On-time service. Good work. Jonathan really stayed on top of things including dealing with the city permits, not an easy task.

Our gutter downspouts & the drainfields for each were very clogged with years of tree needles etc. We tried diligently to clean & hose them out ,usually in a rain storm with water running on our patios & decks. Plumbers really had no options & then we called Roto- Rooter. Farid arrived timly, explained the process & his specialized equipment , took downspouts off ,cleaned them, jet sprayed the drainfields ,put all back together & fully cleaned up the mess. I recommend Farid & this service with my highest recommendation & we are already advising friends & real estate agents that we work with, of the service, as I'm sure it is a common problem in the northwest. Farid was courteous , polite, prompt & professional. Finally, the costs for the job were very reasonable given the result of solving the hassle of dealing with the issue. Working with R&L Plumbing was a horrible experience. I requested a flat fee for installing two toilets which was provided to me and agreed upon by both parties (in writing). I requested this fee to be flat to avoid any issues with billing down the road.

Halfway through the job, the company tried to charge me much more because it was taking his technician longer than he wanted it to. On top of only half finishing the job, they installed a scratched toilet seat (which they're making right, thank you!). To date, the company has refused to settle on a final number for payment despite me making concessions and coming up from the quoted number we agreed prior to the job starting. He's hung up on me and refused to take phone calls to discuss.

He didn't install the second toilet because I wasn't comfortable having them come back into my home after how they've treated me on the phone and via text message. He's threatening to take this to small claims court and put a lien on my house even though I'm trying to come to a payment number both parties can agree on. This company is not professional, I recommend staying away at all costs. He's unfortunately not an honest business person who sticks to written agreements.

I can't say enough about what a great job Angelo and his crew from Discount Plumbing did with our rental home in Oakland. Angelo called me right away to set up a next day estimate. He and his crew were on time and very thorough. originally, it look like it was going to a straight forward trenchless project and Angelos's quote came in well below several other bids.

Angelo and the crew got to work on time the next day and we were lucky enough to get the once in a blue moon plumbing disaster. A city tree had a root that grew into the line and ran over 52 feet to the house from street. Angelo called me right away and kept myself and my up-to-date with multiple messages as our simple trenchless project turned into a massive multiple trench sewer excavation. After seeing the extensive work that had to be performed it was an incredible relief when Angelo gave us the additional expense from the original quote which was incredibly reasonable. At this point we were at his mercy and I felt that he made sure that he didn't take advantage of the situation. In this day I think this type of honesty is hard to come by and it almost brought me to tears.

Angelo and his crew worked long hours for two days on our little sewer project and they we so professional. The kept the area as clean as possible and communicated clearly with my neighbors, my renter and myself. Angelo was so extremely helpful and positive even as the project got bigger and bigger.

We found Discount Plumbing through all of the fantastic BBB and we could be more pleased than with the support, They earned my highest recommendation and I mean earned it!

As usual, SMP was prompt, courteous, efficient, and expertly handled our water heater problem. I give SMP 5 stars.

AB Plumbing installed gas pipe for our bbq and the service is so professional, clean and fast. The technicians were amazing and they break down all the costs and materials clearly. Definitely, I will work with this company again!

the guys from smelly mel's were great. our sump pump motor went out and made a huge mess in our basement. they were fast, efficient, super nice and had a smile on their faces, regardless of the mess they were navigating. i had a fantastic experience. the pricing was fair. plumping is hard work! i am grateful for their work.
