Mike one of the technicians verbally stated a week without hot water was not an emergency unless we get paid extra for it and we'd have loved to pay extra for it, unfortunately Mike answered the phone at a number given to us by our home warranty company and he couldn't be more bothered to discuss the issue, cursing several times, talking over me, and laughing, belittling the fact that a house 6 people and 3 kids have no hot water, Mike and subsequently Vanallen plumbings stance that there is no emergency unless Vanallen gets paid extra (Vanguard as professionals can not assess the situation take ownership and call for a fee increase? Wonder why..... Popular football game weekend... Go figure Mike stated we just don't work Weekends to my wife after the big game they do? well if your paid extra and no football Mike and Vanallen does, but it's situational. Currently carving out as much time as I need to bring attention to Vanallen Plumbing and their core values and the pillars that make up their belief system as a business and ensure on my end that today every warranty company that gives them warranty work will know, it's my goal to hopefully show the warranty company's the reasons why they should eliminate sending work orders to them, I personally have been a technician for many years but am traveling currently or I'd have not bothered Mike and Vanallen during football, Mike refused give me his bosses number, fair. Enough but when you call every person on the website or the main number, it just goes straight to Mike.

Mark, the owner, came over personally to see that my Water main was leaking. He came with an assistant the next day and fixed it. He uses the highest quality parts. He schooled me on things plumbers often say that are supposedly necessary, however they’re not. That certain appliances can be repaired instead of replaced. I’ll never use a different plumber. I feel so lucky to have found Mr. Don Weston. I needed to change out my kitchen faucet. He was the first to respond. He is amazingly communicative and flexible: answers texts, calls, and emails in a timely fashion; has excellent availability/lead time; sent me photos of his work; is personable and warm; is willing to actually talk about his findings and be instructive on how to use my new fixture and things to look out for in the first days after installation (vs some professionals who come and go and don’t want to communicate beyond a sentence on the invoice). His rates are extremely reasonable. I feel confident he will stand by his work and respond to me as needed. He is trustworthy, let himself in and locked up behind himself. Mine was a smaller job and he treated it with the same care and priority as a big one. Really grateful to have found such a consummate professional. S&S replaced my old water heater. They did a great job and also added an expansion tank. They quickly got the old one out and the new one in. Same day service was much appreciated as well.

My water heater failed sunday afternoon and first thing monday morning I went to home advisor and found Straight up plumbing. I left a message with them before they had opened for the day. They reached out to me within in minutes (before they had opened) and asked what my problem was and told me they would be to me asap. At 8:20 The tech.(Robert Quintana was at my door. I showed him what was going on he gave me a quote and finished a new hot water heater instal 2 1/2 hrs. My total experience from start to finish was handled perfectly ... I do recommend Straight up plumbing and will keep their magnet on my fridge for future needs Trent Dowell

So wonderful and professional! They came out to do the faucet in the backyard, which ended up also having to fix the toilet in the master bath. Explained everything, took pictures, did a great job! Definitely recommend!
