Very timely response. John Gehringer did a great job of unclogging the bathtub drain as well as checking sinks and toilets to verify whether a single or multiple source issue. He was very polite and explained the equipment he used. This was my first time using Rooter & Sons and was able to schedule quickly. Kevin was very professional and knowledgeable of the kind of water heater I needed, and he did all the work in a couple of hours, I was so pleased with his work that I hired him to install a gas line for my gas stove, he arranged for the permit to be processed and for the inspection to be done.

Perhaps I'm not a handyman, but I can tell a good job from bad. The story: I bought a toilet tank kit to replace the insides of the tank and I thought it would take me one hour max. Maybe the kit didn't quite fit, or maybe I'm just that bad, but at the end of the ordeal I had leaks from various places, plus, I broke the shut off valve. Spent about 5 hours laying on the wet floor. At this time, around Christmas, it's been hard to find someone to come over, especially at 9 PM. Well, they did and all I can say, it was amazing. Kind of like an emergency surgery (and in fact, I think surgery is a kind of plumbing) - full focus on the job, actually running (not walking) back to the truck for supplies. Give me the scalpel, except give me the wrench, in this case. I am impressed.

I used Project Services on three separate occasions a number of years ago. Each time, they were thorough and professional. The first time, they were the second company brought in to look at replacing a water heater. They walked me through the potential complicating issues first and did not try to up sell me on anything.

The second time, a different person replaced a vanity and faucet, and made sure it looked right despite not having access to the same tiles. The third time, they quickly diagnosed and fixed a shower/bathtub leak at pretty minimal cost.

In each instance I was at the mercy of professionals who easily could have upsold or over-charged me. I really appreciate how they run their business here.

WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THEM DUE TO HIDDEN , SURPRISE CHARGES, We hired Cary plumbing to replace the water heater in the attic. The service was good although the reason I am giving them a 1 star was they tacked on over $100 for a third installer to help the team bring down the old heater from the attic. Cary plus,bing has come to the house to give us the price to replace the heater so they knew that it was in the attic and the quote included removal and disposal. This was not disclosed to us at all and was simply added to the final bill when the installation was already complete so we couldn't do anything about it.
I would not trust Cary plumbing as you never know what additional surprise charge they will add on to the final bill. We called the company 3 times to resolve this , even offered to pay 50% but they refused to budge. Very disappointed as we went with them based on their reviews.
