Wes is everything you are looking for in a plumber! Pleasant, professional, reliable, efficient and well-priced. He came the next morning after I called him and repaired a leaking pipe under the house, replaced two faucets, repaired a faucet and replaced parts on three toilets. We would definitely recommend him to anyone in need of his services!

Two days before Christmas my garbage disposal and pipes under my sink just fell apart. Dustin was at my house within two hours and had a new garbage disposal installed, everything working, and even checked a few things for me as a courtesy, like my water heater and water pressure. I appreciated his prompt response, his courteous demeanor, and the fact that he got everything fixed in time for Christmas!

Fasco has come out to our house a handful of times now for various plumbing problems. (Mostly due to the hell that is polybutylene pipes.) I have no complaints at all about their service. They've been straightforward, do good and honest work, and have had good prices. I wouldn't think twice about recommending them.

Definitely recommended. I called after I had struggled to get through to and schedule a well-known plumber whom a friend recommended, pretty concerned because water was gushing up out of my front yard (think artesian well) and creating a waterfall into the storm drain, & sweeping huge amounts of sediment into the creek on my property line, despite my efforts to control it, shut off water to my house, contact the city, etc. (As a water scientist, the creek part bothered me, but also, of course, I was afraid I was running up a huge water bill.) Jayk's answered promptly and came right out. The poor guy who got stuck with the job (might have been Louis, but this was a year or two ago, and I forget) neatly and persistently dug out probably a few cubic meters of my front yard (and didn't even kill the plants in my straggly garden like the AT&T cable-laying folks did in the same area) with a shovel, in what I remember to be rather intense heat, and remained calm and good-natured through the whole ordeal. By exposing the pipes (and which way the water was flowing, via which holes continued to gush), he was able to demonstrate that the water was coming not from pipes that belonged to me, but from a city water main with an unusual bend into my yard. (Under, or at least nearer the street is normal.) The folks at Jayk's charged me a ridiculously low price for this service (way less than usual for a plumber; can't have covered their expenditures) because they hadn't been able to actually solve the problem; they can't mess with the city's pipes. However, Jayk's gave me the evidence I needed to persuade the city government to check their maps, realize that I actually did have a city water main in my yard, and send out a team to fix it, which was an entertaining production involving five or six jolly guys and a backhoe, but only about twice as much earth movement as that one guy from Jayk's did on his own by hand. Remarkable.

We had a problem with our water heater in the apartment, and initially I called a different company - which was my mistake. Not only did they give me an estimate for more than $700 to just change one part, they also couldn't find this part for a few days! Thank God, I contacted Eugene at The Art of Plumbing! He was super friendly, calm, professional and knew exactly what to do. He found the part at the online suppliers' in seconds, called the manufacturer to make sure all the technical characteristics would match and came over to fix our mixing valve very soon. It took him less than an hour, which obviously ended up costing me a few times cheaper than the other company had quoted! Also, Eugene offered a few other options for a solution, which I found very interesting! He said we could do different things with the faucets, in order to avoid ordering and changing the mixing valve itself if we wanted to cut the costs even more - there were ways to adjust every faucet separately and regulate different temperatures in the kitchen sink, bathroom, shower, etc. He suggested that this technique was often preferred and used by commercial properties where they need to reach different water temperatures and different outlets - this means Eugene is an expert in both residential AND commercial plumbing! Great attitude, great sense of humor, great quality of work and great prices! Highly recommended!!! Thanks again Eugene!

We had restoration that needed to be done. They installed a temporary sink in our kitchen by the request of our restoration company. I received an invoice for over $200 and I made payment on it not aware that they also invoiced the restoration company for the same amount and they also paid. Fast forward a few months and I get another invoice for almost $300 for subsequent work on this temporary sink to which they also invoiced the restoration company. I am due a refund yet their response to me is “no ma’am no ma’am no ma’am you absolutely will not get a refund” Proof of payment on both of our parts have been sent to Swartz and they will not respond to me to give me my refund. I would not use them I would not recommend them I think they’re extremely Rude and unprofessional.

I called William on a whim, having abandoned the idea of personally roughing-in the small house I've been renovating for myself. He talked through my project with me for a good 25 minutes on our first call, then met me at the job to check and modify my layouts. I was impressed by his knowledge of the code, and his nonchalant, get it done attitude really helped me along at a time when I was bogged down and stressed out by the many moving parts of my project. His helper Raul was a true craftsman--together they did an artful job running my drains, vents, and supply lines. I also appreciated his ordering my bathtub for me at cost, allowing me to utilize his discount with the supplier. In retrospect I have no regrets, whatsoever, about having subbed this work out, but I also realize my good fortune in having found a stand-up, capable plumber like William on my first try. This, I think, is much easier said than done in the Triangle's rabid residential building scene.
