I recently called Jayk's Plumbing to fix my high water pressure due to a bad PRV valve. I had just received an estimate from another company and felt their price was too high and didn't enjoy the high pressure sales pitch. Jayk's Plumbing was able to repair it significantly cheaper and also came out to the house within an hour. Great, professional service at affordable pricing and NO high pressure sales pitches. We noticed a few days ago that water has been entering our pantry for a while, and has already damaged the floor. This morning we realized it was coming from the washing machine. Called Ben Franklin, and they got a guy here within 2 hours. The fellow knew what he was doing, quickly diagnosed the problem as related to an inadequate laundry drain pipe. He thought the best solution would be to replace the drain from the laundry room down through the crawl space to the far corner of the house. He warned me that it wouldn't be cheap, and would take a day of work. I was pleasantly surprised when the whole job was finished before 4 PM.

Jimmy and his crew did an outstanding job installing our new HVAC and mini split. They completed both jobs in a timely manner, cleaned up and answered all of our questions along the way. We highly recommend them to anyone looking for a qualified and professional company to work on their home.

This company ripped us off!!! We paid to have a zone system and AC put in. Months after installation we kept having to call them to come out to fix it because it wasn't working properly. Every person who came out told us the duct work wasnt done correctly. They came out several times and every time they said it was fixed. Come to find out 3 years later after it went out again. Our zone system was never hooked up! We paid to have a zone system and it was never hooked up! They never fixed it! This company Is the worst beware! Dont waist your money! Years later we are still having to pay for a system we paid thousand of dollars for. This company doesnt stand by their work! This isn't a honest company! They took advantage of us. We were customers hoping to find a honest company to do right by us. We are a family of 6 with not much money and this company stole from us! Very disappointed and will not let this go! I feel it is very unethical that someone will tell us they are fixing something and never do the job. They took my money saying they was completeing the job we requested. Honestly this has to be illegal. I will definitely look into how illegal it is I wanted to make sure I left a review to save someone else from the headache my family is experiencing right now!

UPDATE!!!!

I have called the company several times to come up some resolve and I keep getting the run around. I keep being told that David the one who handled the job will call me back. I have yet to hear back from him. I have confirmed information that what I paid for is not what I got. That is all around illegal to not give a customer what they paid for. I just cant believe that a company would take advantage of a customers in this manner. I will continue to update how this company handles this situation. I gave them the opportunity to resolve the issue and nothing has happened.

We have had a wonderful experience with Midtown Plumbing! They were on time (actually a few mins early), polite, knowledgeable, and worked efficiently. They call ahead of time to confirm the appointment, then text the morning of letting us know who to expect at our appointment. I love supporting a small, local business and this business is definitely one I would recommend!! We will use them again!

The entire process of scheduling and getting the maintenance done was great. Kelly Baker walked me through all the options on the phone, and gave me excellent counsel on what she believed was the right service/plan I should opt for. Tim showed up on time and did an excellent and professional job inspecting the furnace, explained the technical aspects of workings of the furnace and even showed me all the issues/potential problems that the furnace was facing. I couldn't be more happier with the service provided and the business itself. Great job guys!

Jesus Raya literally spent the day making repairs and improvements to my Air Conditioning system. He worked a half day yesterday looking over the three levels in the home. I showed him the areas of the home that had moisture problems. We discussed the components that needed to be replaced as well as the improvements that were needed because the house was built in the 1970s.On both days, Mr. Raya worked hard and constantly. He was familiar with all aspects of the air conditioning system as well as the equipment needed to make the necessary improvements. I was pleased with all aspects of Jesus Raya’s work.

I highly recommend James from the Raleigh branch. He correctly diagnosed an issue that was misdiagnosed by another company who was trying to sell me on a more expensive part or new unit altogether. He was very thorough in his explanation and had our AC up and running in no time.

I recently relocated to Raleigh and had some work done on the house that required the carpenters to remove the toilet to lay down a wood floor. It was obvious that the wax seal had deteriorated and needed to be replaced. I researched plumbers on YELP and found that CK Plumbing had excellent reviews. I called to make an appointment and everyone I dealt with was helpful and friendly. Sean and his coworker showed up at my house on schedule, re-placed the wax ring and re-seated the toilet. The charge was what was quoted. I won't hesitate to call them again for more work, or when I redo my bathroom.
