I recently relocated to Raleigh and had some work done on the house that required the carpenters to remove the toilet to lay down a wood floor. It was obvious that the wax seal had deteriorated and needed to be replaced. I researched plumbers on YELP and found that CK Plumbing had excellent reviews. I called to make an appointment and everyone I dealt with was helpful and friendly. Sean and his coworker showed up at my house on schedule, re-placed the wax ring and re-seated the toilet. The charge was what was quoted. I won't hesitate to call them again for more work, or when I redo my bathroom.

My home has been on well water since it was built in 1964. I've lived here since 1989 and we suffered the consequences of having a well. We had blue stained tubs, deep orange rust stains and scale on appliances, tubs, toilets, sinks and countertops. The ice maker, Keurig, washing machine and toilet parts were constantly in need of repair and the water was so turbid I had to use a Brita filter for everything. Thanks to CK's Plumbing and Backflow I now have clean water. I found this company of Angie's List and they had excellent reviews. Kyle came out and gave me an estimate and explained what needed to be done to get off my well and switch to city water. Chris, the owner, came out late in the evening to get the trench dug, even though he had already put in a full day. He had a full schedule the next day and training and wanted to get my job underway. Here it is a few days later and the job is completely done, as promised. I'm pretty sure the fees were reasonable. As a matter of fact they were $500 less than a plumber that I've used before and won't use again, now that I have a new plumber! They cleaned up the best they could, considering they had to dig up quite a trench to lay the new pipes. I'm very happy. Thank you to CK's.

In my entire life never had such an experience!!!! I was verbally assaulted by the plumber and had to ask them to leave my property immediately. Got the whole exchange on our video cameras, was willing to provide to management but MANAGEMENT DOESN'T CARE. Owner would not even return our calls. I would advise staying far far far away from this company.

Jason from 3rd Generation Plumbing went above and beyond to install our kitchen sink and faucet after the big name retailer (no names mentioned, rhymes with woes) we paid to install them proceeded to bungle the process for two months. He persisted in following up with said retailer and kept us informed, even while he was on vacation. Then when he was finally cleared to install the sink, he discovered that the DIY countertop tile job by the former homeowners was overextended and required additional work to trim away before the sink would fit. He dealt with this as well despite the extra time and effort involved. Final result looks great and we are very happy with it. Throughout the process Jason was courteous, helpful, and professional. We highly recommend this business and plan to use them again in the future.

Roto-rooter did a fantastic job on a leaking toilet that I had on the Fourth of July. Nyshiem was a knowledgable and personable individual. He took the time to walk me through our options and broke down the cost for each option. He got the job done efficiently and effectively.

CK's Plumbing and Backflow ran a natural gas line from our crawlspace to the new grill. From the beginning they responded quickly, had someone over for a quote in no time, and provided wonderful customer service throughout always letting me know what was going on. As for the work, they did an amazing job and did it efficiently with no reason for concern on my part. The crew were friendly and respectful of my house and property. I definitely would recommend them!

Carolina Plumbing & Repair has come out to my home twice now. Each time, they have been on time, professional, and courteous. Most importantly, they do GREAT work, they do it quickly, and the prices are more than reasonable.

I plan on only using them going forward when I need a plumber.

We recently purchased a home in the Raleigh area, and soon thereafter we were notified by the local water company that there was a significant leak somewhere on the property. We spoke with many different plumbers, but Eddie was clearly the best choice. He has more years of experience than I've been alive, charged reasonable rates, and was able to schedule a visit on the same day.

Once he was on-site, he identified the leak was within our irrigation system and was able to quickly shut off the leak without disrupting the flow to the house. He, unfortunately, didn't have the equipment to complete the repair, else I would have certainly contracted him to do so.

Overall, Eddie is a straight shooter and the type of person you'd comfortably recommend to friends and family - not just to random people on the internet!

I ask for a quote on installing a water softener they told me they charge 1100 to 1500 dollars on an install that would take an hour. Normally I pay 400 to 500 dollars for this install. Be careful using this company
