We worked with Joe on many complicated plumbing projects in our house. He was so great to work with. Knowledge and profession. Can’t thank him enough for all the time he dedicated to fixing leaks, clogs and helping us with a DIY bathroom remodel. Chris was also present on many of the jobs and equally a great to work with We will definitely be using Benjamin Franklin plumbing again in the future!

We had an excellent experience with Midtown Plumbing. They replaced three toilets in our home with prompt, professional service. The technicians were courteous and efficient. I would recommend Midtown to anyone needing a plumber!

We have a leak in a bathroom sink which Eugene D via Daniel “repaired” 8 months ago. Brand new parts were purchased and they installed.

The entire assembly came apart this week and water was leaking worse than before. Eugene’s response was to share that we were way past their labor warranty and offered an even higher price to come out and fix again showing no concern for what seems to be poor workmanship the first time.

I was persuaded by all the great comments here to use this outfit. Would you expect a sink with new parts installed to work longer than 8 months? I do!

Edit as of 8/17: we received another response by Eugene D, blaming the situation on the new parts. While trying to defend his work he admitted that they knew the product we had bought from Lowe’s was not good and wouldn’t last, but since we didn’t ask, they installed it anyway. This of course gives them the chance to charge us again for the same project. In my experience, this is not someone who will partner with you when/if anything goes wrong.

Fair warning: it seems most of the glowing feedback on here is immediately after the project and not months later…

The team was professional and on time. The repaired my shower quickly and discovered the reason for the leak was due to the subfloor not being cut far enough back away from the drain. This caused a micro leak that took years to build up in my dining room ceiling. They took extra time to cut out the sub floor properly to ensure the leak wouldn’t occur again down the road. While here they also discovered my water pressure regulator had completely stopped working and I was receiving 110psi in my house and repaired that issue as well. The guys were friendly and professional. I highly recommend based on my experience with them.

I recently relocated to Raleigh and had some work done on the house that required the carpenters to remove the toilet to lay down a wood floor. It was obvious that the wax seal had deteriorated and needed to be replaced. I researched plumbers on YELP and found that CK Plumbing had excellent reviews. I called to make an appointment and everyone I dealt with was helpful and friendly. Sean and his coworker showed up at my house on schedule, re-placed the wax ring and re-seated the toilet. The charge was what was quoted. I won't hesitate to call them again for more work, or when I redo my bathroom.

I can't say enough good about PlumbV! I've told all my neighbors about them. If I have a problem, I am confident that they're going to get there as soon as they are able, and that they've got my best interests at heart. I was so impressed with the admin organization, from sending a clear estimate, to scheduling, to billing. PlumbV has the right stuff. I'm so glad I found them.

2016 -- Initial Review: Being new to Raleigh, we had no idea who to call for our plumbing needs. I called Chris at CK's for an estimate on a Sunday to replace our 50 gallon gas hot water tank that had sprung a leak. Not only did he answer personally on the weekend, but told us we were being grossly overcharged. We had gotten a free estimate that was over $1,000 more for the same job from a highly publicized national company (their name rhymes with tota-tooter). We were going out of town the next weekend and it was important that we get the issue taken care of immediately before it got out of control and flooded our house. They squeezed us in the very next day -- Chris came personally to do the job -- and were done in less than two hours. Thank you, Chris! We now have found our go-to plumber! I could not recommend this company enough!!

2022 Update -- On Saturday night we had our toilet spring a leak in our downstairs half bath. It flooded half of the house. We couldn't even turn the shut off valve the whole way off because of it. I called CK's on Monday morning. By 1:00 pm they came, fixed, the issue and left. Chris and Matt are the best!!

Ryan was great. He was professional and courteous. Came in and got the job done thoroughly and without fail. He also offered several solutions if the problem persists.

Finding a consistently good plumber is a great thing. We just installed a Rinnai hot water system, and a Halo 5 water filter on our 10-yr -old house. We love working with Will who is both imminently qualified and patient as we learn the new technology. We also had the plumbing home inspection, and caught a number of problems before they presented while we had family visiting. Will is proactive, practical and wise in his recommendations. It is our hope to stay with Will and CK for the future. I recommend them both highly.

Justin and Grisham's performance in installing the gas line for a grill was exceptional. These two young gentlemen displayed a high level of professionalism and respect throughout the entire process. I was thoroughly impressed with the quality of their work and their attention to detail. I wish i could give 0 stars. Anthony came to our house thru old republic home warranty co. Home owner beware, DO NOT call him! What a scam! He came on 2/10 to fix a few leaks under the house. Came in initially saying he didn't see any leaks. Really!!
I told him that the my husband, the inspector and our contractor both had seen several.
Finally said he saw one. Explained that the shower valve was also not operating correctly and leaking. He replaced the shower valve having to go out and come back with one. Leaving one of the screws hanging out!
I'm also asked him to fix the leak in one of the master sink faucets. This was not covered by the warranty co. He claimed to have fixed the leak charging me an additional $125. In addition to the $75 show up charge. The inspector came back to check the repairs, the faucet handle came completely off not secured properly. And only one leaking coupling was repaired.

He came back today to fix the faucet, well an hour later calls and said it cant be fixed and he would see if he could find a replacement handle. The handle as not broken prior to him fixing leak. HE broke the handle and want to charge me for another visit and parts!? I could have purchased a brand new faucet for $59 at lowes! Find yourself a qualified LOCAL plumber, not this guy from New York!

I ask for a quote on installing a water softener they told me they charge 1100 to 1500 dollars on an install that would take an hour. Normally I pay 400 to 500 dollars for this install. Be careful using this company
