He did it in only a couple hours and left the place in better order than he found it - cleaned up after himself and explained clearly how to operate the newly installed 40 gallon HWHeater. Also, I requested to send plumbers as soon as possible, and they sent Jack within an hour to fix the leakage. I was really impressed with his knowledge and quality of service at a very reasonable price in San Diego. This company really looks after its customers. My toilet was backed up. Ruben gave me two options he could auger the toilet or pull the toilet. I told him I had changed toilet paper to a two ply. We decided to try the auger. It worked. He was very professional and polite. I would definitely ARS and Ruben.

They are professional experts at reasonable prices. In addition to installing a new a/c & heating unit. They also upgraded my old cast iron kitchen plumbing which was leaking under the house, which they had to cutout & repair the drywall. The repair looks like nothing ever happened. They cleaned up and even hauled away all the old plumbing. Your mind is put at ease when they explain the problem and how they are going to repair it. Amazingly honest. Ace Contractors unclogged a sink drain this afternoon when I mistakenly thought I needed hydro jetting because so many of my neighbors were having rooter rooting done. I didn't need it and they didn't do it saving me lots of money. I am really happy with this Ace experience. Highly Recommended. I know I'll be calling Ace Contractor for my next plumbing needs.

We called because our kitchen sink was backed up and a friend referred us to this company. The tech who came was John and he was super knowledagable and professional. He quickly cleared the backed up drain and fixed our problem. Pricing was very fair

Excellent communication across the board - really appreciate Brandon, one of the female team members who was excellent with coordinating the work (I believe her name starts with an M - just drawing a blank) and lastly Reuben and his team who fixed and lined our sewer. Would highly recommend. Very professional.

We had been having problems with our furnace since last winter. I had three HVAC companies come out and none of them could figure out the issue. I was referred to this company by the manufacture of my furnace and after I explain the situation they sent us their most experienced technician, Matthew Getz. He performed an extensive 2.5 hour diagnostic and found the problem yet only charged their standard $89 diagnostic fee. He provided me a quote and the price was very reasonable so I went ahead and did the repair. After he installed the new part he did another full how do you affection to ensure everything was working properly. He also he also noticed they were many items that were not done to code by the original installer and asked if we wanted a quote and I said yes. A few days later we had an issue again and he came out immediately made some adjustments and also found some other items they were incorrectly installed and fix those as well. He said that there was no charge since it was part of their warranty of service. It turned out that the original installer did a completely incorrect job and was certainly not done to code the three other companies a came also meddled with it and Matt corrected absolutely everything. Now that the furnace is working properly I have scheduled another appointment to have them come out and bring everything up to code. I highly recommend this company for the professionalism and thoroughness that other companies simply won’t do.

Scott was amazing! My husband I were having some water heater issues and he came out right away. Not only did he quickly discover the issue, but he explained what was wrong and helped us understand everything that was going on throughout the process. It was a great experience to have after just moving to the area.Definitely earned our business for any future problems.

Bill Howe encourages their employees to take their commercial trucks home and park them in private neighborhoods- whether they live there or not. The problem then lies with the inhabitants of these neighborhoods, as there is no where to park in an already congested area. The issue isn't whether it's legal- the issue is that it's not fair. Our neighborhood is upset because we already have trouble finding parking. I called Bill Howe to try to resolve the issue after seeing two of their employees park their trucks and leave in their smaller vehicles to go home. Their associate on the phone had no intention to resolve anything, was incredibly rude and even went as far as to insinuate that I was responsible for the vandalism that has been done to their trucks. It was very disappointing, as a native San Diegan, to discover that this is NOT a local San Diego family-owned company that values basic common courtesy, positive community relations, or meaningful conversations around conflict resolution- so much for we know Howe!!I definitely know Howe to hire another company for my plumbing, heating/air conditioning needs that actually CARES about the communities within our finest city.

BEWARE! STAY AWAY!!EDIT:Frank called me to resolve the issue that occurred with Fred. With what seemed to be an in-genuine call at first just to get the review removed/fixed, I am fixing this review due to his best efforts. He did his best to defuse the situation and straighten things out. While this should not have occurred in the first place, I am willing to give this company a chance at business. Appointment person wouldn’t listen to Clients availability and instead hang-up on me while trying to explain tine restrictions of my Tenants.After explaining twice about time constraints, this Appointment person insisted that their contract with the Home Warranty Company is such and would not listen to my Tenants availability and work around their schedule.Poor Service provider from setting up appointment, how much more when it comes to the actual work.I feel sorry for the owner of this business.
