Update: as for someone knocking on the door it's absolutely not true. Dunn told me the no shows were completely their mistake (never mentioned knocking on the door) and out of character but I didn't want to mess with it again. No one knocked on the door as someone was home waiting just for them. Lame excuse.

I've used Dunn (with them showing up) twice and tried to use them four times. The times they showed up were a combination of great and mediocre. After the second repair did not fix a cooling problem and I had paid a lot, they were scheduled to come out again and give an estimate for a new one or fix the unit.

This time was a no show and no call. Mind you, we take off work and take the dog to day care for this. I called and was told the internet was down that day (so I guess they couldn't call me?) And they would reschedule. Nothing.

The final time was after I sent a message about ^ and was again scheduled a week out for the same. I gave them another chance. Again, husband took off work, dog to day care. No one showed up or called. I called and was told you're scheduled for 5:30, not 3:30, and someone is now on the way. That was 2 hours ago. No call, no show. Are you f'n kidding me?

Still no A/C, a month later, and I'm out $400 for the repair that didn't fix anything. I'm calling someone else and disputing the charge on my credit card. I'm done!

Our water heater had suddenly stopped working. Joe came right on time and knew exactly what was wrong with the water heater. He was very friendly. He found the part and got it. They are a bit pricey but now we do have running hot water. I would definitely consider them for future projects.

Great company to deal with very honest an punctual!!

I am in the heating and cooling trade and couldn't get to a friends broken roof top hvac unit one day. I decided to send one of techs at Dunn. It was a commercial property so I needed a tech that was advanced in commercial. The tech got his unit fixed quickly. The draft motor had failed but getting it fixed wasn't a problem. Dunn is a commercially licensed company in St louis county so I would suggest them to anyone.

A dealer that is not brand loyal but customer loyal and will give you what best fits your home and budget not their profit margin.

Brett at JT Dunn was very knowledgeable and super helpful when my AC stopped working and was 90 degrees outside. He was available imediatelly and managed to fix it the same day. Price was good compared to others and service was outstanding considering my urgency and having no AC with 2 kids. I'll recommend them to my friends if they have any issues with their AC or furnace. A member of my family is disabled with limited mobility and has experienced numerous strokes. He had purchased a new a/c unit five years ago that was low quality for a high price (from a business who doesn’t back their work) that now quit working during the hot summer days just before the holiday. Dunn heating and cooling was a true blessing! A new high quality unit was installed at a truly competitive price. I arrived to check on progress of work and found the job complete and they were explaining warranty and the work with compassion and understanding of his limitations. The level of professionalism and compassion displayed speaks volumes for this business. Good old fashion hard work with exceptional morals and business ethics made me a loyal customer and will always refer friends!

This one of the best company's I have ever done business with.I had the pleasure of meeting with one of their consultants,Dan,who did not waist any time coming out to give me a free estimate.He was very straight forward and to the point,which is what I liked about him.The two guys that came out to my home to install a new furnace and air conditioner system,Their names were Adam and Nathan.I have to say they were very efficient.They came to my home at 8 am and were done by 5 pm .I love my new system and can't wait til summer to fire up the air.Thank You all for a job well done.I highly recommend these guys for any heating and cooling job.

As a project manager for this company,I have alot of good experiences when i started their. As you can see by the write ups i had on my customers. how ever the front office went through many changes. Changes that were unacceptable to any company standards and project managers expectation.I was terminated or released of my duties,for numerous reasons, when i tell my customers they will be contacted in 48 to 72 hours for installation date, I had customers that werent contacted for more than 30 days, they would tell the homeowner waiting on financing paper work.Folks it doesnt take more than 24 to 48 hours for approval and if you live in Illinois a reservation took up to 72 hours.Iv had jobs that took 2 months to get installed. It also took 30 to 60 days to get my commission checks after they were installed. Any other company pays you with in 7 days.They also do not do follow installation procedures as explained by sales consultant such as combustion analyzes, efficiency report,or use nitrogen when welding these are important parts of a proper installation.I have witnessed this on some of my installations.Since I have been gone i have had numerous calls about installations and rebates information. The office has not contacted these people or responded to there needs or concerns.Pretty sad they have to call me for information.I have to call Brett the owner and inform him to get any help for my customers.I apologize to my customers this is very embarrising to me and my customers.As a consultant with 35 years of experience I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY. Our technician, Bryan, was very nice and polite and got th job done! We will be using Dunn heating and cooling for routine jobs for sure! Five stars don’t give them justice!

We rehabbed an 100 year old house, and JT Dunn was a pleasure to work with. When our schedule got pushed back, Dunn had no problem adjusting. The install was painless, and the guys were fantastic. We will certainly be hiring JT Dunn on our future rehabs.

I had them out to my residence and a couple of my rental properties. They were very knowledgeable and courteous! The pricing was reasonable and the repairs were made in a timely manner. I would definitely use them again and recommend them to my friends and family!

My father had a scheduled appointment, even returning from out of town early to have them come. After being a half hour late, my father called and the receptionist said the worker was on another job and was running late. No one ever bothered to ever show up! My father called the next day to speak to the owner and was hung up on. Seriously ridiculous and dont waste your time👎.

JT Dunn HVAC did a great job of moving my air conditioner from the back of my house to the side of my house. The crew that came out did a fantastic job and made sure the system was working correctly even though it was late at night. My ac went out and Dunn was the only company that would come out asap on a Saturday morning. When asked if i could get service that morning, the response was absolutely! Joe was amazing- kind and professional.

The project manager at Dunn was nice enough to meet me at McDonalds to finalize paperwork on rebates for my new HVAC system. Full instsll of furnace and AC and now my two story home went from a ten degree temperature difference between rooms to around 1 degree temperature diff. Highly suggest calling Dunn to fix the hardest of problems other HVAC companies miss!!! We could not be more happy

Unsure how I feel

They did a great job of installing new air conditioning and furnace but when we called twice for follow up service they never contacted us. We had to reach out to other company.

These guys are great and Joe is the best! I have 2-furnaces in my house and they installed 2-humidifiers, serviced both furnaces, and plumbed in the gas and exhaust vent for my gas dryer all in one day. They arrived on time, Joe stayed late to finish the job, and the work was excellent. I highly recommend these guys.

Excellent! Showed up within an hour of calling and had the part replaced and A/C running within minutes.

Brett is very knowledgeable in this field and a great problem solver. He was able to fix our system cheaper and with better quality than the other companies who had looked at the same system. Out of the four companies who came to look at our system Brett was the only one who took the time to listen to my concerns and truly address the problems we were experiencing with our system. He gave an excellent description of what needed to be done and how it would improve the overall climate in our house. Although the job was very difficult to complete due to the lack of space, Brett and Kyle made sure it was done quickly and correctly. Their workspace was very clean when they left, which makes for a very happy wife. I could go on for hours explaining how please I am with the quality of work Brett and Kyle were able to do. I will definitely recommend them to anyone who is willing to listen.

Dunn Heating & Cooling installed a new heating and cooling system in our new construction home. Brett from Dunn did the design from the ground up which included heat load calc, equipment selection, duct design. A Trane variable speed system was installed and it couldn't be quieter. In addition, home energy performance measures were done to the home so our home loses less energy (the frost/snow on the roof doesn't melt when compared to the neighbors roofs.) highly recommend this company for expertise in HVAC!

Typically I avoid warranties because businesses find ways to weasel out of honoring them. Not the case with Dunn! They covered my repair no questions asked. Joe was incredibly thorough and personable giving me the peace of mind that I hope for after having utilities serviced. I’m with Dunn (and Joe) all the way because their word stands!

Awesome service for my mom's rental property as well as my own tenant's. Quick service call, diagnosis took a couple of attempts (as with anything, at least you know they're honest and not saying it's fixed when it's not). Went with the company primarily due to its BBB rating and Angie's list rating. Will definitely call them again for HVAC repairs, however I doubt there will be any in the near future since they did an excellent job!

JT Dunn lets you know what's best for you, what really needs to be done, and their prices are reasonable. They are reliable and trustworthy. Before JT Dunn, I was working with an HVAC company that overcharged and tried to get me to have unnecessary work done. JT Dunn recently installed two new Trane heat pumps and air handlers in my home in Wildwood, MO. From pre-sale to sale to installation to follow-up, the JT Dunn team support has been great. I chose JT Dunn for many reasons. Most important, was their commitment to ensure me that every detail of the process would be completed to my satisfaction. They delivered.

While trying to install a new smart thermostat, the worst case scenario happened, our Air conditioning unit stopped working on a Friday night in the middle of July in St. Louis. We checked the breaker, checked the wiring, reinstalled the old thermostat, all the stuff DIYers know to check; still no light on the A/C circuit boards and no glorious cold air coming from the vents.
With sweat forming on our brows and anxiety building at the thought of a sleepless, sweaty night, I started calling every Air Conditioning repair service on Google. Only 3 companies out of 10 answered their phone at 9-10pm on a Friday night. The first 2 companies said the first available service appointment would be Wednesday, 5 days later and they do not carry parts. Yikes.

My tenth call was to JT Dunn heating and cooling. I described the issue and Brett said a technician could be at our place after 12am or first thing the next morning. Perfect!! He mentioned a few additional troubleshooting tips including checking the circuit board fuse. Sure enough the fuse popped. We made a 11pm run to WalMart and TacoBell for 4th meal.

Our A/C is functional!

While we did not need the service call, we appreciate the advice and tip Brett gave us. He saved us a bunch of money and hassle. Little things like that boost the confidence in service companies. We have added JT Dunn heating and cooling to our repair contract list!

Last year we found out we needed a new AC unit but waited until this year to fix it. We went through Home Depot to find a place and they gave us JT Dunn Climate Control. I am glad they did. Scott came out and did a check of the house to see what we needed. He explained a few areas where we may be losing air and what they can do to fix it. He gave me a quote of two choices with a discount through Ameren right there. It was cheaper then I thought it was going to be for a quality Trane unit. Once my husband and I decided that we are going to get it done, Scott was able to come a day or two later and helped me set up an install date and get me set up with a Home Depot Credit Card so I can pay over time with no interest. He made it simple and pain free. When they came to install the unit they were friendly and even offered to take off their shoes. They installed it fast, faster than Scott said it would take. I recommend this company. My dad was there for most of the process and was very impressed also and is considering using them if they need them in the future.

Eric Merkling came out and serviced our Ruud. He was courteous and quickly found the problem and fixed it for a really great price. I will definitely use JT Dunn again.

Our air conditioner died during one of the hottest weeks of last summer. I called JT Dunn and they came out on Friday and had our new system up and running on Monday.(we were given the option of an emergency installation as well). All of the people that I dealt with from this company were professional, friendly and helpful. unfortunately, our system had some problems. It did take a little while to get the answers and have the problems fixed, but they did keep with it and fix our problems. They also reimbursed us for extra electricity used because the system was not functioning properly. The salesman, Scott, who came to our house was not high pressured, and sold us a system that worked for our house and our budget. I would recommend JT Dunn to a friend

My heat went out and my fiancee is 4 months pregnant. They showed up within an hour in the middle of a snow storm and got the heat back on. I own a construction company and use two other HVAC companies... None of which could assist me at 11:30 at night in this weather. They have not only earned my complete respect, but my business from here on out.

Combustion analysis tests, static pressure, and freon levels are all ensured for top notch performance. Guy came out on time but was told we would recieve quote for new ac..never heard back..when I called 4 days later I was told they were sorry and would be right back with me and not drop the ball...never heard back.. A WEEK went by and I get a call asking if I got a follow up.. NOPE

I received eight bids on the work that I needed done. I chose Jt Dunn because of the presentation that Brett the owner gave, he was awesome, he was not the cheapest bid or the most expensive but I was very impressed by him.
Everyone I had contact with was very pleasant and professional including the office staff. The installers were very professional and thorough, and my wife could not believe how clean they left house in while the installation was going on. I am so glad I chose them.

I also had to use these people through our home warranty and they are horrible. They are not top notch at all. They came to fix our heater, replaced a part that immediately blew out while they were there, and then left. When I called to reschedule, they set an appointment from 3-6 during the workweek, and no one showed up!! Being an hourly employee and having to skip work and leave money on the table sucks. Especially when the company flakes. Never use again

Dunn installed a heat pump system under my direction for my aunt 15 years ago and it is still running like a top. At the time, Brett the owner, oversaw the project and ensured no details were missed. Could not be happier

Joe came out last night and got the AC fixed up just in time for the heat to roll back in. Very pleasant and got straight to work after a brief discussion of the problem. Wrapped it up and the unit works like new. I could not have asked for anything more.

J T Dunn installed our new HVAC system in May 2014. They replaced our old 10 SEER Comfort Maker unit with a Trane XLi18 18 SEER unit and our old 80% AFUE furnace with a Trane XV95 97% AFUE unit. Wow...what a difference it made in our heating and cooling costs!!! Our monthly bills are considerably lower. Their techs showed up at 8:00am and worked 14 hours removing and installing the new units, performing system functional checks and even showing us how to program and use our new thermostat. They stayed until everything was finished even though we told them they could finish the next day. The work area was left spotless. Our salesperson, Scott, worked with us to determine the best system for our home and didn't try to sell us stuff that we didn't want or need. He also got us 5 year same as cash financing through Wells Fargo! We were so impressed with the professionalism, customer service, price and warranty that we recommended to my brother to use J T Dunn to replace his old system as well. He did...and we received a gift card for Home Depot! We highly recommend J T Dunn be the one to tackle all of your HVAC needs. I know we will use them for years to come.

My recent experience with this company was awful. I REPEAT DO NOT refer anyone to this company. They were called out to run a diagnostic on a AC unit. The guy washed it off and then told me I had too much pressure so he took refrigerant out ( 2lbs). It got cooler after a new filter and the rinse. The next day it got worse. And they want to charge me to come out again and fix or run another diagnostic. After they took the r-22 out. They should’ve paid me instead they charged me $319. RUN BEFOREy THEY OVERCHARGE AND TAKE YOUR REFRIGERANT ( r-22) just to have your compressor break down and cause you to purchase an entire unit.

They made a difficult and stressful situation easier to handle. The workers are very professional, dedicated, and great at multitasking. I have no complaints whatsoever. Loved them. I'd refer anyone to them. Give them a try. You will not be disappointed. I worked with Nathan and the owner Brett. :-D

I am so happy with the sincere consideration from Dunn for my budget that I felt compelled to write a review. The techs at Dunn suggested Google so here we are. I live in the sticks where it is hard to find good companies and Dunn came out to give me a proposal for a new furnace. Upon arrival the tech found that the reason the furnace wasn't working was because of a faulty wire. He could've sold me a new furnace because I'm none the wiser. Instead he listened to me about my financial situation and decided to investigate further. Thank goodness he did because now I'm warm and I don't need a new furnace!!!!

Heater was malfunctioning and the house was cold. Eric came out, showed me the problems and did a great job of fixing it. He also kind of enough to give me a brief lesson on how furnaces work and the different parts to be aware of. I would use them again.

Had a great first experience with Dunn and highly recommend. I’ll be asking for Joe again for the future, as he was able to fix some issues that our previous heating and air provider had either overlooked or been careless about, and he also went out of his way to help with some additional ones that had been unresolved for so long. He clearly has the intuition to notice issues and the expertise to fix them. He also discussed realistic expectations and was honest and transparent about the next steps in future maintenance of our units-I appreciated that so much!

Amazing service! My outside units fan was not working, called on a Friday night at 7-8PM tech was here by 9PM. Super fast service, very professional and friendly! Could not recommend them more !!

I have several different properties and I've hired JT Dunn to work on a couple of them. I've gone through a number of different HVAC companies over the past few years. It’s not that I am a difficult or unreasonable customer but, rather, it’s extremely difficult to find an HVAC company who is reasonably priced, reliable, and has the proper amount of expertise. JT Dunn possesses all of these qualities. Plus, they are quick to come out to the property for estimates and just as fast when it comes to repairs and installations.

I’ve previously hired JT Dunn to repair 2 air-conditioning units, repair a furnace, install a whole house humidifier, and install 2 air-conditioning cages. I’ve also previously hired them to conduct some HVAC tests related to an oversized furnace in one of my properties (the furnace was installed by a different HVAC company here in town). In addition, JT Dunn recently gave me an estimate on all new HVAC systems for a rental property of mine and the pricing is also quite reasonable. I’ll definitely be hiring them.

In the past, I’ve hired HVAC companies from Angie’s List and Service Magic, as well as hired some of the bigger guys here in town – most notably, Hoffman Brothers and Alro Heating and Cooling. However, in my opinion, nobody beats the combination of price, reliability, and expertise provided by JT Dunn. I’ve had really good experiences with them and will continue to hire them for all of my HVAC needs.

I will reccomend this company to anyone I can! Our heater quit working in a cold snap and our rental house dropped to 39 degrees inside. Our rental company was goving us the run around and making it difficult to get a repair person out to help. But the folks at JT Dunn went above and beyond to make sure that our heater got fixed, despite an incompetent rental company making it difficult. Everyone we spoke to was kind, compassionate, and dedicated to getting our house back to a safe temperature ASAP! Thanks to all the folks on the team at JT Dunn! Keep up the good work.

Wonderful company! My furnace stopped working and the technician that was already on his way home, turned around to make sure I had heat. Within 15 minutes my furnace was working again. I will never use another company again!

Technician doesn't know what he's doing

We couldn't have asked for a better experience from Dunn. There was some minor confusion with the third party scheduling service that was used to set up the appointment. However, it was fixed immediately and the work was fantastic. Highly recommend!

A technician named Dave came to my place to help me figure out why my furnace would stop working every few hours. After some inspection, he suggested that I change the electrical control board. He did not give me any BS when I said I would buy and replace the board myself (because, let's be honest, it's cheaper this way). Turns out he was right about the board being faulty. Now my furnace works like a charm. Nice guy, on time, professional. I'll ask for him next time I've got an issue.

the team installed my moms heat pump My mom gets nervous having repairs at her house and everything went smooth. Its been over ten years and the pump has given her no problems, so now I don't have to deal with her complaining to me that it is hot.

They came out and charged us $347.00 for a $14.00 part (Heat Sensor Ignition) that took maybe 15-20 minutes to fix. After only 1 day the furnace stopped working again! I called them and they said they would have to charge me again if they came back out. I called another company and they fixed the problem. This was done back in February and they just charged our card now!

Jorden did a great job and was very polite. I would recommend him to everyone.

During the recent extreme cold weather the power to our home was compromised and all our appliances were damaged. After the power was restored late on a Friday, Joe Alexander came out and repaired our furnace. He came when he said he would, he repaired what he said he would repair.
My wife had been without heat for awhile & I was thankful Dunn Heating & Cooling could help.

In addition he probably kept my home from burning down, the power outage damaged our gas stove & when the gas was turned back on it was leaking propane, luckily Joe’s acted fast and disconnected the stove.
I would definitely recommend them.

Called on Sunday because my AC wasn't working showed up that day and fixed. Tech was really knowledgeable and had it running in no time.

Best service ever!!! They were so busy, sales/service consultant, Dave Brokaw had to come out to complete the job himself! He was courteous, precise and sought my input for a difficult install. Even better, he made the most difficult application seamless by creating an on-the-spot solution to the problem. In the end the price was fair and there was no haggle involved what so ever. I am very happy with the service and work we had done. I will recommend this company to friends or anyone who asks!

Contacted the company for the FREE ESTIMATE that is advertised on the first page of the website, was told that the estimate was $325.00. Was then asked if i was free to meet immediately, explained that I was not at home, but would like to set up a time for the following week. Never heard back.

I had tried to write this review a few months back but had tech errors when I tried to submit. In the coldest part of January (snow and all), when my baby was only 3 weeks old, our heater stopped working. I quickly googled heater repair and called out to Dunn's to see if they could get us in because they had such great reviews. Everyone was very kind and concerned over the temperature in our home with our new baby. Brett came to the rescue! He was such a gentleman and made me feel very comfortable with the situation. He educated me on what the problem was and fixed the issue at a very competitive price! Thank you so much Dunn team! My family is your customer for life!

After an initial no-show two days in a row, the owner got word and quickly resolved the problem and sent someone out the next day to repair a leak in the tub faucet. To their credit, Dunn waived the service call fee which I thought was respectable and reasonable.

Had Joe A over today to repair a noisy condenser. He was able to quickly diagnose the problem, had the necessary replacement motor in his truck, and then finished the repair. Now we have a beautifully working unit that is quiet. And Joe A was really great. Our Puppy especially took to him. Highly recommend!

Do not do business with them, completely unprofessional. Called to get an appointment to have my air condenser serviced, it had some issues with a blocked coil. The scheduler seemed unorganized and kept putting me on hold and speaking with people in the the background in order to get me scheduled. Took around 10 minutes just to get me scheduled. she kept shuffling around trying to SQUEEZE me in for an apptointment. i informed her that she doesn't have to squeeze me in, i can push it out to another day, but she insisted. She scheduled me for a 630pm appointment with eric, which is after hours, but she insisted he will be there. the day of my appointment, i called 3 hours in advance to confirm my appt., and she ensured me that he will be there. 7pm came around and there was no eric, so i called and got their emergency line. the people were no help and told me i could leave a message. i just wanted to know what happened to ERIC????? I guess my family will just have to spend another night sleeping in sweat.

My furnace and air conditioner was installed in 2018. I have had to call them 3 times a year because it stopped working. ​They make me pay everytime ​and refuse to take accountability for installing a terrible product. Please don't use them. This ​has turned into a financial debt that I keep paying for.

When I was home to visit my parents in Baldwin, MO their AC went out so we made a call to Dunn Heating and Cooling. We couldn't believe that within an hour they were there and within two hours we had AC again! Definitely contact Dunn Heating and Cooling for your AC and heating needs...

Dunn came out to our multi family unit and fixed a drain leakage issue on an AC on the second floor. They made us aware the unit wasn't installed properly by another company (needed a drip pan for emergencies and needed proper slope on the drain.) we have used Dunn many times and each time they have been proficient and fair priced.

Our first impression of the company was excellent due to the overall professionalism and patience that Jason showed while answering all our questions and concerns in regards to getting a new HVAC system. The installation crew was prompt, respectful and worked well as a team. We would welcome any of those young men into our home again without hesitation. The installation itself met and exceeded our expectations as to time involved and any disruption of our schedules. The clean up went very quickly and was very thorough. All equipment set up and maintenance was explained in detail before their departure. Three weeks later the Polar Vortex dipped into St. Louis and brought record breaking below freezing temps! We stayed toasty warm without the new system running constantly like our old one. We are looking forward to comparing this months bill with last years for the same billing cycle!!! Betty in the office was very understanding and prompt helping me with lost (OUR fault) paperwork. I will be recommending this company to any friends, co-workers, neighbors or family needing HVAC work.

We had addition build to our ranch house and Dunn installed us new HVAC unit for entire house. Price was competitive at $8000 and I was able to use special financing program from Sears. It's took a little longer than we hoped for and sometimes we had communication issues, but at the end I am very happy with a result. Brett (an owner) was very patient and understanding to my demands and Nathan did excellent job with installation of HVAC and vents. They went above and beyond to be sure we satisfied and everything works great. Our unit came with 20 years warranty and I know that can rely on Dunn to be here for us. I also like their office staff, very polite nice friendly and proactive. I will recommend Dunn (One hour air) to anyone.

Our heat went out on a frigid day in March. When I contacted Brett from JT Dunn Climate Control, he immediately tried troubleshooting the problem over the phone. He arrived at the house a short time later and I had already rectified the problem myself. He still took the time to check out the unit and offer advice. He DID NOT charge us a service fee! He is a super nice guy, very polite and easy to deal with. He definitely has our business in the future!

They suck. Last year I called them to see if they could fix my fuel runs. Technician came out to give estimate. Never heard back from them. Called and they told me the guy that was suppose to do the estimate was out hunting. No common courtesy. Would never use them

Dunn Heating and Cooling was happy to help me out in a time of emergency (furnace went out on a Saturday morning and I received help at around 8PM that evening). The technician who helped me, Brett I think was his name, was extremely knowledgeable and helpful at a time of day that surely was inconvenient to him. My furnace was back up and running that evening, made possibly only with the help of Dunn H&C. Would recommend to a friend!

(unfortunately I had to work with a budget hvac co tied to my home agreement.) Brett helped me over the phone with fixing the other companies mess-up saving me a service call fee. JTDunn is who I will use from now on! fIt's rare that you remember specific names from a company. But their service was the best I could ask for. It's no joke they get stuff DUNN!

Joe from Dunn was amazing. He was happy to show me what was wrong with my a/c unit and he took care of the problem very quickly. Also he found a gas leak that we have had two other companies tell us did not exist. So who knows-we might owe him our lives.

It was a great experience overall and I am definitely considering signing up for their biannual heating and cooling inspection just because I know they will be honest and competent.

Brett called me within ten seconds of me submitting my Angie's List request for HVAC replacement contractors, no joke. He arrived on time to our scheduled meeting the next morning and did an incredibly thorough job reviewing my complicated and whacky zoned heating/cooling setup, teaching me and answering questions along the way. He provided tons of information - I could immediately tell he wasn't just a sales guy but had tons of experience actually doing the work in the field - he saw little things I had never noticed and offered reasonable solutions without any pressure whatsoever. In fact, he advised really practical advice that I'm certain saved me time and money.

I ended up deciding to repair my broken AC unit in the short term, using Dunn's repair guy, with which Brett had shared his notes from our meeting to get him prepared in advance for the issues I was facing and to be sure we addressed all the little things he saw when he was here.

Brett called to follow up with me after my tech repair appointment to ask how it went and to see where I stood with repair vs. replace. I decided to repair in the short-term while I wait for quotes to come in to see what it would cost to replace. When I am ready to replace, whether it's soon or down the road, I would not hesitate for one second to consider Dunn. After this experience, I feel like I'd get great service, thorough analysis of my system, the right hardware proposed for the house and zoned heating/cooling setup that I have, and a fair price.

I recommend you give Dunn Heating & Cooling a call. The installation team was courteous, worked quickly and made sure that all of our questions and concerns were answered. Our 2nd floor furnace installation was completed from estimate to end in a professional manner. And the pricing rocked the competition!

Great experience. I had an entirely new HVAC system installed in my home. Dependable and reliable. From sales, install and follow up. Fair price. During the follow up a few months after the install, Brett and Bryan came out to make sure everything was working right. They fixed an issue involving existing electrical that my electrician couldn't figure out, as well as answer all my questions. Thank you.

We use Dunn for nearly all of our heating and cooling needs. They installed a great AC system in our nearly 100 year old house, including the duct work, and all for a price far less than the competition. They had come up with a plan for the ducts that was much less invasive to our walls and floors than the other companies, too.
Their workers are highly skilled and knowledgeable, as well as professional, friendly and dependable.
Joe recently came to our new house and cleaned out our furnace chimney, which had been completely backed up with leaves from a pesky squirrel. He sealed the hole the squirrel was using, too. These guys are definitely on our speed dial.

• Filled paperwork for rebates, permits, and inspections.

I conducted all research and purchased six months ago. Looking back on the process these are the thoughts I have.

JT Dunn was one of five companies I reached out to for a quote to replace my furnace / AC system in my home. Their sales representative came out and inspected my system and provided multiple options for replacement. Different options included the most energy efficient setups, the lowest cost to install, etc. What impressed me with their sales representative was that he pointed out how long it would take to make up savings on each system. Rather than trying to sell the highest efficiency system, he pointed out the return on investment and that the break even on a high-efficiency system (in my home) could be over 20+ years.

I ended up having a Trane furnace / AC system installed. The sales team visited my house on the weekend to sign paperwork as that fit my schedule. They made sure they could install the system the same week as cold weather was approaching and we wanted to have heating. The two-man install team was very professional, answered any questions I had, and took great care not damaging carpet, furniture, etc. Before leaving they assisted in programing the thermostat.

While the cost was not the lowest estimate I received I would still go with JT Dunn if I had to do it again. They were extremely professional and the Trane system and service were well worth any difference in price.

Technician, I don't know his name was 5 hours late and didn't say sorry and he wanted to leave without cleaning. Very rude

We recently had a water heater failure on a holiday weekend. My wife and I went to a local Lowes to start pricing out replacements and had the luck to speak with an employee from Dunn Plumbing. He was extremely friendly and helpful. He contacted the owner and we were discussing options within a few hours. That was our first experience and it was great! We decided to go with a tankless system and decided to go with Dunn Plumbing for the install. They arrived exactly on time (actually a little earlier than I expected but that was great) and began to work. I didn't realize the amount of work needed to convert to the tankless system! I had the opportunity to speak with all three of the workers there and they were all very friendly, professional, and worked hard. By the end of the day, we had hot water again, which makes for a happy home. The work site was left completely clean and there were no surprise costs at the end. I would definitely recommend Dunn Plumbing for any work that needs to be done!!
