Yesterday (08/20/18) two gentlemen from Boyd Plumbing, both named Jeremy, came to my home to fix my drains (all of them); they were all backing up; their professionalism was superb. They showed and even explained the what and whys of their solution. All were fixed and today my home is running smoothly once again. YES, I would recommend Boyd to my Friends and Family with no hesitation. THANK YOU.

Boyd Plumbing came to replumb our entire home. Sonny had been to the house a few weeks ago to repair a leak in the master shower. We then had another leak in the spare bathroom shower. We asked about just replacing the entire house. The cost was VERY reasonable, the same as our neighbor paid with someone else a few years ago. Sonny and Jacob came and were so polite, respectful of our home and our schedule. I am a real estate agent and needed a plumber for one of my clients and Sonny showed up. He did a great job and the cost was more than reasonable. They not only do the job they were asked but make sure there are on other problems lurking (I don't crawl under homes). I have no hesitation hiring Boyd Plumbing for my clients or for us. AND....they are available pretty quickly. Thank you, Boyd Plumbing. I

Absolutely great service

sCAMMERS! Called for inspection of my drain that advertised as free. Then got call it will be $39 to apply to any work done. I said ok. Then Inspector comes here and says it will cost $250 to inspect the issue but estimate is free. WHAT? I told them exactly what I needed when I made appointment (camera inspection of pipes and maybe under house inspection). He would only inspect if I paid him $250. What a scam!

They don't work in our county so I had to find someone else.

I was told my kitchen and laundry lines were failing and in critical need for replacement. They showed me pictures. After a 1500$ estimate, they called to say they had some great news about it only costing 1200. So I had a couple other local companies come out to bid. All were about half what Boyd estimated. Then, when the crew I hired (long time reputable area co) got to the pipes, they said there was nothing wrong. It was just a little surface rust. They said the plumbing looked in good shape. They only charged me for 15min. Not to mention the Cadillac procedure Boyd quoted me for a sump pump. Fleecing customers. Will not use again. Will be sure to spread my story on all neighborhood social media.

Had to have Boyd Plumbing replace one of our water line pipes that was not encased properly and burst from pressure applied to the loose soil. I was able to locate the shutoff valve toward the back of the house, but they helped a lot.

Came out right away and put in a toilet very professional.

Jeremy was very friendly and thorough.

I spoke with the service manager there he agreed that a bid is not a request for an inspection he probably return my money I guess that's pretty honest he came right over probably took care of me I appreciate the service

Haven't met a friendlier plumber! I was getting the house in shape for our family visting during the holidays and needed new bathroom and kitchen fixtures installed and while they were at it had them fix a minor furnace issue. He was very detailed when I asked him to explain the furnace problem and even politely took off his shoes because he saw that I was having the carpets cleaned. Great service all around, I will probably schedule an appointment with them again after new years.

Honestly, plumbing is a bit of a black box for me - I assume professional plumbers do their work correctly. Given this, Boyd stands out for me due to several other factors: very professional, customer focused, solid reputation, larger regional business that's not going away (but not too big like Bonney) and they treat their customers with respect and priority. So, if the pipes are going to get repaired either way, all of these other factors make a big difference in differentiating a company like Boyd as top notch. Why would I pay the same price for a one man show whose office is a cell phone in a work van?

Scheduled two days out from when I called. They call me the day of the scheduled appointment to tell me it will be moved from 10-2 to 2-6 after. I already scheduled off half a day from work. Inconsiderate of their customers time. Worthless to wait two days waste time off, have to reschedule with somebody else and waste more time off.

Jeremy has helped with many plumbing issues. He is very personable and professional. He offers solutions and alternatives that might save money.

Steven is friendly and professional. He took the time to explain things.

Beware, they do not take responsibility for their mistakes. We paid them to inspect of sewer lateral. They assured us it was in great condition (in writing). Turns out they only inspected the first 40% of the lateral. The rest of the 60 feet of lateral were close to collapsing. We found out the truth of the condition of the lateral after we bought the property.

To date they refuse to make good on their assurance that the lateral was in great condition and have refused to make good on their incompetent technician's inspection. They gave this assurance in writing.

In effect, they lied to us in order to make a few hundred dollars. We relied on their inspection results (they did not even inspect the damaged 60' long area of the sewer lateral!) As a result we have spent about $30,000 on unexpected repairs.

When your employee lies about their work and it causes damages to your client, you should take responsibility for the damages.

Apparently, Boyd Plumbing recently was acquired by Bonney Plumbing. But they operate under both names.

I have been calling and leaving messages for 3 work days for the manager to talk to me about a serious problem with a previous service. I was given the names of Nick Camuso and his boss Sam. Neither one has bothered to even give me the courtesy of a return phone call.

Their website presents the company a a caring and responsive company. This is not my current experience.

Four years ago we bought a home in Sacramento. We hired Boyd Plumbing (Boyd was recently acquired by Bonney Plumbing, Electrical, Heating & Air) to video our sewer lateral. The tech was prompt, inspected the lateral, and notified us that the sewer lateral was in good condition.

Three weeks ago we had a major problem with the sewer lateral - so far a $10,000 emergency service bill with an estimate of $19,000 addition in repairs.

Turns out the sewer lateral is 130' long and the inspecting plumber (4 years earlier) had only videoed 45' feet of it. It turns out that the last 90' were not in good shape and need replacing 4 years ago.

The plumber never told us that he only videoed 1/3 of the lateral. Had he videoed the entire lateral, we could have required the seller to repair the lateral before we bought the property. Now that option is lost.

The lack of response by Bonney Plumbing, Electrical, Heating & Air is not appreciated.

Israel was very polite and knowledgeable in repairing our water pipe leak.

The kitchen sink was clogged and leaked. Sean assessed the setup, gave a reasonable qoute, and promptly performed the service. He was friendly, helpful, and fast. He took care to keep the kitchen clean. He wore covers on his boots and a face mask. The service was excellent.

Beware! They will attempt to sell you services that you dont need and then charge you for it.
Like they did to me. The tecnician offered to check if drain is plugged in addition to fixing the leak by saying ”i can take a look at it”.
The fee was not included in the estimate, but was later added to the bill! “Looking” cost me $150!

Everyone we dealt with was super nice and very professional, starting with Sue on the phone, by phone/email/text or in person. Vanesa H and Jacob M. made the experience feel like we were their favorite customers. The work was completed quickly and professionally. Rather than try to do extra work that I would have to pay for Jacob advised against the costly extra work as it was not necessary at this time. This is the second time I have used Boyd and when I have another issue I will not hesitate to call up Boyd Plumbing. Thank you everyone.

I've used Boyd plumbing in the past and am quite satisfied with there service. This last service call I thought was way overpriced. My water heater would not light. The tech came out diagnosed the problem and relit the heater. He said a temp sensor needs replacing but that he did not have the means to get the part. He gave me the part number and the phone number of who to call for the part. He was there maybe half and hour and it cost me $350.00 and my heater is still not fixed. I have a call into the water heater manufacturer to get the part but they have not called back. I'll have to call again.

Courteous, professional and friendly Technician did a quick and clean job, And this was on a Sunday afternoon. Highly recommended.

Took three weeks, two phone calls and four emails to get him to send the quote I paid for on the day of the visit. The quote received was twice the amount of the other two companies who came out. He wanted $1123. to change out a kitchen sink (already purchased) in a place where one already exists. He also gave me a quote to replace my water heater which is not broken and works fine. It cost $999. His quote was $2200. These people are way overpriced. The office staff does seem very nice though.

They came within a couple of hours and unclogged our kitchen drain in a timely manner. He was very friendly and did a good job cleaning up.

I was in quite a pickle with my tub would not drain, stuff backing up into my toilet and sink. I called Boyd since they were the first on the list. I can say I am more than glad I called them. They came out same day because they had an opening (lucky me) and got this situated! Technician came out to me at NO COST and then gave me pricing and options based on what he say happening in my home. I decided to go with the work the same day! If I would recommended someone it would definitely be Boyd!

Team leader Jeremy and associate Jacob were superb. Braving small crawl-ins, snakes, mud, broken faucets, a faulty PRV, and more, they found and fixed the problem, even staying til sunset one day to be able to get it done and get water. Great attitude, was on time, I always knew when they were coming, and they explained things clearly to me, a non-plumber.

We had a busted water heated. leaking from the top seam, plumbing was old, Boyd took care of it and the homeowner master shut off (near the house - not the one on the street). They were quick. very good service.

This is the 2nd time I have had Sonny and I requested him when I made the appointment. I am a long time Boyd customer. Sonny arrived as promised, with mask and shoe guards. He was knowledgeable, worked efficiently, and cleaned up when he was finished. He was pleasant and courteous, even with my dog barking at him, and provided all of the information I needed or requested. Nice job !

I called Boyd Plumbing about a leaking outdoor faucet pipe. They send Brian over the next morning. He looked at the pipe, did some digging around it and told me that the water that was leaking from the bottom of the pipe was not coming from the pipe but was coming from a berm not too far away. The pipe was located in the lowest part of the yard and that was where the underground water was collecting. He said that there was no work needed and did not charge me for the service call. Brian was very knowledgeable, professional, and polite. I will call Boyd Plumbing with any future problems and ask for Brian.

technician (jacob) arrived promptly same day and replaced our garbage disposal which was making a humming noise only,he inspected to make sure there was nothing blocking its operation. service was quick and friendly very happy

I'm very happy with my service from Boyd Plumbing. I originally called another plumber who said they would call me back and Boyd Plumbing managed to get here and complete the job before I even received that call back from the other company. The plumber, Steve, was very nice and knowledgeable and did a quick and thorough job. He explained my options and let me know before he completed the work how much it would cost. My daughter accidently flushed the top part of her siphon hose from her fish tank down our toilet. It got stuck in the neck of the toilet. We could not get it to come out or go all the way down so I called Boyd Plumbing. They had their techician, Sean, come out the same day. Try as he might, he could not get it out either. He gave us 3 options to remedy the problem. Since our toilet was old, we decided to get a new one. We bought the one pictured, Sean came out the next morning and removed the old one and installed the new one. The price quoted and charged, which ended up the same, I think was reasonable. Now, we have a new toilet that will last us another 40 years. I would use Boyd Plumbing again for any other plumbing problem we may occur.

Jeremy came out and gave us a quick rundown of services that should be completed so that our tankless water heater would reach its full life expectancy. Courteous, knowledgeable and honest.

Called Boyd Plumbing to get a professional second opinion and estimate to address possible high house water pressure and minor water hammer issues.
Jacob was outstanding and exceeded my expectations. He basically told me that I didn't have a problem. The pressure was normal and the water hammer was nothing to be concerned about. I appreciate the fact that he didn't try to promote unnecessary repairs that another plumber had erroneously identified. I will definitely use Boyd Plumbing in the future for my plumbing needs.

About 45 days ago Eric installed my new Instant Hot Water Dispenser. I was extremely satisfied with the work done. Last week however, the dispenser while still running was dispensing at about 1/4 of the volume it had when installed. Eric came back out and after checking for kinked hoses, debris in the line etc., he called the manufacture to see if they had any other ideas. They asked him to run one more test. He did and (although it's a mystery as to why), It solved the problem. Eric then suggested and got the manufacturer to agree that I will live with it as is by if it happens again during the 3 yr warranty period they would replace it.
I will never use another plumber!

Boyd Plumbing is awesome. They are quick to respond. On Thanksgiving morning my sink decided to back up-REALLY?? I proceeded to panic. I decided to call Boyd with reservation due to it being Thanksgiving. They sent out a technician out within an hour. They saved my day. Thank you Boyd, you will be my go to. Excellent.

Took me a week to realize our water heater had sprang a leak at which point I went to seek out some advice if I could maybe repair it or if I had to replace the unit itself. They came out and confirmed that the tank would need to be replaced. The two guys managed to get it completed on time (early actually), and they did a solid installation job as well, earthquake bracings and all. Scheduling wasn't a problem granted I had them come out later in the day when I would be home. Thumbs up from me.

Boyd Plumbing was wonderful for our plumbing needs. We were recommended them by the Trenchless Company, great as well, who doesn’t do water heater work. Unfortunately the guys who flipped the house we bought left off some critical safety functions for our water heater. Once we called Boyd they immediately sent someone out same day. Our technician, Jeremy, was fabulous. He was professional, extremely knowledgeable and patient with all of my questions. I’ve always been one to want to know how to fix more things around the house myself and he was happy to walk through everything he we doing for us, like the yearly clean out. He quickly went out and got the parts needed, and fixed us up within a couple hours. I also appreciated that they do their clean out with vinegar since it is just as efficient as the chemicals and much better for the environment. Before he left for the day, Jeremy made sure to ask if I had any other questions about anything with our house, and that I knew what to look for with the new equipment if there were any issues. Now two weeks later he just came by to make a couple adjustments since everything has settled with the hot water expanding and contracting the new parts. We are remodeling our home, and so far, Jeb from Boyd Plumbing has only visited our house to gather info so they can provide an estimate for the plumbing changes we need. I called on Wednesday and they called back within a couple of hours and scheduled an appt for Friday (today). Once we receive the estimate I'll decide if we use Boyd Plumbing.

Jeremy came out and was on-time. He assessed the problem and gave me two options. He repaired the problem quickly and was very clean.

Worker arrived approached without mask - we were okay; but, I thought should approach house with mask; no estimate, minor part that was $37 from Home Depot; I had already disassembled the handle; it took worker less than 5 minutes to replace - we lost a screw to reattach valve handle which I was left with that additional problem to solve on my own... We both feel it is criminal to charge $402 for this very minor service - will never use this company again and will make that clear to friends and colleagues! Feel very angry and violated about this company!

When I discovered early Thursday morning my hot water heater was leaking; I called Boyd and I received service that samw day. Their tech, Colton arrive on time, went to purchase the equipment etc. It took him just a little over 3 hours. He was kind, respectful and explained what needed to be done. I was very pleased with the whole process.

I have called Boyd plumbing out on two separate occasions since they earned my trust from the very first appointment. Jeremy and Kyle came by and installed new pipe and drain to relocate my washer into a closet space across the room. Now I have a laundry room. Second call was to relocate my kitchen sink from central wall to a window wall. Job was completed in 3 days and Jeremy made me a cabinet to hold my existing sink temporarily until my kitchen remodel was completed. Awesome job and was quickly approved by the city inspector. Thank you so much for a job well done!!!

Eric and Mike were great. Very thorough and explained everything clearly. They went the extra mile when the first snake attempt didn't clear the issue and were still true to the original estimate.

They came out quickly to replace a 23 year old water heater. A month later, there was an additional issue but they came out immediately and resolved it. They are amazing.

I called a different company first, and that didn't go well. I wish I had just started with Boyd. Their knowledge, attention to detail, and customer service is great. Would hire them again without hesitation. And I love that they send you a photo of the guy who's coming out with a little bio, and they let you know when he's on the way instead of just giving a general time window. First class operation.

Professional, reliable, good job

A Bonny Technician (Mark Byrd) replaced the fill valve and backwash valve for my pool. First, the quote was outrageous, almost $500 for replacements of valves; not the fault of the technician. Still, what a rip off. Second, he used a combination of PVC pipe and brass. It looked worse than what was there before. Third, he didn’t bother replacing the 20 year old spicket. The absolute worst! It is operational or my rating would have been 1 star. How long will this cheap PVC pipe last? Galvanized metal was there before. I do not recommend Boyd or Bonny for any plumbing work.

Boyd Plumbing sent a technician out the very same day I called! The repair technician informed me on what my problem could be and found the solution. Even went above and beyond my expectations in taking care of an outdoor sprinkler line that he was checking the overall plumbing system.

This was the second time I've used them, both times Jeremy was my Technician. He is so nice and professional. Boyd stands behind their work and gives a 1year warranty. With Boyd's pricing and employee's why go anywhere else. Customer for life right here.

Boyd Plumbing is fantastic and I highly recommend their services. Even before moving in, a toilet overflowed at my new-to-me house. Well beyond my expectations, they were able to send a technician out in about two hours. Eric was great! He was professional, courteous, friendly and, above all, knowledgable. He fixed the toilet issue as well as other concerns that had come up in the home inspection. Then he took the time to walk me through the house and explain some of the plumbing features and functions. Definitely beyond the call of duty. Boyd Plumbing would get 10 stars if that were possible and thanks again Eric!

Colton came to give us a quote on a new water heater. He also unclogged the bathtub drain in my kids' bathroom. Colton was so professional and explained everything clearly. Sometimes people are good at what they do, but you can tell they don't like their job and they don't want to be there. Colton had such a positive attitude and an authentic willingness to help.
Also, the quote for the water heater replacement was a great price! We will be using Boyd Plumbing again for our plumbing needs and I am very excited to get our new water heater next week!

I was most impressed with the knowledge, experience and dedication to perform a perfect a job by Jeremy. He explained all the options for the plumbing tasks and issues that I wanted completed. The best choices were selected, a reasonable estimate was given and the job was completed very professionally. I would definitely recommend Jeremy, and I will probably be calling upon him again for other plumbing jobs that I need to have done.
