I began having water backup in my master bathroom when taking showers, and within a few days, it escalated into water AND sludge spitting out of the sinks. I was referred to TCR by my regular plumber, since it seemed to be a drainage issue. I called TCR on a Monday morning about 8:30 am, received a call back before 9:30 am that a service person was on the way. He arrived within 10 minutes, was able to diagnose the problem immediately (roots clogging our drainage pipe), and had it fixed within 30 minutes. That's what I call awesome service. I will not hesitate to call TCR again for plumbing problems, and I will definitely recommend them to my friends and family in the Raleigh/Cary/Apex area.

The technician, Scott, did a good job checking our air conditioning system, installing a new capacitor and explaining the yearly maintenance plan to us.Yet, I am very disappointment that the Phenomenal Aire unit we paid big money for four years ago was not working and cannot be repaired. Schwartz Plumbing is a reputable company and does excellent work. They replaced my water line between the house and meter and also did the plumbing for my kitchen remodel. But when I called them out to provide an estimate for a tankless water heater installation, they charged me $70 after the estimate was provided, to be applied to my bill if I decided to have them do the work. I had a couple other companies also provide estimates at no charge, so I especially didn't appreciate them slipping in this fee after the fact.

Mike Pallares from Cape Fear HVAC in Raleigh, NC came to my house for basic maintenance services in December, 2021, and again for follow-up work in January, 2022. In addition to basic maintenance work for heating, he connected the common line on both of my systems, needed to properly provide power to my digital thermostats, and installed an improved emergency shutoff switch for the cooling subsystem to mitigate against flooding in the case that the overflow drain becomes clogged. In the past, with a prior system I did have a problem with an incorrectly installed shutoff system when there was a problem, and the drain pan did overflow, causing damage to the ceiling in my kitchen. I was using a different HVAC service at that time, and have since switched to Cape Fear. The new switch that Mike installed is an important upgrade.

Mike was courteous and friendly during both visits to my house, and demonstrated that he is quite knowledgeable about these systems, how they are meant to be installed and maintained, and how they work. Mike was detail oriented, and answered my questions with good information. Mike and Cape Fear HVAC have earned my trust, and I'm happy to continue engaging their services to keep my house cool and warm when needed!

I asked four companies to provide an estimate for the installation of a gas water heater for my house. Factoring in a number of items, including how the owner, William, dealt with me during the on-site estimate, as well as on subsequent communications, I selected this company.The installation went extremely well. Scott E., the lead installer, and his assistant worked efficiently, and interacted in a very positive manner with me. They also followed safety guidelines with respect to the Covid-19 pandemic.Overall, the whole experience with William Parrish Plumbing was quite positive.
