I recently relocated to Raleigh and had some work done on the house that required the carpenters to remove the toilet to lay down a wood floor. It was obvious that the wax seal had deteriorated and needed to be replaced. I researched plumbers on YELP and found that CK Plumbing had excellent reviews. I called to make an appointment and everyone I dealt with was helpful and friendly. Sean and his coworker showed up at my house on schedule, re-placed the wax ring and re-seated the toilet. The charge was what was quoted. I won't hesitate to call them again for more work, or when I redo my bathroom.

They were quick to respond to my needs, and very transparent about the process- providing options and working to tailor a solution that fit my needs. I am very pleased with their work, and would highly recommend PlumbV!

Contacted Axis through a recommendation from a friend to do remediation prior to selling our house. The gentleman who showed up was prompt and courteous. He went re-reviewed the list of repairs that were needed with me and patiently detailed what he planned to do to address each item. He finished the list (8 items of varying complexity) in approximately 1.5 hours). Upon completion, he walked me through all the repairs on all 3 floors of the house. Once he was certain everything had been satisfactorily been completed he presented the bill and walked me through each item / charge. To top it all off, the bill was less than I'd anticipated. I will likely be a return customer should the need arise.

Our irrigation backflow preventer's relief valve failed yesterday. CK's team of Raymond and Andrew replaced the unit today (it was 28-years-old - time for a new one), and I feel I have to comment. They are both professional, personable and knowledgeable, and quickly completed the task. I will call on CK's for all our plumbing needs, and suggest you do the same. Thanks, guys!

Showed up Thursday after waiting all day, finally after 4 we’re told they have to come back Friday because parts for the ac unit is frozen somehow in the middle of summer. We wait all day today Friday and call at 4:45pm to confirm they’re still coming out and are told yes. We received a voicemail after 6 saying they won’t come out until Monday now even though they do weekend appointments. The tech called us again and didn’t even have an excuse and said he won’t be here until Monday but he’s also the weekend tech. Very unprofessional and I highly DO NOT recommend them. Young kids in the home and tons of family coming in tomorrow Saturday.

I cannot say enough good things about their repair service for all the work they've done in and under my old house to get the plumbing updated and in good shape, including a couple emergency calls. And thank you Richard for being so patient and taking extra time to reroute some lines so nicely. Thank you so much.

My kitchen sink got clogged last night and I spent two hours this morning snaking the pipes and removing and cleaning the trap with no success . I called Affortable Plumbing, after the guy arrived it only took him 15 mins to resolve. I was very happy with my experience, they arrived quickly and did good work, reasonable price. I will use them for my next plumbing project. Highly recommend them.

The Raleigh Handyman (Alan) performs excellent service, is personable, on time and reasonably priced. We are moving my father into my sister's home and needed safety measures installed. Alan installed wall heaters, handrails, wall cabinets, safety grab bars and mounted a TV. Throughout the work, Alan asked for (and accepted!) our input. In essence, we worked on the project together - he wanting to ensure that it was all done exactly as we wanted. Alan also provided his expert advice when we suggested a measure/technique that would not have led to the best outcome. There is no question that we would recommend Alan to anyone and will certainly have him do any future work we need.

I ask for a quote on installing a water softener they told me they charge 1100 to 1500 dollars on an install that would take an hour. Normally I pay 400 to 500 dollars for this install. Be careful using this company
