Best Shut Off Valve in Sacramento CA

We contacted them on a Saturday due to an emergency water valve failure. They were there quickly especially given it was a weekend and the repair was done before I knew it!They did get my name wrong and called me Katie.. haha, but they got the job done almost immediately and really rescued us in a pinch. We will be hiring them for additional repairs!edited 3/3/21:I am so sad to have to change my review. As you can see from my original review, I thought I was pleased with their company. Unfortunately, for us, the additional repairs we contracted with 5 star plumbing did not go as well as we had hoped. After their stellar and quick response to get our water pipe capped off in an emergency, we were so impressed that we hired them to split the plumbing from one sink to a two sink set up, and had them replace all old valves at all the toilets.Regarding the sink job, we thought it went relatively smooth other than a mistakes in the slope level that they corrected, however, I was just informed by the remediation company, that they used an exterior fitting to split the pipe, and we have now had to hire another company to re do the whole job!The valve replacement was also a nightmare! It resulted in one of the new valves leaking, to which they sent someone to come fix it the next day, who said it wasn't leaking anymore... well, if your water is turned off, sure it doesn't leak! As soon as the water was restored to the home, it began leaking again. He claimed it was fixed and said sometimes that happens, but a few hours later we noticed that it was still leaking. Less than before, but still leaking.... the third time they came back, they did send someone else who managed to fix the leak.And, while this is a super minor issue overall, but, when replacing the water valves, they did not change the wall plate that goes with the valves, which typically get changed out all together. So we will have to hire someone to replace those separately which will mean removing all the valves that we hired them to replace...Basically,If you have water gushing from your home, they can probably handle a capping job proficiently. other than that, I cant recommend them.

We were very pleased with the end result.

Val is punctual, easy to work with, experience, knowledgeable, honest and very diligent. He explained what he will
be doing, which is exactly all the things stated by Rinnai the manufacturer and he showed me
a few tips that was not even listed any place else.
He uses food grade White Vinegar as Recommended by Rinnai, most other Rinnai certified PRO uses Descaler which is chemical solution.
We definitely will be calling him back not only for future yearly maintenance but other Plumbing related matters.

WHPs are the best. They switched me from a gas direct vent WH (very expensive) to a hybrid WH included the SMUD rebate. I got three other bids but they were the most competitive. Steve the tech who came out first to “scope” the job was very detail oriented as he wanted to get the job right. I agreed to his offer and he had an electrician on-sit that afternoon. The next day the installation tech - Andrew showed up on time with everything needed for the job and was great. He did a beautiful install, was very personable, and competent. I could not ask for better people to get me out of the cold water only jam that I was in. They were fast, competitive, competent, personable, cleaned up the job site, and explained everything to me. At no time did I wonder what was going to happen next. I will definitely recommend Water Heater Pro’s to my friends and relatives, and if needed, would use them again.

Very efficient band responsive - detected our pool leak and prepared the bid

About 45 days ago Eric installed my new Instant Hot Water Dispenser. I was extremely satisfied with the work done. Last week however, the dispenser while still running was dispensing at about 1/4 of the volume it had when installed. Eric came back out and after checking for kinked hoses, debris in the line etc., he called the manufacture to see if they had any other ideas. They asked him to run one more test. He did and (although it's a mystery as to why), It solved the problem. Eric then suggested and got the manufacturer to agree that I will live with it as is by if it happens again during the 3 yr warranty period they would replace it.
I will never use another plumber!

Mitch is just such a great plumber. He’s curious, easy to talk to, and extremely knowledgeable of plumbing issues.
