Thanks to Rhymes' excellent service, both my furnace and my air conditioner have lasted much longer than their projected life. Twice a year maintenance with Rhymes has been a good investment!
These guys are great. I've called them twice. The first time, they helped me over the phone and talked me out of a service call that I didn't need at the time. This latest time, they came to the house, had the problem resolved fast, and the price was well worth the convenience of the service and the friendliness of the staff.
Our heater went out in the dead of winter and rhymes got a new unit installed only 4 days later during the pandemic when almost everything was on backorder because of shortages! Great people to work with, they are honest and fair and I would recommend them to anyone.

I called during a heat wave, and they had a technician out the very next day. Technician was clean , well versed , and polite. Went straight to work and solved the problem with ease. I just got my 609 Certification and Universal Certification in HVAC, the Technician did everything the correct way. No lies , no strings, just honest work. I REALLY COMMEND THAT. We have a contract with Rhymes for a preventive maintenance check twice a year, Spring and Fall.

Adam arrived at my home well within the timeframe that I was expecting him. He greeted me and I recognized him from a previous service call he had made at my home. He checked the thermostat, the furnace blower then went outside to check the AC unit. He seemed very thorough with his work and when finished he gave me a written report of his evaluation of my AC unit. I appreciate someone I can call and feel they are trustworthy. I have used Rhymes H & C for several years and if I have a problem they manage to get help for me as soon as possible.

I appreciate the customer service followup and reminders about needed maintenance. We had a small repair on the furnace and the technician noticed that our humidifier was not working. We intended to get it fixed but got busy and forgot to call to schedule. Darren called and reminded us and gave us the opportunity to set up an appointment then.

I was looking for my boiler replacement company, and literally I got over 15 estimates. Rhymes Heating & Cooling was the best company both price and quality of service. I was really impressive how they took care of customers' needs. I will keep their numbers and will call them next time for all (Air-condition, and other issues). I highly recommend them to all of you.
We have worked with Rhymes Heating and Cooling for many years and are always pleased with their service. This time our furnace had gone out, just before Christmas. However we had many of our adult children returning home for the holidays (we have six). But with the weather turning colder needed it replaced fast. We paid a small fee to make that happen but were so pleased they were able to accommodate our needs before the holiday. We cannot tell you how much we have appreciated a working furnace during this cold snap!

Adam B. of Rhymes Heating and Cooling called to let us know he was on his way to our place for a scheduled appointment. He arrived promptly and immediately began his service work. When I asked him several questions, he was able to answer very easily and in a very understandable way. I felt comfortable that he knew what he was doing. Everyone I’ve encountered at Rhymes over several services has been friendly & professional. Some of the names are Darren, multiple Steve’s, Mike, & Ron (but I’m sure I’m forgetting at least a couple). They are responsive to messages, communicate well and are punctual with appointments.
Rhymes did a great job troubleshooting, quoting, and installing our new AC and furnace. They were able to get a tech, Adam, dispatched quickly to provide a diagnosis. Steve did a great job providing us options and scheduling our installation the same week. Ron and Matt very quickly installed the new unit which we're very happy with. It looks extremely professional and they answered all my questions. I'd definitely recommend using Rhymes.

I had a good experience with Rhymes. Their prices were better for the same (or better) brands as others I got quotes from, and the crew that installed my full HVAC replacement did the job, adapted to unexpected conditions well, and didn't complain even when fixing some problems caused the job to run a couple hours longer than expected. Would recommend!
I count on Rhymes for professional service. Everyone is friendly and more than fair. I purchased a new system a few years ago and the equipment and service have been completely reliable.

Our AC unit broke the day before we were planning to leave town over a holiday weekend (the 4th of July). What to say? Ron S. Is a rock star. He is totally knowledgeable about heating and cooling systems. He is courteous and thorough. He is happy to explain what he is doing and why he is doing it. Very aware and respectful of the customers property. If you have a chance to, ask for him!!
Our furnace stopped working on the coldest night of the year. We called Rhymes the next day and they had a service technician out within 2 hours. He offered to fix the problem but because our furnace was 35 years old, recommended that we look at new furnaces before spending a lot of money fixing the old one.The salesman came out and showed us all the options they offered. No pressure, just good information, knowledge, and experience in the industry. After looking at all our options, we decided to buy a new furnace. Rhymes offered multiple financing options, with zero out of pocket and well within our budget.The install team was out the next morning with our new furnace. The team was professional and had the old furnace out and the new one installed within a few hours. This all was accomplished in less than 24 hours. And with temps in the single digits, we were very thankful for the hard work and dedicated Rhymes staff from service, sales, and installation.I will not hesitate to recommend Rhymes to all my friends, family, and co-workers.

Rhymes Heating and Cooling beats their competitors in every metric, the most important being integrity and honesty. They are clearly not looking for a quick profit but rather for a loyal lifelong customer and they are willing to treat you well to earn your business. I had over 10 bids for my HVAC system replacement and Rhymes was far and away the best deal with full transparency in the equipment you are purchasing. The installers were very competent and experienced, no bait and switch in quality. Don’t waste your time and money with the big names in town, Rhymes is the way to go.

Once again, Rhymes hit it out of the park! I love how things are explained, and they are not pushy. I’m working on using this company for 25 years now, and would definitely use them for 25 more, if I could live that long!
Rhymes Heating & Cooling sent Mike V. to work on my ac, and he was awesome! After replacing the fan blade and motor, he discovered the compressor wire had burned off and thought we might have to do a new unit. Nope, not with Mike V., he totally went into MacGuyver-mode and fixed it. That's a big difference between $700 repair and $3,000 replacement. It was hot as hell outside and he could've just told me it wasn't fixable, and I'd have been none the wiser. Thankfully, that didn't happen. I would gladly recommend them to anyone who needs hvac service. Thank you Mike V.

We have used Rhymes multiple times and the techs are always on time, friendly and professional. Will continue to use them for our heating and AC issues and routine maintenance.
They were quick and responsive. I called early in the morning a little around 7:00 a.m. for a possible bad thermostat. They showed up about 3 hours later and replaced the broken thermostat in about 10-15 minutes. Very professional, friendly and were quick to diagnose and fix my problem. Big thanks!

Aaron did a great job. He called ahead to let us know he was on his way and was very thorough in his cleaning and checking of our heating system and humidifier. He was very professional and was sure to explain what he was doing and even double checked to make sure he didn't leave a mess behind.
Helpful, kind, and knowledgeable staff. We had help from Ron when we had a gas leak in which he did repairs and from Adam when we had problems with our heat from our furnace and ecobee thermostat. Prompt response when we called and gave us an estimated time frame in which they showed up during that time. Work was done well the first time without any issues. Would recommend.

The Rhymes installation team did an excellent job installing my new heat pump and basement fan/coil. The quality of work met my high expectations. I highly recommend Rhymes.
We had a new cooktop and exhaust fan installed. The exhaust fan was not an easy connection but Rhymes built a custom box for it. I called Rhymes and Michael was really helpful. He explained what needed to be done. Randy came out with all the materials and completed the project professionally. Other HVAC companies said it would take hours but because Randy came prepared it did not take that long. The cost was VERY reasonable. I would highly recommend Rhymes based on my experience with them.

Ron and Matt were sent by Rhymes to install a new A/C unit and remove and replace our furnace and thermostat. They were professional and efficient. All debris was removed from our site like they weren’t even there. I highly suggest!
Spire discovered a leak in my gas line and shut it off. Rhymes came out faster than anyone else I called. Ron was prompt at 7am, and found the leaks and repaired them. He needed a part, and some help so he called Joe and got the work done by around 9:30am.Ron was fast, friendly, and thorough. And the cost was lower than I predicted. Would definitely recommend them!

Installed complete new A/C and furnace in July when the A/C went out. The sales rep was cordial and detailed in explaining the options. The technician and his assistant who came to the house were competent and polite. They installed a complete top-of-the-line A/C and furnace skillfully, carefully and efficiently. It was amazing how many tasks they completed in one day! And a follow-up visit by Steve in the service department to help me connect online and understand the new thermostat was also very helpful. We recently bought a home and needed to upgrade the furnace and AC. We first got quotes from two other highly rated local companies. Each quote unexpectedly took about an hour, which was nothing more than a long sales pitch. While the companies offered great products (and probably a good value for their services), even their lowest-priced option was way out of our budget because they only carried one brand. One of the sales guys even incorrectly told us the wrong age of our AC and then tried to trash talk AC guys that don't know how to read the age properly off the unit (which struck us as very unprofessional, and ironic). Fed up with sales pitches taking up our time, we called Rhymes and explained that we just wanted a quick quote. They worked us in for a quote the very same day. The gentleman that came to give us the quote was quick and very professional. He even gave us some different options for how we could reduce costs, such as possibly re-using our current humidifier (the other companies said it would automatically have to be replaced). After getting on the books for the following week, the guys came out exactly on time, to the minute, and were respectful, clean, and efficient to replace our furnace and AC and install a new thermostat. Our new system is quiet and runs perfectly. They were also very quick about processing our rebate with Ameren; we received our check within just a few weeks, with no problems or additional information needed. We couldn't be happier with Rhymes!

I called Rhymes on Sunday afternoon and spoke with Michael R. and reported that my A/C had stopped working. We knew it was time to replace it, so I asked Michael how quickly he could get a new A/C installed. He called me back a short time later and said that he would have an install technician at our house at 7:00 a.m. Monday morning (the next day). As promised, David R. arrived at 6:45 a.m. Monday morning to install the new A/C, and we were back up and running within a few hours. David R. was very professional and courteous and did a nice job installing the new A/C. We have been Rhymes customers for many years and have never had a bad experience, and we have made several family members and friends customers of Rhymes as well.

Have been working with Rhymes H&C on putting together proposal(s) for replacement of our HVAC system. Thus far they are focusing on what is the best fit/system for our home rather than purchasing something more expensive than we need. As such they do care about customer satisfaction and not solely on their own business benefit. Comms are thorough and they are willing to listen and advise….HVAC system installation completed April 4th 2023 - A/C system replaced; Furnace replaced; Humidifier replaced; install new dehumidifier; replaced hot water tank; modified ductwork as required; added additional dedicated electrical circuit for dehumidifier; installed new smart thermostat in new location.The quality of work performed was excellent, I profess to being a perfectionist and it was great to see others that had similar attributes. David R. And Antonio T were at the house both days and provided impeccable workmanship. Randy was here Day 1 working new/replacement duct work - he too is a master craftsman.The installation team was accepting of any thoughts/opinions that I had and was totally focused on providing customer satisfaction.Steve and Stephen provided excellent details about what system (s) this house really needed rather than just selling a product.The whole process from start to end was brilliant. If anyone wants HVAC work performed I highly recommend Rhymes - they will not disappoint.

I can't say enough good things about Rhymes. We were having a problem with our air conditioner.... and they came out right away. Darren called me several times to inform me of the progress and check how we were doing. I was home with two small children and he was very concerned about the temperature in the house, which I really appreciated. Stephen and Frank both spent a lot of time diagnosing the problem and once it was solved, Frank drove all the way to Earth City to get the part so it could be fixed the same day. I highly recommend them!

Once again Rhymes came through with sending Riley to do our semiannual system check - this time cleaning & checking our A/C system. Our appointment was scheduled for the afternoon Noon-5 window and we were pleased when he arrived around 12:30. We're extremely satisfied with Riley's quality of work and professionalism. We will probably ask for him again in the Fall.
Rhymes installed a complete AC and heating system for us. (Ron &Matt; we’re great, so nice and really quick, clean and efficient). Our home needed some adaptations to the ventilation system and Rhymes came back to make that adjustment without further cost. (Randy, great job). A/C went out on Friday evening (6/18 - hottest day of the year)! Called Rhymes after hours and got an answering service who took my info and said someone would call back shortly. Less than 5 minutes later, I spoke with a polite, respectful man who said they couldn't get anybody out until Saturday morning which was fine with me as 2 other companies I called couldn't make it out until sometime the following week. I got a call from the service tech around 9:00 am on Saturday telling me he was 10 minutes away. He arrived, found the issue, swapped the part, and had my air running in less than a half hour. I did have an issue with my invoice and received a call directly from Stephen Ryan who was able to explain things to me and resolve the issue to my complete satisfaction. All 3 men I spoke with from Rhymes couldn't have been nicer or more respectful. I was completely satisfied with Rhymes and now will highly recommend them.

I called Rhymes yesterday morning (our 3rd 100 degree day in a row) and they said they would not be able to come until today (Thurs afternoon) .. about an hour or so after the initial contact they called me back and the Service Manager came out himself at about 2 pm and got me up and running. He said that he normally doesn't do these calls but he was so great to come out and get me fixed up and then he said he doesn't carry the tablet to get my invoice or take my payment. They emailed it to me today to take care of online. I have called them in the past and they are always great. I would absolutely recommend to others.

I have used Rhymes Heating and Cooling a few times. The service is quite good but they did overcharge me for a capacitor for my AC unit. They charged me $186.00 for it and I found the exact same one new on Amazon for $12.00. Is this normal for companies to make this huge mark up?

Very professional company. After scheduling an appointment through their website I was called and had an appointment set up the following day. Steven came out and was very professional and knowledgeable.I had 2 units that were beyond their lifespan and wanted to replace with high efficiency heat pumps. Their prices were very competitive and product lines were in the top rankings (Carrier was their main product line). As a comparison with a another company who sold Carrier, Rhymes quote came in almost $4k less for the same equipment.100% recommend getting a quote from Rhymes at a minimum. Based on my experience if your looking for Carrier equipment, they are the way to go.

I have used this company before and I liked how affordable it was and the response time. My a/c unit outside went out. They came and found that my compressor was bad on the unit. due to the age they suggested to get a new one and I did. The helped me through the financing, which was real easy and was told it would be a week before they could install it. I told them I have kids and it's about to get hot again, is there any way we can do it sooner and they were able to do it the next day. They came out and got it done. I couldn't been anymore grateful for them and making this happen. Thanks again and will definitely be using them on my next hvac needs. Called for A/C not cooling. Service advisor reviewed the issue I was having and any steps I had take to trouble shoot. He asked a couple of follow up questions. I had a tech scheduled for the day quickly and they arrived within a couple hours of the initial call on a Monday morning. They diagnosed the issue in minutes and already had the part based on initial conversations prior to the visit. I was quoted a reasonable price for the part and repair. The work was completed and confirmed. It took the courteous tech about 15 minutes total to take care of everything and answer all of my questions thoroughly on the repair and answer other questions. I would recommend others use their service for both new systems and maintenance. We have enjoyed their service for many years - and this as only our first time outside of the system purchase years ago we have needed additional service. The part that broke was the capacitor.

Aaron was very exceptional! He is very friendly, personable and helpful. His company really understands placing the customer's interest first is good business now and later. There was a number of possibilities why a part broke in my outside A/C condenser and ways the warranty and contract could have been interpreted, but Rhymes took the higher road, interpreting it all for my benefit, waiving service call, parts and labor. Not saying that is everyone's situation, but if it is a reasonable possibility, Rhymes will give you benefit of doubt, IMHO.

I've used for years to check my HVAC. This week, on a regular check, they found AND SHOWED ME a crack in my heat exchanger. It is a 15+ year old furnace...so time to replace, but they offered details on just replacing heat exchanger/ replacing furnace with various choices and levels...replacing whole system . No pressure, time given for decisions. And when I decided, they did it the next morning! My basement ended up CLEANER than when they arrived. I was given explanation of system and time to ask questions. VERY professional, nice and helpful, skilled work.

I called for a furnace repair right when they opened, a team member was here within 30 minutes and fixed the issue easily, explained the process and was incredibly kind and professional! Will definitely use this company in the future for any HVAC services we need.
I was able to get an appointment the same week I called for service. Mike was on time, super friendly, extremely knowledgeable and helpful. He backfilled my boiler tank which was almost empty, and got all of my radiators working in tiptop condition. Our furnace was recently acting up and was blowing cool air throughout the house. I have heard great things about Rhymes and decided to give them a call. The man I spoke with on the phone was very friendly and helpful. I was able to have a technician come out that same day. The technician was very professional and patient with all of my questions. Very professional and direct. Fixed the immediate problem and made it clear it was a bandaid, and because of the age of the unit wouldn't be practical long term. Didn't push anything or upsell anything, just made it work and gave good advice.

He gave honest opinions and options for our 14-year-old furnace (what could wait, what were the more pressing repair/replacements). I was disappointed with their service. When I called, the person on the phone was extremely friendly and was able to set up a visit for the same day, which was very nice. But that's about the positive things I have to say. I called because there was strange noise in the furnace. The technician didn't solve the issue or, even, showed any interested in finding the root of the problem. He just put a bit of tape that did nothing and said well, if this doesn't solve the issue, I don't know. Then he charged me extra for this additional work. Their installation manager was also supposed to call me afterwards to discuss an issue with the return vent. I never heard from him.

They came out quickly and the initial install was started within 3 days of signing a contract. They were quick and professional. Bad weather prevented the AC install from being completed, but since it was in the middle of winter we didn't really mind. Once the weather cleared they came back out and finished the job. I would not hesitate to call them again.

Service arrived earlier than expected. Performed repair, very professional and didn’t leave a mess.
Tech arrived an hour before 8 am appointment to inspect two story chimney flue liner. Used a mini flash light, mirror & iPhone to inspect flue from basement access. I was expecting a video camera with a cable probe. There was no way a liner failure in the upper 2/3 could be detected with this method. Most disappointed in this inspection & won’t hire them to replace my flue liner or service my HVAC system.

After watching our electric bills skyrocket this past winter we decided it was time to get competitive pricing to replace our 38 yr old system with a new system. First we had the big conglomerate guys in town come out and give us a price. They priced us some ridiculous number on a system that was way overkill. Next we had a smaller company that we heard about on the radio. They priced us a system that was cheap I felt was not adequate for my needs. In summary, I felt like they were trying to sell me what they wanted to sell me and not was I was asking for or needing. Then I called Rhymes and their salesman came out and sat down with me and did a thorough analysis of what my needs were, what kind of infrastructure was already in place, and what my budget was. They were able to give me several options at different price ranges and we quickly came to an agreement. They were able to install the new equipment in a matter of days. Everything from sales to installation was professionally handled and we are very satisfied with our new system and smaller electric bills. I would definitely recommend Rhymes Heating and Air to anyone needing a new system.

We have had repeated troubles with a 10 year old HVAC unit. Both times we called for service, the technician was able to come out within 24 hours. On this occasion (as in the past) technician was friendly, professional, knowledgable. They provided an estimate to replace the compressor fan motor which was noisy (no longer under warranty) but also suggested that I may just wait since the unit was still functioning. Appreciated the honest assessment and the very quick, polite, and professional service. Will definitely call them again in the future.
