm.

1. They no-call, no-showed first appointment
2. We called and they said they would be in that afternoon.
3. They then rescheduled to the following morning Wednesday 8am-12pm
4. They no-call, no-showed third appointment
5. I called and said Hi, if you're unable to make it I can totally find another plumber. they said No, someone will be in before 5pm today
6. They no-call, no-showed FOURTH APPOINTMENT
7. When we called them for a final time, they said they couldn't arrange anyone until SATURDAY... and that it was outside of their control.

So, essentially they strung us along with an unfixed issue for 4 days when we could have easily reached out to another provider. Then sent a text saying it was it couldn't be helped due to staffing issues beyond our control

We've worked with this company on several occasion for toilet and sewer clogs and backup. They are very professional and responsive. We had scheduled for them to come out for a follow-up appointment after the initial meeting to look at some sewage smell emanating up and our toilets bubbling when multiple people shower consecutively. We had a sewer line blockage a month back so I was worried again this was indications of another back up. They came out to honor the 30 day warranty and scheduled us in the next day to bring a camera and snake.They are very prompt with their arrival and great communication throughout letting us know if they are running behind or needed to reschedule. Yoshua is very patient with explaining the diagnosis and walking us through the solution and options to minimize the recurrence of blocks.Great company that's responsive and easy to work with and actually delivers through with showing up. Kudos to this company for providing services that we all take for granted until things are backed up.

I can't say enough about what a great job Angelo and his crew from Discount Plumbing did with our rental home in Oakland. Angelo called me right away to set up a next day estimate. He and his crew were on time and very thorough. originally, it look like it was going to a straight forward trenchless project and Angelos's quote came in well below several other bids.

Angelo and the crew got to work on time the next day and we were lucky enough to get the once in a blue moon plumbing disaster. A city tree had a root that grew into the line and ran over 52 feet to the house from street. Angelo called me right away and kept myself and my up-to-date with multiple messages as our simple trenchless project turned into a massive multiple trench sewer excavation. After seeing the extensive work that had to be performed it was an incredible relief when Angelo gave us the additional expense from the original quote which was incredibly reasonable. At this point we were at his mercy and I felt that he made sure that he didn't take advantage of the situation. In this day I think this type of honesty is hard to come by and it almost brought me to tears.

Angelo and his crew worked long hours for two days on our little sewer project and they we so professional. The kept the area as clean as possible and communicated clearly with my neighbors, my renter and myself. Angelo was so extremely helpful and positive even as the project got bigger and bigger.

We found Discount Plumbing through all of the fantastic BBB and we could be more pleased than with the support, They earned my highest recommendation and I mean earned it!

My dishwasher was inexplicably filling up with water overnight. I called Genteel to schedule an appointment. Marcus came by within the first hour of the time window. He said the dishwasher wasn't a plumbing issue, so I had him inspect all the sinks in our house. We ended up asking him to unclog one of the bathroom sinks, which came out to $289, and Marcus did a great job. The solutions for the other sink problems were too complicated for the time.

Of note, I was told there was not a dispatch fee, but Marcus mentioned that there was a $45 dispatch fee that was then waived when I asked him to unclog the sink. Not sure that I would have asked for the service if he hadn't mentioned the fee.

Only issue we had was getting bill emailed to us. We requested it at least 3 times - 2 different email addresses & finally got it almost a month later.

Diagnosed the problem immediately on our Kohler toilet and fixed it within an hour! Highly recommended! Phil knows his plumbing and Kohler products! No more dripping!

My water heater decided to break down on Sunday. I called AB Plumbing and luckily they were open. Great service. Basilio came out, was very friendly and helpful and got the heater up and running again.

It’s always nerve-racking when you’re trying to find a plumber or other type of home repair company. J Drains came referred from a coworker who had used them recently extremely nice and straightforward. They were one of the few companies were willing to give a quote over the phone or they came quickly and offered many options for repairs and allow me to choose the one. I thought that was best. Definitely recommend them if you need any type of plumbing work.

Been using these guys for years for projects big and small. They do great work and they are incredibly honest. They tell you what you need and do only that. The speed and quality is top notch. I can’t imagine using anyone else.

Efron, Johan and Jorge are the absolute best plumbers in the business. I can call them at a moments notice and they come running. They go above and beyond to do great work and their prices are great too. Highly recommend these guys. Just all-around great family business.

I just posted a photo of the new toilet Ace installed. Our house has had Ace out numerous times to resolve various issues relating to our building's age (1880's) and the shoddy DIY work of previous owners. These guys have always been nice. Upfront, accurate estimates before work begins. In this particular bathroom Ace advised us we could either keep fighting the issue or simply replace the toilet. They let me select, from the variety at the big box hardware store, for whichever toilet would meet my needs (and fit). Dude! I so wish we'd done this long ago. It looks so sweet and the flush so reliable without threatening to overflow.

Johnny and Joe have worked on my rentals over the years and are honest and very good at what they do. They always have my best interest at heart and I appreciate that. Great Customer Service .
