Best Heating System Maintenance in Saint Louis MO

Contacted the company for the FREE ESTIMATE that is advertised on the first page of the website, was told that the estimate was $325.00. Was then asked if i was free to meet immediately, explained that I was not at home, but would like to set up a time for the following week. Never heard back.

I spoke with Steven to set everything up, he was a stand up gentleman. I worked with Drew to get a pipe replaced in my kitchen. He was awesome. Both men are very professional AND personable, they had a reasonable price and did good work from what I can tell. Seems dry. They're honest, hardworking men from what I can tell. Will call again with ANY plumbing concerns. Service doesn't come like this often anymore.

I purchased a very expensive boiler (20k) last winter for them for our radiator heat.  They came to try to fix the old unit and said that our only option was a new one.  After some debate, we moved forward.  The installation itself was OK.  They left the basement door open for most of the time, and I had to ask them several times to close it because we were freezing.  I tried to ask them how it was going while they installed it, and they would barely respond.  Given the cost, I don't think this was unreasonable.  After the install, it stopped working completely after about 7 days.  I was pretty upset. They sent out a technician off hours who had no idea how to fix it. It turns out that the reason it stopped working was because the exhaust valve was installed incorrectly.  Apparently, it wasn't windy the day of the install, but there was more wind later on, so it needed to be installed differently.  Yikes. It works well now in terms of heating up the home.  I will say that the cost savings from this unit were not at all what they told us. The salesman made all sorts of claims about all the money we would save to run the unit.  All of that wasn't true.  It is cheaper to run our forced air units (although the radiator heat is much better; it heats evenly, there is no dust blowing around, etc.). We do love the radiator heat, but it isn't cheaper.  Maybe it is cheaper than a 50-year-old boiler, but he knew that wasn't our situation.  We weren't using the radiator heat at that time, which is why they were there in the first place.  All of this was really disappointing, but today, after switching back from Hoffman, I had someone out for a separate issue, and he was asking me about the unit.  Apparently, we could have gotten a similar unit and used it for our hot water as well.  He said it would have been another ~$1,000 (compared to getting a new $3000 water heater).  I remember the salesperson mentioning that as an option very briefly, and I expressed some interest.  I don't really know what happened in that particular part of the discussion after that, but at the very least I didn't understand the options, because it appears like it would have been a no-brainer based on what I am hearing today.  I have no idea what to believe on this particular issue, but it just added to my overall disappointment about the experience, which is why I am writing this review.

Excellent craftsman, excellent office personnel, excellent communcation as to when they can get to you.

Have older home in the Lemay area. Needed new plumbing, vents and stack to pass St. Louis County code. This company (Plumbing Masters) did an excellent job with that, and I had them put a new water heater in as well. Totally professional technicians (Rick, his son and Joe) and even cleaned up and hauled away ALL the old plumbing and water heater parts. I WILL use them again and highly recommend this company. The Ragsdale and Elking family are top notch!!

I called for a service and it was originally accepted but then recvd a call back with bogus reason as to why they could not take the job. I called Kirkwood Plumbing and was able to get in with no problems. Customer Service person was rude and ignorant. I would not recommend this business.

Installed a dishwasher!! They were outstanding!!! They arrived on time and were very professional! I have used them in the past and they are the only plumbers that I trust in my house!! The quoted price was the fee they charged!! I can’t say enough about them!! They were finished in a little over two hours; they tested the lines for leaks before cleaning up!! Superior service!!

Helpful, kind, and knowledgeable staff. We had help from Ron when we had a gas leak in which he did repairs and from Adam when we had problems with our heat from our furnace and ecobee thermostat. Prompt response when we called and gave us an estimated time frame in which they showed up during that time. Work was done well the first time without any issues. Would recommend.

I had toilet problems and Hoffmann Brothers checked all three (3) of my home toilets. He stopped the leak, reset one toilet, and put in new parts that were needed. I was well satisfied with the professional, good quality, and quick response to my large leak. I feel my home is better protected by Hoffmann Brothers.able to solve all three toilets.
