I am in the heating and cooling trade and couldn't get to a friends broken roof top hvac unit one day. I decided to send one of techs at Dunn. It was a commercial property so I needed a tech that was advanced in commercial. The tech got his unit fixed quickly. The draft motor had failed but getting it fixed wasn't a problem. Dunn is a commercially licensed company in St louis county so I would suggest them to anyone.

It took me several phone calls over the course of 5 hours to get ahold of anybody at this company other than the secretary and the emergency plumber. I started around 10 am on Tues and around 3 pm I was told that it would take several days for somebody to get back to me. I was called about 15 mins later and given a general idea about how much the cost to excavate a line was. A plumber was able to come out on Wed and start work but at the end of the day couldn't tell me anything about actual cost, he could only tell me he didn't do billing. He worked for about 2.5 hours on Thurs, finishing the job so that an inspector could come out Fri. Even knowing all the materials and about how much labor the job would take he still couldn't tell me anything about cost except his guess that he told me not to quote him on. Come Fri he still couldn't tell me anything even when he was getting ready to concrete over the piping after the inspection was already completed. All of that & then the next day I can't use my washing machine because the discharge of the washer came right up the floor drain with a bunch of sediment and created a 4 foot radius of disgusting water (this problem did not exist before the piping repair). Call on Sat and the result: I'll call someone and try to get them over there and Can it wait until Monday which will cost the normal price?. I'm not even mad about the issue afterwards but I'm very much aggravated that I ended up being told that I'll get a bill for the work in 1-2 weeks but they can't tell me even an idea about how much it will be. I'll never use this company again.....still waiting for someone to maybe show up to fix the backup problem 2 hours (and counting) after it started today.

I talked to a few plumbing companies about the job I needed done and maplewood plumbing was the only one who did what I wanted. They showed up early, nice and professional as can be, ran a camera in my drain right off the bat while I watched. We saw together what the issue was and they cleaned it out, problem solved.The key point was they ran the camera down there to figure out what was going on first. Everyone else just wanted to cable out the downspout without looking, charge me hundreds of dollars and I wouldn't even know if it would have fixed the issue, neither would they. Some companies would have charged me just for them getting out a camera as well, maplewood plumbing did not do so. To me it seems that is the way it should be done so they aren't blindly doing something that might not even fix the issue.I highly recommend maplewood plumbing. If I'm being honest, I thought those guys were so nice that I wanted them to be my new best friends. Unfortunately I had to get back to work so I didn't have time to bust out the whiskey. They were so professional they probably wouldn't have drank with me anyways.

In typical fashion of someone incapable of owning up to their mistakes and taking responsibility for there poor actions. Mr Jaggies wife Sara gave the company a 5 star review to off set my husbands 1 star review. The funny thing is if Mr.Jaggie was smart, he would have called me and appoligized for the way he spoke to me. This would have warded off the poor reviews he received from me and my husband. But whether it’s an ego problem or just plain ingorance, Mr.Jaggie hasn’t figured out how to handle customers properly and deserves the poor reviews he’s earned his company.
