The install was 100 percent professional Dani was our installer she walked into more then was bargained for, but it did not phase her one bit when something popped up she faced with a curtious professional smile and fixed and updated a very out of date water heater. Mike one of the technicians verbally stated a week without hot water was not an emergency unless we get paid extra for it and we'd have loved to pay extra for it, unfortunately Mike answered the phone at a number given to us by our home warranty company and he couldn't be more bothered to discuss the issue, cursing several times, talking over me, and laughing, belittling the fact that a house 6 people and 3 kids have no hot water, Mike and subsequently Vanallen plumbings stance that there is no emergency unless Vanallen gets paid extra (Vanguard as professionals can not assess the situation take ownership and call for a fee increase? Wonder why..... Popular football game weekend... Go figure Mike stated we just don't work Weekends to my wife after the big game they do? well if your paid extra and no football Mike and Vanallen does, but it's situational. Currently carving out as much time as I need to bring attention to Vanallen Plumbing and their core values and the pillars that make up their belief system as a business and ensure on my end that today every warranty company that gives them warranty work will know, it's my goal to hopefully show the warranty company's the reasons why they should eliminate sending work orders to them, I personally have been a technician for many years but am traveling currently or I'd have not bothered Mike and Vanallen during football, Mike refused give me his bosses number, fair. Enough but when you call every person on the website or the main number, it just goes straight to Mike.

I have used the plumber Johnny from River city plumbing for years. This man has fixed and replaced many items in my house. I have had a toilet moved and replaced with a new one. A new and bigger water heater replaced. My fridge water line hooked up. A new sink and faucets put in and the garbage disposal- which has been serviced since. These guys are professional, always on time for appointments, and kind.
I’ve had lots of money put in my house with new toilets/sinks/faucets/water heater ect- and these guys delivery 5 star service while they do it. I only call this guy, they have my trust and loyalty while I live in the Reno - Sparks area.

I wish I had more stars to give Wiley's. I am so thankful for Wiley's and their customer service - I WAS a customer of Sierra Air, do not use them! Sierra Air came out to do yearly service, I was on their preferred service program. Technician that came, did not seem confident in what he was doing, spent time in attic and finally came down and said we have a problem, discovered the heat exchanger unit had cracks, corrosion and stress and there were traces of carbon monoxide through-out my house. Mind you, I hire a company to be able to trust them. The technician could not answer my questions, just asked if I had space heaters, I said no, and he basically had nothing to say, I called his manager, he started asking my questions like, am I experiencing headaches etc. Also, I have detectors in my house none of them have gone off. So you could imagine how I was feeling at this point. They said they would send out a new tech which turned out to be from their design department. Turned out the first technicians tools he was using was faulty and was not working properly. At the end of the day, this guy had me talked into a sale of 7K, and pretty much worked off my emotions and fear.

Luckily, I spoke with a friend, referred me to Wiley's and I got a second opinion right away, Mike with Wiley's came out right away, he was very knowledgeable, eased my mind and made me feel comfortable that I was safe. He went through my house checking for monoxide, no detection. He said I do not need to replace my heater, that my heater was working fine, there was no detection of carbon monoxide and when I do need to replace it, it would be around 4000, not 7000. I asked him if he thought I should have them service the unit just in case Sierra Air didn't do it right, he said he was not comfortable charging me for a service I did not need. He went further on to explain how the monoxide detectors work, what to do if one did go off and that if I needed anything to please reach out to him. When I asked a question, he knew the answer. I also have a friend that works at a plumbing company here in town and also said Wiley's is fantastic.

If you want someone you can trust and a company that is honest and doesn't work off commission, reach out to Wiley's they are the best and looks out for your safety and best interest

I had a major winter problem with snow covering the vents for the water heater and furnace. Don immediately came out, evaluated the problems and got to work with his crew. He worked with the furnace repairman, kept me informed and solved the problem. This is a man that knows the worD SERVICE.

They cancelled with less than 24 hours notice on a job that I explained when making the appointment the previous month had to be done on the day I set the appointment. Then they got angry when I was upset with them. Very unprofessional all around.

The quote that I received was rather high. It's understandable seeing that they didn't want to under shoot the job. I needed an old 3 handle hot/cold setup changed to a single handle action. I tore down the wall of tile to make everything accessible (I'm redoing the tile anyhow) I had the plumber(s) come and literally took an hour. I saved a huge amount of time by doing the demolition myself. I was happy with the amount of time they were in and out. From what I see it looks good, I have yet to get any tile work done, so I can't really gauge the functionality. However here is where I'm lost. I apparently got charged for 3 hours, when mind you it was an hour maybe, maybe an hour and 10 min. I got charged for their drive time, that wasn't in the quote. I got charged for the time it took them to get the part I needed, that wasn't in the quote. What was in the quote was hours to complete the job and parts. That's usually what you're paying for. When I go to dinner, I don't pay a fee for someone slaughtering my cow do I? That's completely bogus, I'm not happy whatsoever.
